Later that night, the raindrops grew louder as the wind started to worsen. Although nothing had been damaged, everyone became cautious and started to evacuate inside their base to remain safe for the time being of the incoming storm. The same hour, Samantha was sat on a chair, deeply in thought while her forehead rested on the palm of her hands. Her mind kept racing back to the recent conversation with Schlatt. His voice kept bothering her since then and was the cause of her restless hours.

Dream, George and Sapnap however were cleaning up inside to fit most of their gear after removing everything from outside. The constant squeek, clang and creaks surrounded the house but the girl inside her room remained unaware as she was drowning slowly to an endless sea of thoughts.

" Hey, isn't it a little too quiet? " Sapnap asked after taking a break from pushing a lot of stuff around while he drinks from a cup filled with water.

George turned to him with a steady glance as he was carrying a chest of weapons and armor. He responded only with a shrug and continued to make his way towards his own room, where he can stuff a few of the armoury inside. Sapnap lets out a scoff and glanced at Dream, who just exited his room with a confused look.

" What? " Dream asked.

" You should go check on her, she's been awfully quiet this past hours. I think she's dead or something. " Sapnap said and pointed at the door beside him while he leans on a wall with his arms crossed.

" I already did a while ago, she must be sleeping. " The masked man replied dryly as he plopped down on a wooden chest to take a break, wiping the sweat off his forehead while doing so.

Sapnap decided to let go of the hook and dropped the cup to the side. Dream paid Zero attention to the guy until he noticed him staring at him. Dream raised an eyebrow at Sapnap. Knowing Sapnap for the longest time, Dream knew this guy had something to say, either Useless or Useful.

" Are you really agreeing to the Election? " He asked.

Dream cleared his throat and looked down with his hands stuck together. His eyebrows furrowed and his lips formed a straight line.

" If it can benefit to us, I will have to. "

" What did that sheep even say? " Sapnap snickered a small laugh and tapped his shoe on the ground to make a little rythym to ease the ear-piercing silence.

" He can stop this war by letting L'manburg's ground back in our control. "

Sapnap turned his head to Dream.

" But what if he loses? "

The entrance to George's room opened, where George himself finally stepped out of his room in which caught the attention of the two. The relaxed one made his way towards a chair and sat comfortably on it while he looks at the two.

" He isn't going to lose. " George stated calmly.

" How? " Sapnap asked, flailing his arms around as he was confused on why George seemed to be confident with his prediction.

George took in a deep breath before standing up once again. The two's eyes followed his every move until he stopped by his bedroom door once again.

" I can't tell, you'll see for yourself. " George responded before locking his door after stepping inside.

In the Middle of the Night, a few knocks came from the door waking Dream up who was sleeping beside the front door. He steadily pushed himself up from the floor and glanced at a nearby window. His eyes could still see the trees swaying harshly with the wind and leaves being thrown around. He frowned and slowly opened the door, letting a gush of wind inside with a loud whistle. Luckily, No one seemed to be bothered as none of George and Sapnap's door opened.

" Schlatt!? What are you doing here? " Dream whispered loudly towards Schlatt who was standing outside, soaked to the top. Schlatt presented a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of his head.

" I have nowhere to go to. " Schlatt answered.

Dream groaned in irritation before letting him step inside but restricted the man from stepping No more than once. Schlatt then was stuck on the corner with a rag beneath him to prevent the floor from getting soaked with all the drops from his clothes and hair. Dream frowned and looked around, wondering how he'll do this. He rubbed his hand to his face, only to realize he had No mask on. He whipped his head away and swiftly grabbed the mask from beside the window.

While tying, the door from his right slowly creaked open. Dream's eyes widened as he saw a glimpse of brown eyes and long hair. He quickly tied the mask to his head and turned to her, surprising Samantha.

" I just heard a noise and thought of checking it out. " She said, defending herself.

" It's fine, go back- "

" Hello there, nice to see you again. " Schlatt peaked from behind Dream and waved a little at Samantha. She frowned and slowly brought her head out, her eyes widening as she sees Schlatt.

" Did you- Did you just come from outside? " She asked.

" Yes and thought of seeking for help here, I was kind of injured as well. " Schlatt replied and brought up his arm, showing a massive scratch that managed to rip his sleeve.

Samantha turned her head towards Dream. He frowned and blocked the exit of her door with his arms crossed to his chest.

" I can take care of it. "

" No, No you can't. You almost used disgusting water on an open wound yourself, Dream. " She shot back and stepped out, only to be trapped in between his arms after he slammed it on the door behind her. Samantha looked up in surprise with her back now stuck to the door as she tried to maintain space between her and Dream.

" I said, go back. " He ordered in a rather strict tone.

The small space made Samantha uncomfortable as his face was only inches away from her's. Something inside her chest started to beat rapidly, increasing heat all throughout her body.

" I can't. "

" Why not? "

Samantha frowned and threatened to raise her hand to punch him, only to have her wrist pinned to the door.

" Let go, Just let me help! "

" I can do it myself. "

" For god's sake, what has gotten in to you? Can't you be glad I'm not escaping instead. " Samantha yelled out, knowing it was almost impossible for her to move any part of her body as she was pinned down.

Silence took over the two as they both glared in to each other's faces, almost similar to two hostile creatures wanting to rip each other's heads off. The tension then started to get heavy, both of them breathing loudly due to shortage of breath when a low cough from behind snapped them back to reality. Samantha moved her head, only to see Schlatt on the corner rubbing his arms awkwardly.

" Let go of me, Dream. " She whispered, in which he did after giving up on her stubborness.

Samantha scoffed lightly before walking towards Schlatt.

" Can I see the wound? " She asked and brought her hands out. Schlatt nodded and placed his arm on top of it.

Dream decided not to watch as he stomped his way to get the aid kit. Samantha watched as he did so before rolling her eyes and focusing back to Schlatt.

" Do I have a fault in this? " Schlatt asked with a chuckle.

" No, it's just his constant changing of emotions. " Samantha replied in annoyance.

Schlatt decided not to reply and waited for her to be done with checking. She finished rather quickly and Dream appeared with a kit in his hand. Samantha simply grabbed it and never spared him a glance the whole time while Dream sat on a chair by the corner, sending daggers on its way towards Schlatt.

" It isn't that sever so it'll heal in a few days. " Samantha stated while wrapping his arm with thin bandages.

" Thank you but may I ask, were you a medic? "

Samantha finished the wrapping and turned to him.

" No, I learned by watching. "

" Impressive, you must be very keen on memory. "

She simply nodded and stood up.

" Are you done? " Dream asked.

" Yes, here. " Samantha finally turned to him and tossed him the kit in which he easily caught. He then stood up from his seat and was about to place it back when his attention was caught by Schlatt and Samantha's conversation.

" You should stay here for the night, there's a storm outside. " Samantha said, warning Schlatt about the harsh rain.

" If only I can. " Schlatt mumbled.

Samantha turned her eyes and saw Dream by the corner. She raised her eyebrows until he walked away.

" You can, it's only for the night. You may leave after sunrise, the rain should be a lot calmer then. "

" Thank you for helping me, Samantha. " Schlatt genuinely thanked her with a slight bow of his head.

" No problem at all. " She said with a small smile.

" Say, have you considered answering to our deal? " Schlatt suddenly asked while he kept his voice low.

She pierced her lips together and took in a deep breath.

" I might consider, " She sighed. " Only for a price. "

" Alright. " He smirked in accomplishment, knowing he had already won.
