"the view sure is amazing up here." i heard preston whisper.

"i know, i am pretty amazing." i quoted, joking around.

Preston laughed "wow rob, you sure are full of yourself, but the view and you are pretty amazing."

I chuckle. "thats why you love me." i lbush as i quickly lay the blanket onto the grassy hill. we hiked all day so i could take preston on a romantic picnic for our six month anniversary. its cheesy, i know, kind of like the cheese i put on the ham sandwiches i packed earlier in the basket. i also put grapes in there too.

"yes, thats why i love you." he sits down on the blanket and sets the basket in the middle. "whjy does it have to be so hot?" preston exclaimed, stripping to his short sleeved shirt.

"its texas, what else did you expect?" i chuckled. "do you want to do this in the winter instead?" i asked, knowing the obvious answer.

"yes." preston joked. i opened the picnic basket to grab some grapes. i quickly put a few in my mouth and feed the rest to preston. we eat a couple sandwiches, then lay back into the tall grass, staring at the light blue sky. "this is beautiful. thanks robbie." preston smiles.

"youre welcome." i say smiling. i reach in for the kiss. our lips brush but then i pull back, "first one down the hill wins." i say, as i roll down the hill.

"hey! no fair!" preston called after me, rolling downthe hill behind me. he takes the lead halfway down and wins. he snickers. "so what does the winner get?" he asked seductivly.

"the winner gets to kiss the loser." i reply, waiting for him to kiss me. eventually he does.
