Braylon's pov
I was asleep till I heard a thump on the floor and I looked and saw a black figure.
"Ow that hurt." I heard the ninja say.
"I knew ninjas were real," I said. "In your face Grayson."
"The only thing that's in my face, is this floor." Grayson said.
"Grayson, what're you doing here?" I asked and he climbed in the bed next to me. He had a cut lip and a bruised jaw. "Who in the hell hit you?"
"Blake, don't worry about it," he said. "Can I just crash here, please?"
"Fine." I said and he climbed under the blankets. He put his hand on my waist and I just felt safe with him beside me. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up, but Grayson wasn't beside me. I took a shower and done my business. I got dressed and I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.
"Mom, I'm fine." Grayson said. "I just got into a fight."
"Well, that person had a hard punch." she said and I walked into the kitchen.
"Oh yeah, ninjas aren't real Braylon." he said.
"You looked like a ninja last night," I said. "Gray, who hit you?"
"Blake, leave it alone," he said sternly and got up and started walking away, I stood in front of him. "Blake."
"If someone hit me, wouldn't you want to know who done it?" I asked.
"You're my little sister," he said. "I can handle myself."
"According to the bruise and lip, you can't." I snapped and he clenched his fists.
"He caught me off guard Braylon." he gritted through his teeth and I got in his face.
"Who was it?" I hissed and he pushed me.
"Just leave it alone Braylon!" He yelled. "God, you gotta be so stubborn!"
"I'm sorry." I said.
"Blake," he said, I started to run upstairs but he grabbed me. "I'm sorry I yelled at you," he pinned me against the wall. "I'm sorry, ok?"
"I just don't like the fact someone hit my brother." I said.
"I know Blake, but it's best if you're not involved," he said and kissed my forehead. "Now can I see that smile." I done a slight smile and he tickled my sides. I laughed.
"Stop." I said and he smiled.
"Baby coming through." Cody said and he came downstairs holding Kali.
"Kali," Grayson said and took her. "Can I have a kiss?" She gave him a kiss.
"Iris!" Carter yelled, Iris ran through the living room and Carter running after her. They stopped as mom walked out of the kitchen.
"Hey Amy." they said nervously.
"Stop running in this house." she said.
"Haha, I told you you were going to get in trouble," Braydon said. "Hey babydoll."
"Hey." I said.
"I was talking to Kali, but hey Braylon." he said.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm kidding," he said. "Hey Kali."
"Bray." she said.
"What happened to your jaw?" Braydon asked.
"Nothing." he said and kissed Kali's cheek.
"Grayson." Ethan yelled.
"I have a baby Ethan." Grayson said.
"I'm not mad at you," Ethan said. "I'm mad at the fact you got in a fight with Brett and you let Elaine slap you."
"Iris, were going to jail." I said and we started walking out.
"Already ahead of you." she said.
"Get back here both of you." Ethan said and we looked at him.
"Why?" we snapped.
"Really?" He asked.
"No." we said.
"That's what I thought," he said. "Now get back over here." we walked back over to them.
"Why can't I slap her?" I asked. "Be glad I'm not punching her."
"Because, you can't just hit people," Grayson said and Kali hit his face, he looked at her. "That does for you too young lady."
"Kalianna Justice, don't be hitting people." I said and she started crying.
"Braylon." Braydon said.
"What?" I asked.
"You didn't have to yell at her." Grayson said.
"Ugh! Whatever," I groaned. "You gonna get some ninjas after me?"
"Man, you know what I was just thinking about?" Carter asked.
"Girls?"
"Pizza?"
"Braylon?"
"Nothing, because you're an airhead?"
"Really Braylon?" Carter asked.
"What?" I asked.
"What were you thinking about?" Grayson asked.
"Pizza," he said. "Wanna go get some?"
"Yes! My guess was right." Iris said.
"Let's go." I said and we left.

"Where's everybody?" She asked.
"Home." I said.
"Except me." Braydon said and wrapped his arms around me. He touched my side and looked at it. "When'd you get a tattoo?"
"I lost a bet against my cousin." I answered, the tattoo was family in cursive.
"I like it." he said and rubbed it. He kissed my neck again and then my shoulder.
"Get your lips off my sister." Grayson said.
"Grayson." he whined.
"Ok you two," mom said. "Kyle is going to be over here any minute with his two kids."
"What?" I asked.
"He has a son and a daughter." She said.
"I wonder if she's hot." Braydon said.
"Anyway," Grayson said. "Here's Kali." I looked and saw Kali dressed up.
"She's adorable." Braydon said.
"Bray." she said.
"Looks like the Monroe brothers are uncles." mom said.
"What?" Grayson hissed.
"Grayson Isaac." mom said.
"Yes ma'am." he said and Kali walked to Braydon.
"Braylon, I'm sorry but I gotta go." Braydon said.
"It's fine." I said.
He hugged me and Kali and done a bro shake with Grayson and left.
"Grayson, why can't you just get along with them?" Mom asked.
"Because I don't want too." he said.
"You need too or I'm not gonna want to be a woman you to see," she threatened. "Don't you think it's good they protect your sister like you and Cody do?"
"Yeah, I guess." he said, I ran upstairs and took a shower and got dressed. I ran back downstairs into the kitchen.
"Amy." Kyle called.
"In here," mom said and she looked at us. "Mess this up and it's over for both of you." she walked to the living room.
"I'm scared." I said and picked up Kali, we walked into the living room.
"Hey Braylon." Kyle said.
"Dad." a girl said and she walked in. Her hair was caramel color and had brown eyes. She was my age and really pretty.
"Yes princess?" He asked.
"Dad, don't call me that, I'm 17 not 7." she said.
"Fine," he said. "This is my daughter, Ashlyn."
"Hi." she said and smiled.
"I'm Braylon and this is my brother Grayson." I said.
"Next time, can I stay with my friends?" A boy asked and he came in. He had brown hair and brown eyes. I notice Grayson smile, but it was forced and his eyes had anger. I grabbed his hand.
"I'm Braylon," I said. "This is Grayson."
"I'm Austin." he said and Grayson squeezed my hand, I bit my lip.
"Grayson, I can't feel my hand," I whispered and he let go. "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing." he said.
"So, I made spaghetti for dinner if that's fine." mom said.
"Yah." Austin mumbled sarcastically.
"So excited, aren't you Austin?" I asked and he rolled his eyes. Ashlyn looked a little sad. "Ashlyn, what's up?" She looked at me.
"I'm fine." she said smiling. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the hallway.
"I'm a girl and I know I'm fine doesn't actually mean, I'm fine." I said.
"I have a crush on this boy." She said.
"Tell him." I said.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Of course." I said.
"Ok kids, time to eat." Mom called and we walked into the kitchen. My phone beeped.

"Shoot," I said. "Mom."
"What?" She asked.
"See um, I have somewhere I'm suppose to be and they need me so can I like go?" I asked.
"Is it with the boys?" She asked.
"Yes." I mumbled.
"You're with those boys 24/7, you'll survive once night without them." she said.
"Fine." I said.

"Sorry, my moms boyfriend and two kids are here."
"Put your phone up Braylon." mom said and we sat at the table. I got my spaghetti and started eating.
"So Braylon, you're really good at football." Kyle said.
"Thanks." I said and smiled.
"Blake, why did you switch at the game?" Grayson asked.
"Carter twisted his ankle." I said.
"Idiot," he mumbled and I elbowed him. "Hey."
"Hey to you too." I said and finished my spaghetti, I put it in the sink.
"Braylon, can you clean Kali up for me?"
"Yes I can." I said and grabbed her, I walked and cleaned her up. I came back and everyone was in the living room. I sat Kali on the floor and sat with her.
"So Grayson, how long have you played football?" Kyle asked.
"I started when I was little but then dropped it and picked it back up in 8th grade." He said.
"You play really good." He said.
"What school do you go to?" Ashlyn asked.
"Riverside." he said and looked at me. I nodded and looked back at Kali.
"Um..."
"Twin telepathy." mom said.
"Wait. That actually works?" Austin asked. He's an idiot.
"She just called you an idiot." Grayson said.
"Grayson." I snapped.
"Who called who an idiot?" Cody asked.
"You're an idiot." Grayson said.
"Ok, stop." mom said.
"Where's Frankie and Nick?" I asked.
"With Nicks family." Grayson said.
"Where've you been?" I asked.
"With Isaiah," he said. "I'm surprised you're not with your little bodyguards."
"They're not my bodyguards." I said.
"You and Iris hang out with 4 dudes," Mom said. "It kinda does seem like it."
"I don't see why she likes them so much." Grayson said.
"I don't see why you hate them that much." I said.
"Because I want too Blake, common sense." he said and I looked back at Kali.
"Your brother is mean." I whispered and she laughed.
"Play." she said and I was doing a shape thing with her.
"I gotta get going." Grayson said, I hugged him.
"Be careful please." I said and kissed my forehead.
"I will," he said and kissed moms cheek. "Love you."
"Love you." Me, mom, and Cody said and he left.
"We're going to get going too." Kyle said, he pecked moms cheek and hugged her.
"It was nice meeting you two." mom said.
"Me too." Ashlyn said and Austin rolled his eyes, they left.
"I'm going to head for bed." I said and I walked upstairs to my room, I got changed into my pajamas and crawled in my bed. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
