After negotiating with his grandmother, Wei Wuxian now left celestial mountains for gusu.
His grandmother was a lovely woman, don't get him wrong but the amount of people she sent with him to travel from here to gusu was just ridiculous. Call him conceited or arrogant but it was almost as if he didn't know to protect himself.
So that's why he was here now, both his spiritual weapons sheathed and 9 celestial disciples ready to be at his service.

Wei Wuxian had to admit,
with the black outer robe that had a white laced inner robe and a moon symbol encrypted on their sash that was elegant and pleasing to the eye,

he was quite attractive but he was nowhere near to the celestial sect's second young master.
As for Wei Wuxian, he wore a red under robe with a black outer robe and a leather sash tied to his waist along with a tassel that bore the moon symbol.
His long hair tied in a beautiful braid that had his favoured red ribbon interwinding, with his sword tied to his sash and his flute nowhere to be seen.
"Young master, we will arrive there before nightfall", the said man who was some of the senior disciplines answered.
Since there were 9 people following him and most of them were elite cultivators, they flew on their swords now and then to make the journey faster since they knew how their young master hated to be tardy.
With their black and white uniforms and the moon tassel it's easy to recognise them as Sanren clan's senior disciplines.
There were approximately 5 women and 4 men following the cultivator of extremely high-status
"Well, that's good enough." Wei Wuxian answer with a reassuring smile that made the older cultivator's heart throb.
It's not possible.. Don't carry feelings for young master Wei..! Goddammit!
The cultivator's mind went to Master Sanren's (Xiao Xingchen's) warning that he gave early on when other disciples started to look at Young master differently but who could blame them? Young Wei's beauty rivaled the immortals, they had to be a fool to not see it.

He could still remember the icy cold glare that he gave to poor disciples when Xiao Xingchen said it and unfortunately, he was one of them.
And the smile that the sect heir gave them was something that forever haunted the disciples present there, his smile quite didn't reach the eyes and his handsome features ready to lash out in absolute anger if anyone denied him. It was bone chilling.
When they reached lotus pier, it was around young afternoon .
The dock was covered with venders in bright clothing, selling bright things. Nothing like celestial mountains.
The water was faintly trying to impersonate the sun as it failed to impersonate the bright star all it could do was to be inspired by the vast clear sky, so it turned to a pretty blue. Lotus stems hung from the water as if they were floating. The lotus petals spreading out periwinkle hues with small droplets of water on them. It felt truly beautiful for Wei Ying.
He always liked lotuses, he even had his own lotus pond overfilled beautifully with lotuses of many hues.
He found the flower so charming that he always worn it as his scent until it eventually became his natural scent.
The guards and small disciples running around adorned in a sturdy shade of mauve.
"Young master, we've reached. Young master Jiang will be soon here" A feminine voice called out to the celestial sect's prized possession.
"Wei Wuxian?" An unknown voice called out with curiosity.
Wei Ying turned around to see it was none other than his best friend
Ah, just got a bit more taller and a lot more masculine.
"A-cheng"
Jiang Cheng was stupified like he would have had no idea that this beautiful man before him was his unrequited childhood sweetheart.
If it wasn't for his tassel that said "WWX"...
He would have never had guessed it anyway.
He would have never remembered the feelings, he once tried to push aside

The Jiang couple were sipping tea when they heard his son barge in.
Feeling a wave of strong spiritual energy passing through they knew that this wasn't nie huaisang or their dear daughter.
They were suprised...No, suprised was too much of an understatement to see the most beautiful person they had ever met.
Finally, it clicked.
"A-Wei?"
Those grey-tinted eyes and long inky hair was hard to forget, so as the rosy lips and dimpled smile. The pale white skin, Wei had lost the baby fat that had clung to his cheeks once.
His figure had become lithe
"Sir jiang, Madame yu. A-Wei greets you"
The couple stood up and smiled at the devastatingly pretty man before them.
"You've growned up, A-Wei" said madam yu.
Wei ying laughed a little at that, "Madame yu, you make me sound so old!"
Then Jiang Cheng added,
"and you've a bit taller although I'm still taller than you Wei",
the couple noticed how much their son resembled a flustered maiden.
They knew that wei's love towards their son was beautiful and pure but just not in a romantic way...They could only hope that he returned their son's feelings.
"Sir Jiang, where is shijie?"
"Ah, she left with her best friend, jin jixuan."
"I haven't seen Jin heir in a long time by now." Wei Ying added,
the last time he'd seen him was when Jixuan gave him a rose that he, himself painstakingly took care of for his birthday, he could still remember the flustered face of the jin heir when he gave him the young flower although the heir was older than him by almost 2 years.
"Yes, it has indeed been quite a long time, Jixuan has grown into a fine handsome young man. You and a-cheng should get going"
They left lotus pier to go to unclean realm to get their friend nie huaisang who must be waiting for them.
Qinghe
Though the travelling group got a ton of attention mainly because of Wei wuxian, but who can blame them, the spiritual beast user was quite the attraction.
They are traveling together while his and Jiang's group blended in together.
"A-Cheng, how is nie huaisang now?"
"He's a heir for god's sake and is still obsessed with making fans, what would happen to his sec-" Jiang Cheng began ranting.
"Relax, he's not that exhilarated about being a heir as you are, we're still young, A-cheng."
Wei Ying said to him, snickered with a small grin.
Just this action itself simply warms Jiang's heart.
When they finally reached unclean realm, they saw nie huaisang waiting at the front gate.
"Wei xiong! Jiang xiong!"
There was meng yao at the back with wide eyes.
His heart danced a million strings just by staring at childe Wei after 6 years, he had always made it his wildest dreams to be his dear.
He remembered the times when his father used to bring him to unclean realm to visit the former sect leader {(yes I'm making Jin sect leader nice in this au, though he's still a perv)}, he remembered when he was about 7 and Wei 4, he found the young master adorable. He stuck to his side the whole time.
On his birthday, the first thing he did was to buy a gift, his father knew of his obsession and the fondness his son held towards the young master. Sect leader jin knew for a fact that A-yao among his peers was not the only one, he heard that lan Xichen himself painstakingly took a month prior to the occasion to make a beautiful talisman for the second young master of celestial mountains.
And there he was, right infront of him. Beautiful as the moon.
Nie huaisang ran upto them, hugging Wei Wuxian in the process.
"Wei-xiong! It's good to see you again!",
Nie huaisang was trying to hide his blushing face infront of his good friend. Trying hard to make it look as if his feelings towards him were entirely platonic. And he was failing that too, terribly.
He hugged him close and tight, trying to savor the fragrance of limes and roses and lotuses?
Nie Mingjue finally came out (as gay) to be met with a wave of spiritual energy and when he looked he saw his brother hugging a very pretty guy, he could physically feel the glare that jiang heir was giving his oblivious brother.
"Huaisang." He said making his presence known.
"Ge?!-"
"Greetings sect leader nie" Jiang Wanyin said followed by Wei Ying .
"Greetings Childe Jiang and.."
"Wei wuxian, Childe wei" Wei Wuxian politely said.
Nie Mingjue was embarrassed for calling someone who had once he considered a son, pretty and it was not platonicly. His mind went to thinking how many bad things he could do to the exotic looking beauty.
"This is my advisor, meng yao"
He introduced it to the two childes
"Ah, greetings Childe Jiang, Childe wei" meng yao said.
"Yao-ge, it's good to see you after a long time." Wei Wuxian said, remembering the sweet gege that stuck to him 12 years ago.
"Well we will be heading off, bye Da-ge and brother meng!"
"B-bye huaisang"
