We stop at this lake. I see a big house next to the lake on the other side.
"Hello," an Asian man says.
"Hi, we are going to visit my friend," Ian points to the house.
"Oh yes."
We jump into a small yacht and go the other side.
"Who's your friend?"
Ian ignores my question. We finally get to the house and go in. It is like a summer beach house.
"Hey guys!"
That voice sounds so familiar.
I see Gil coming with Samantha on his side. Samantha hugs me, "How is Mrs. Wilson doing?"
I chuckle, "Fine."
Gil hugs Ian then me. "How are you Alex?"
"Good."
Ian wraps his arm on my waist and pulls me to his side. "So where should we go?"
"I already have the fire going outside. Samantha was wondering if Alex wanted to hang with her for a while," Gil answers.
"Yeah, sure," Ian says. He kisses me quickly and goes with Gil outside.
Samantha giggles and gets me to the couch. "So," she winks, "how was last night?"
"I don't want to be rude but why are you here?" I ask.
Samantha flips her red hair to the side. "Well, I wanted to come to relax and think about my wedding. Then Ian called Gil and asked if he can borrow the house for a day. So Gil thought that it be nice for us to come and host a bar-b-que for you guys."
"Oh okay," I say.
Samantha looks at me, "Are you alright Alex?"
I just nod.
"You don't have that glow after being with the man you love," she says worriedly.
"Oh,"
She notices my attitude and leaves it alone. I know I need to convince people that I am in love with Ian but I can't.
"Okay, how about we go and change into our bathing suits and we talk about this later," Samantha says.
"I didn't bring anything,"
"I lend you one. I think we are the same size."
IAN POV:
We are doing some steaks on the grill waiting for the girls to come out. Gil notices my silence.
"Okay, can you please tell me why you look more depressed than me on Christmas?"
"Why would you be depressed on Christmas?"
"I would be depressed on Christmas because-"
Samantha comes in with a white bikini and high heels.
Gil smirks, "I would definitely be depressed on Christmas if I didn't have this present."
They kiss.
I turn and see Alex shyly coming towards me. She is trying to hide her body with a small towel. I see she has a small black bikini.
I chuckle, "Sam, why didn't you tell me you were going inside the pool?"
"Well, I am sorry. I forgot."
Alex comes to hide behind me. "This is way too small for me. Samantha has smaller boobs than me," she whispers.
"Alex, come on," Samantha yells.
She pulls Alex inside the pool with her.
"Aah!"
Gil chuckles, "Woo!"
Alex comes out and begins to dunk Samantha deeper.
"You know I hate to get wet when I don't want to!"
"You are crazy!" Samantha yells. She comes out of the water almost chocking.
Oh great...
I tell them both to relax and just chill. I make them some margaritas.
"Sorry," Alex says.
"Me too,"
They hug and giggle.
I ignore them and turn my attention to the grill.
"Hey, with all due respect, Alexandra is a pretty girl, very pretty."
"What do you mean?"
Gil chuckles, "She is hot. I didn't know she had that body."
I roll my eyes. Relax Ian; he is just sort of complimenting her.
Gil smirks, "Dude relax, and I don't mean to offend your wife."
"Whatever," I whisper. I open a beer and begin to drink.
We eat, talk, and go inside the pool.
"Okay, so you guys planning on having kids?" Gil asks.
"Nope," Alex quickly answers.
She drinks the rest of the beer and asks for another one. Gil throws me two and I give one to Alex.
"Well, I guess you both want to enjoy life right now," Samantha says.
"Yeah, I still want to live in Spain," I say.
Alex turns to me, "Why?"
"I thought I told you this sweetie. I always wanted to live in Europe," I answer. I kiss her cheek as a way to show Gil and Samantha love.
Alex just nods.
Samantha shrugs and turns her attention to Gil. They begin to kiss.
I look at Alex and she is looking away to the trees.
"We can go," I say.
"Sure," she says.
I tell Gil we are leaving them alone for their playtime. Samantha giggles and waves goodbye to us.
"I'm going to change in Samantha's room," Alex goes goes upstairs.

I change back into my jeans and button shirt. I am sitting down in the living room waiting for Alex. Darn, she takes forever to get ready!
I am pacing back and forth in the living room trying to pass time. Why do girls have to take forever?
I hear a random scream coming from upstairs. Is it Alex?
I go search for Samantha's room. I hear some footsteps but don't see anyone. I see an open door.
I see Alex crying on the bed and rush to her.
"Hey," I ask, "Why are you crying? I didn't do anything wrong."
"Get out!" she yells.
What the hell? Is she really mad at me for no reason?
I calm her down, "Alex, what did I do this time?"
Her eyes show so much fear and anger towards something. Then sudden her eyes show no emotion and she begins to shake.
"Nothing, I was-was just daydreaming."
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Y-yeah, just need air. I was thinking too much about what happened in my wedding. Let's go," she says. She gets my hand and we quickly walk to the car.
Okay, something is so different. She hops in the Jeep and locks herself in the seat.

It's a very quiet drive. Alex is just staring out the window with no saying. She isn't even complaining about how cold it is.
"Okay, we are here," I tell her.
She nods and runs to the house. I go in and hear the shower going. I guess she doesn't like for her hair to get ugly.
I wait for her to finish so I can shower as well. I see her shadow going inside her room like a zombie.
ALEX POV:
I just want to die...
Next day:
I feel so tired. I couldn't get enough sleep at all. The scene kept repeating inside my head over and over again.
I hear my door open and then footsteps.
"Alex, what did I go wrong?" Ian asks.
I am facing the glass doors so it seems like I am still sleeping.
He pets my hair slowly. "I hope you are okay. I also hope I am not responsible for your anger right now."
I feel something in my nose. Darn, wait, "Achoo!"
I sneeze so hard that Ian jumps.
"God bless you," Ian says.
"Thanks."
"Morning,"
I look at him, "Leave my room."
He nods and goes away.
I can't help it but to cry. It was my first. He knew it.
Why did he do that? Why!?
