     Sophie touched his hand. The fury in his eyes died down a bit, but he couldn't shake the sadness knowing that she was in love with Fitz. He knew, he felt her heart flutter every time he smiled at her, or complimented her. He knew they would be perfect for each other.

     But he was going to try as hard as he could to make Sophie his, even if Fitz might not like it. Fitz got everything he ever wanted and more, everyone he loved. Sadly, for Keefe it was the opposite, except for one thing: he had Sophie to love. He just wished she loved him back. And he was feeling pretty brave today.

     So he looked at Sophie, and did his best 'follow me' glance. "You know, all this juicy stuff is making me want some juice...be right back."

     "Yeah, and all that juice is making me need to go to the bathroom." Sophie said.

     Keefe walked out, Sophie following suit. She closed the door behind him and he looked back to see her confused face. He motioned for her to follow again, and walked until he thought the rest of the group couldn't hear them. "Meet me on the balcony viewing the backyard. Tonight at 11:00, I have something to talk to you about."

     "Okay."

Keefe knew she would find it, there was only one balcony facing the Vacker's backyard. "Also, you go back in the room first, and I'll actually get some juice so it doesn't seem suspicious."

     "Got it." She winked, jogging back.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~a few minutes later~~~~~~~~~
     "Keefe, how's that juice?" Fitz asked.
     "Pretty good," he responded as he sipped his OJ. (I don't think elves have orange juice, but let's just roll with it) Turns out he did need some juice, he was parched! Never thought I'd use that word, Keefe thought. Didn't know it was in my dictionary. Fitz seemed a little suspicious of his 'juice' trip though...hopefully they walked far enough away and no one would crash the party later that night.
     All alone with Sophie Foster, whatcha gonna do, Keefe?
     Who are you?
     Oh, just a more funny version of you!
     How dare you?
     Hah. I also have better looking hair...but that's not the point. You got this girl to meet you, so make it count!
     Thanks for the advice, Mr. Life Coach, but you still haven't answered my first question. Who are you?
     Well duh, I'm your emotional and spiritual mind. Or as you like to call me, 'that voice in he back of your head'.
     Ohhhhhh. And I know what I'm gonna say to her, alright? I'm gonna tell her tha-
     "Keefe?" Someone waved a hand in front of his face.
     He blinked, realizing it was Dex. "Earth to Keefe!"
    "Sorry, what?"
     "We were just talking about that little war between you and Wonderboy that seems to be going on right now."
     He glanced at Sophie. "Oh. Yeah, whatever war this is, know that Lord Hunkyhair WILL rein supreme!"
     Everyone rolled their eyes at Keefe, though a smile seemed to tug at their lips. He loved pretending that he didn't know what was going on, and he definitely made up for it with his charm and funniness. Didn't he? (Author says no) Oh come on! I totally make up for it! You love my hair. (Author agrees begrudgingly, sighs and steps out of the story). I'm not going to even fuss what that was, Keefe thought.
   "So, we gonna keep playing Truth or Dare, or are we gonna play a different game, or just talk, or do makeovers-"
     "NO WAY are we doing makeovers, Biana, not if I can help it." Sophie interrupted.
     "Well, lucky for me you can't help it, and we all know you like it when I dress you up and the boys gape at you like you're some fancy princess."
     It was true, at least for Keefe. Sophie was so beautiful, and she didn't even know it. Sometimes he wished she could be less oblivious to everything. Then again, that's what made their friendship fun.
     Sophie blushed. "Well I don't think-"
     "It's true, you always find a way to look pretty all the time." Fitz blurted out before Keefe could say anything.
     Sophie blushed again. "To answer your question Biana, I think it's a lot of fun to play Make Foster Blush." He said, steering the attention away from Fitz's comment.
      "Okay, so it's settled then! We do makeovers!"
     "But no one ever said that-" Sophie persisted.
     "Ah, don't judge the makeup master." Keefe said.
     "But I don't really feel like-"
     "Ah!" He wagged his finger in disapproval.
     "Fine." She grumbled.
     "Then let's go! Sophie, Linh, come with me, my pretties! Muahahahaha!"
~~~~~~~~~~~a few moments later~~~~~~~~~~

     Sophie's POV

     Biana was obsessed! Sophie swore, one day she was going to end up being the Maid of Honor at Biana's wedding to some red lipstick.

     But she couldn't deny she liked the makeup and the dresses, and all the fancy stuff. She didn't really like wearing it, but it made her feel like she fit in more with the 'so fancy I sparkle 24/7' crowd of elves.

      "Okay, Sophie, you first!"

Sophie's outfit:
(can't insert photo, isn't working, so I'll just describe)

Sophie had on a ruffly cherry red dress that went down just below her knees. The dress had spaghetti straps and a ribbon around her waist, also red, and tying around the back.
Sophie had on sparkling white flats, matching the little white specs hidden in her dress. Sophie refused to wear heels, obviously.
Sophie's makeup:

Sophie's hair:

Linh's outfit:
(Also not working to load the image, same for everything else)

Linh wore a sparkly silver flowy dress, falling down to her ankles and highlighting the tips of her hair.
Her shoes were equally as sparkly, and were silver flats.
Linh's makeup:
Light foundation with a little bit of silver and metallic eyeshadow (no eyeliner), soft pink matte lipstick, and a little bit of blush.
Linh's hair:
Curled, small braids woven into the mix.

Biana's outfit:
A smooth teal dress, looking a lot like a mermaid style, with silver accents. Off the shoulder style.
Biana's makeup:
Light foundation with a bit of blush highlighting her cheekbones, dark dark dark red lipgloss, and skin color eyeshadow with some mascara and a cats eye style eyeliner.
Biana's hair:
Biana's hair was woven into an intricate swirling bun, with braids and twists and small strands falling in front of her face.

Still Sophie's POV

When they had finally finished their extremely long makeovers, Sophie, Biana, and Linh walked down to where the boys were sitting, talking.

"You know, Dex, Gulons are more awesome than you'd thi-Woah."

The boys stared at them like they were the last piece of mallowmelt on a plate. Beautiful and priceless. Sophie definitely wasn't that. But if she wasn't...why were they all staring at her? Someone coughed, reminding the boys that their staring in awe was weird. Maybe it was her. Yeah, it was probably her.

They glanced away. "Um, who wants to finish our game?" Tam piped up.

"You know," Linh yawned, "I'm getting kinda tired. Maybe we should get some sleep, it's already 10:15."

"Yeah, true," Keefe said, looking at Sophie and giving a subtle nod.

She gave a small thumbs up. "Yeah, I'm a little tired too. We should call it a night, we always have tomorrow morning."

~~~~~~~~~~later....~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back to Keefe's POV
A dark sky. Bright white stars twinkling in the layers of blue and purple. Misty, translucent clouds covering the outline of the trees off in the distance. Keefe looked out the window, seeing this, wondering how something could be so beautiful, yet so curious. Just like Sophie. She was the stars in his sky of darkness, the hope in him every time something terrible happened. She was there for him, always. So tonight, he was going to tell her. Tell her how he truly felt about her.
Keefe was scared. He had always felt flutters every time Sophie saw Fitz, but he also felt her heart skip a beat when she saw Keefe. She always backed him up, always smiled and laughed her beautifully melodic laugh when he made a joke, always blushed when he complimented her. But he was scared for this because seeing how oblivious she could be to love, he knew she didn't know he loved her, or that she might love him.
Nevertheless, he had been putting this off for too long. It was almost 11:00. Thankfully, his only companions right now were snores, and the sounds of Dex, Fitz, and Tam shifting in their sleeping bags. No one knew about his arrangement to meet Sophie.
But he walked out of the room anyway, trying not to trip on anyone or step on any limbs on the way to the door. He stepped onto the balcony, viewing the beautiful stars shimmering in the darkness again, thinking of Sophie again. As he watched a shooting star fly across the sky, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
"Hi, Keefe."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Switch to Sophie's POV~~~~~

       "Hi, Keefe." She said, walking up to him in her red dress that she still had on from makeovers. As much as she hated to admit it, she didn't want to take the dress off, she wanted to look good for Keefe. Ugh, she groaned. Why do I have to be like this? This dress is scratchy, anyway.

    Keefe turned to face her, looking a bit red as he said a quick 'hi' and looked down at the ground. Sophie knew there was something up with him, Keefe was usually very cool and collected.

     "What's wrong? And what did you want to talk about?"

     "Oh, well," he coughed, "I have something to say."

"I,————-I like you."

      Sophie's eyes widened in surprise, and she smiled. "You're cute when you worry." She said, going along with one of the lines he always said, and moved to be closer to him.

     Keefe looked up at her. "So..."

     "Yes." She answered, knowing the question. "Of course I like you back."

     Keefe pumped a fist. He stepped closer, to where their feet were touching. "See that star?" He said as he pointed to a very shimmery bright star. "It shines almost as bright as you."

     She blushed. "You're such a flirt!"

     "And you know you like it," he whispered, tracing his hand through her hair.

     "Can't deny it," She said. Sophie leaned in to where their noses were touching, and stared into those bright blue eyes that always made their way into her dreams, before closing hers and leaning in.

     She kissed him, and he kissed back. It only lasted for a few seconds, but Sophie felt compassion. She felt perfection. And more, she felt love. It was then she knew they were meant to be, whether he had figured it out yet or not.

     "So does this mean.....we're a couple?" Sophie said as she stepped back a bit.

     "I don't know. What do you think about that, Foster?"

    "I think I'd really like that." She smiled. "But one thing: we don't have to tell everyone just yet, do we? I mean, we could always...keep it a secret and then surprise them and tease them about it later..." she smiled mischievously. He looked at her in shock.

     "What? You're not the only one who likes to prank."

     "You are just perfect, aren't you? Beautiful, smart, powerful, funny, and mischievous? That's definitely the kind of girl I'd share my pranking supplies with."

     She laughed. "You're so sweet. But can I tell you something?"

      "What?"

     "You are all those things and so much more, you know that, right?"

     "Oh, who's being flirty now, Foster?" But he smiled, a real smile.

     "You know, you should be glad you're cute. If you weren't, you wouldn't be teasing me right now..." She winked.

     "Oh, look who managed to put an insult and a comment all in one sentence! Good on you!"

     "Whatever. And seriously, you don't know how amazing you are. I know I don't really do the whole 'sappy' thing, but I really really really really times infinity like you, and I am so glad you are in my life."

     "Come here." He opened his arms to her, and she leaned in. "You know Foster," he whispered in her ear, "if you wanted to say you loved me, you could've just said it normally."

     "Haha," She said through the hug. She could feel his smirk making it's way to her. "You're the best."

     "I know," he said. Sophie pulled away and rolled her eyes.

      "You think we should go inside?"

     "Well, maybe one more thing." Keefe said.

     He kissed her on the cheek. "Okay, now we can go inside. Night, Soph."

     "Night, Keefe."
