Rose's POV
------
Umbridge's reign of terror continued and surprisingly enough she did not bother me much anymore, I was far to happy for her to bother me.
Me, Hermione and Katherine spent most of our time studying in the library, we all followed Hermione's 10 step revision plan...not that me and Katherine had much of a choice she was very serious about us all getting good grades. The rest of the time Katherine was with George. While Hermione was with Ron and Harry, who were probably getting into some kind of trouble as usual. Me however, whenever I wasn't in class, or studying I was with Draco. We were spending as much time as possible together, we were in separable now whether people liked it not. Our time was either spent sneaking into each other's dorms, we'd go to the kitchens at night often which was always fun, I still couldn't believe Draco had never tried nachos. He was reluctant at first but once he tried them he was sold and ever since we'd go to the kitchens. I'd make him different kinds of foods he'd never had before, I'm guessing there thought to be to 'common' at his house. Draco had even let me read a muggle book to him although if anyone asked him this he would surely deny it, we were half way through the shining one of my favourite Stephen king novels.
Life was amazing at the minute, minus Umbridge put I guess life at Hogwarts could never be perfect. She was doing everything in her power to make life here miserable, banning everything Fred and George sold from their store which I guess can be seen as both a blessing and a curse. Draco was still part of the inquisitorial squad but this time I listened to him and trusted him, knowing if anything went wrong he'd let me know straight away.

"Rose eat something!" Hermione said sternly
"Mione I'm not hungry honestly"
"You must eat before exams" She pressed on.
I huffed knowing she wouldn't give up until I had eaten so I shoved some toast onto my plate along with pouring myself some pumpkin juice. I literally felt her gaze on me as I took a bite out of the toast.
"Hermione I'm eating, just go back to your book"
"Very well, make sure you eat the entire thing though Rose"
"Yes mum" I laughed.
"Hey guys" Harry said as he came to sit at the almost empty griffindore table along with Katherine and Ron.
"Hey" I smiled
"How's everyone feeling about the exam" Ron questioned
"Alright to be fair, thanks to Hermione's great revision schedule" I teased
"Better you than me" Ron joked, only earning a stern glare from Hermione.
"I'm so nervous! I feel like I'll forget everything straight away" Katherine said, biting her nails
"You'll be brilliant love" George suddenly appeared, placing a quick kiss on Katherine's cheek.
"Alright for you to say, you've already done them!" Katherine continued.
"Well there may be a few surprises in today's" Fred teased
"Bloody hell what have you done" Ron started
"All in good time little brother" George smirked.
This was going to be good.
We all began packing away our bags as we went to the library for a couple hours before the exam started. Just as I was about to move from my seat I spotted that familiar head of blond hair staring at me from the Slytherin table, I felt myself melt instantly as I shoot him a quick smile. Draco winked at me back before returning to his conversation with Blaise and Jordan.

I watched as Hermione paced in circles before the great hall doors opened and the exam started. Merlin she was making everyone even more nervous.
"Hermione stop!" Katherine called, making Hermione look up from the ground and stop immediately.
I let a small smile form as I watched Hermione blush out of embarrassment. She didn't need to be nervous we all knew she'd come top of the class like she did every single year. Then the great hall doors burst open, presenting an overly smiley Umbridge who gestured us to our seats. Before I began to make my way to my assigned placed I felt a cold hand slip into mine, I already knew who it was. I turned to see Draco looking back at me with a smirk on his face.
"Good luck love" He said warmly
"You too" I smiled back, squeezing his hand gently.
1hr & 45 minutes later.
The clock ticked on as I came to the end of my paper with only a few pages left to go. Hermione and Katherine were sat either side of me and I noticed how we were at the exact same point in the paper. I tapped my quill lightly on the parchment as I felt Umbridge's burning stare cut right through me, making me tighten the grip on my quill. Just as I began to start writing a new sentence a strange noise came from the halls making everyone stop to look back at the door. Umbridge looked bewildered as she made her way down the row of seats, heading to inspect the noise. There it was again, only louder this time. Umbridge opened the heavy doors as she peered around to her left and right. Nothing.
All of a sudden as the had began to turn around a spall spark hovered in the air only inches away from her face, it continued to hover for a few seconds more before rushing into the great hall setting off a blue firework.
Suddenly, Fred and George flew into the great hall on their broomsticks setting off hundreds of fireworks and sparklers in the great hall as everyone stood up from their seats to watch in ore at the beautiful colours. The hall was lit up as everyone cheered and chanted Fred and George's names over and over again. The fireworks took forms, one bright orange one turned into a dragon, I swear a flying spark had even almost got Draco and Goyle.
Umbridge had zero control over the situation as the students raced past her, pushing her as they went, I throughly enjoyed shoving her hard as I ran past. Everyone ran into the courtyard, gathering round to see the firework show take life even more.
"I will have order" Umbridge screamed.
But everyone carried on laughing and cheering Fred and George on, especially Katherine who looked ecstatic. Professor Flitwick even was joining in on the fun, anything to get back to Umbridge she'd made all the teachers lives here hell. I was stood next to Hermione and Katherine when suddenly Hermione turned around frantically as Harry fell onto the ground, doubled over in pain.
"What's wrong Harry!" She said was panic
Harry continued winching in pain as the crowds cheers began to die down and turn to the stare at Harry with fright.
"Sirius!" Harry blurted out as Hermione crouched down in front of him, trying to help him back to his feet.
Without hesitation Hermione shouted over to Ron as they followed Harry in a rush leaving everyone confused in the courtyard.
"What was that about?" Katherine questioned
"I'm not sure..." I said
"Do you think we should go help them?".
Without needing to answer the question me and Katherine rushed over to Ginny, Neville and Luna explaining what just happened to Harry. Like me and Katherine they didn't take much convincing before we all raced off in search of the golden trio.
We searched through classrooms, empty corridors shouting there names aimlessly.
"They've got to be somewhere" Ginny groaned
"You don't think they left already do you!" Neville questioned
"Let's hope not" I said.
Before we could take off looking for them again I was grabbed harshly by the collar of my robes, making my uniform suffocate me as I choked out for air. I looked round to see that Neville had taken off running where as me Katherine, Luna and Ginny had been grabbed by the inquisitorial squad.
"Looking for Potter are you? Tell us what is his up to!" Goyle practically spat in my ear as he gripped both my hands together behind my back. I could feel his nails dig into my skin in anger once I did not repsond.
"Fine let's take you to Umbridge" He spat.
He grabbed my painfully as he kicked me body forward gesturing me to walk, Pansy had Ginny, Katherine had been snatched by a rather ashamed looking Jordan and Luna by some Slytherin girl I did not recognise.
They marched us all up to Umbridge's office sternly, as soon as we entered the room my eyes fixated on Harry, Hermione and Ron who had like us been caught. However Harry was sat in a chair, facing Umbridge directly as she towered over him.
"Caught this one running away!" A voice shouted from the door, as soon as I looked up I saw Draco strut in with Neville in his grasp. His eyes melted when they met mine and his expression quickly softened as his grip on Neville loosened slightly.
"Goyle get your nails out of my skin for Merlins sake" I tried as I felt his nails cut into my flesh...
"Goyle swap with me" Draco spat "Now!".
Goyle finally took his claw like nails out of my skin and pushed me into Draco harshly, Draco caught me straight away as he pulled up and to the back of the room without another word. I saw Neville move at the discomfort of Goyles grip making my heart ache. Draco put my arms behind my back making it look as if he was holding me when in fact he intertwined his hand with mine, holding onto it gently.
"You were going to Dumbledore weren't you?" Umbridge said sternly, moving closer to Harry
"No!" Harry shouted.
Suddenly, Umbridge struck Harry over the face, slapping him hard and with force, I went to run forward but Draco tighten his grip on my hands making it so I was unable to move.
"You called for me" a dreary voice rung out from the doorway, it was Snape.
"Did you bring the vertiaserum" Umbridge questioned
"I'm afraid you used up the rest of it interrogating Miss Chang" Snape said dryly.
We all look round at each other from the realisation what Cho was forced into telling Umbridge about Dumbledores army, the guilty looks on our faces were undeniable.
Snape went to turn at leave at Umbridge's desperate expression, he was headed out just when Harry shouted out to him.
"He's got pad foot, he's got pad foot in the place where it's hidden" ...
Silence
"Pad foot ?? What's pad foot, where what is hidden" Umbridge questioned, venom in her tone.
Silence
"No idea..." Snape said, almost bored and with that he left...leaving Harry with a look of relief on his face.
Umbridge turned to fade away from Harry as she pondered with herself, muttering something about the ministry. Finally, she carefully place her picture of Fudge face down and said something that made my stomach churn.
"The cruciatus curse should loosen your tongue".
"That's illegal!" Hermione shouted.
We all desperately began to try an escape the grips of the inquisitorial squad while Umbridge slowly lifted her wand. Draco had his hands wrapped around mine too tight, I could barely move.
"Please Draco let me go" I begged
"She'll only hurt you if I do" He whispered to me.
But we couldn't let her do this to Harry, after everything she's done this year this was to far, she was pure evil...The dark Lord was starting to look better in comparison and that's saying something. I looked over at Hermione as she shot me a look of horror.
"TELL HER HARRY!" She shouted
This made Umbridge lower her wand slightly as her head whipped round to look at Hermione.
"Tell me what?" She said with desperation
"If you won't tell her I will!" She continued
"Tell me what?"
"Where Dumbledores secret weapon is...".
What was she on about ?
Ron looked at me with confusion plastered all over his face as I shot him a look to tell him I didn't know what Hermione was on about either. But knowing Hermione she had made something up on the spot just to buy us some more time. Luckily for us all Umbridge bought it and let Hermione and Harry lead her to this supposed 'secret weapon'.
