Preston's PoV
I pick up my phone to see a small text from rob. ARE YOU OKAY?
It reads. I reply.
P: yes I guess.
R: no you're not. Tell me what's wrong.
P: i don't know, I just feel as for no reason.
R: I'm coming over.
P: no don't worry about it.
Minutes later rob doesn't reply. I continue to look at my phone, seein if rob replied or even read it. He didn't. It kind if made me upset.
The doorbell rings a I slowly get up, forgetting rob was comin over.
"Hello?" I answer the door, depressed and lonely.
"AYE PRESTON!" I hear a familiar voice. I look up to see rob, wearing a red ball on his nose. I laugh a little.
"I knew it would make you chuckle." He says, taking it off and holding up his pizza. "Thought this might cheer you up too."
I take the pizza from him and set it on the coffee table in the living room. Rob follows, closing the door behind him. "Thanks." I say. I sit on the couch and open the pizza box "sit!" I command him and rob sit next to me. We both take a few pieces and I mumble something I hope he didn't hear.
It was three words and it meant the world to me.
