She ran to school. Being late for the first day is a bad impression on the teacher, especially for her graduating student.
She was being mistreated by her stepsister, making her wash her clothes together with her stepmother, she does all the chores in their house.
Ever since his father died because of the fire that happened at his office, he couldn't escape making sure that his employees are safe before keeping his safety first. The foundation collapsed and trapped her father inside.
Since then, she has full authority over the things his father left behind, but when she is at a legal age, she can claim it by then.
"Aist! I didn't even get to iron my clothes.. darn that sister of mine!" She murmured as she ran to the bus station
She was panting as she reached the last bus.
She saw her friend and accompanied her as she sat down beside her, so exhausted.
"Yah! Get off me," she said as she pushed her head away from her shoulder.
"Wipe your sweat first.. you're stinky" her friend covers her nose
"I am still your friend" She was sad about it, but she then wiped all the sweat in her face
"Did she give you a hard time again?" Her friend sensed it when she entered the bus with her hair flying and entangling each other
"Here," her friend gave her a mirror and a comb to fix herself from getting embarrassed on the first day of school
"Thank you," she said

"We are getting late" she pulled her friend even though she doesn't want to run.
"Yah! Stop it.. enjoy walking. We are not late.. we are actually 5 minutes early," she said as she smacks her friend.
"Oh really?" Her mood quickly changed, and she just smiled out of awkwardness, her dimples were appearing, but her eyes were quite disappearing
"Let me just put some makeup on your face. You're making me embarrassed" her friend opened her bag as she scanned some cosmetics.
"Yah! Nevermind... I don't want to look pretty," she said as she pushed her friend's bag close.
"It's your choice," she said as she slips her on on hers
As they take their step to the entrance, a familiar car appeared and was like accompanying them to the fountain
The car's window was going down as a familiar face appeared in front of them.
It's Heeseung, the meanie as they call him because all of his facial reactions were deadly and serious. Not even a single laugh will appear in public.
"Yah! Your skirt is entangled with your bag... Your panties might show up" he grinned as the windows roll up again.
That made me look at my back and saw what he is talking about. She quickly fixed it .to cover her private part fully.
"You didn't tell me!" She slapped her friend's shoulder
"I'm sorry I didn't know" she rubs the back of her head
Avy's POV
I can't believe he saw that
My footsteps were getting heavier as I reached the hallway to my locker. I saw Heeseung and his friends were gathered up just 5 lockers away from mine.
I covered my face with my book and headed to my locker as I formed my locker numbers. I opened it as I finally put my book down and breathed comfortably, but a handsome guy slammed my locker, and a familiar face appeared in front of me.
"Avy~~ I miss you," he pouted as I rolled my eyes at him
"I'm busy, Jay.. can you get yourself out in front of me?" I crossed my arms
Park Jay was my suitor since highschool. He never gives up on courting me. I think it has been 5-6 years since he tried so hard to court me. He even visited my house when father was alive, not now because my stepmother hates it when some boy is looking for me, not her daughter
"Can't you be more considerate of me?" He acted cute in front of me, but I cast him a sharp glance that made him opened my locker
"What's your section?" He asked as he pulled the piece of paper I had in my hands, where my schedule and section was presented there
"I can't believe it!!! We're classmates," he cheered as he jumps over and over out of excitement
"Snap out of it. You're gathering so much attention to us" I put my head in the locker
"Us?? Hehe... I like that" he smiled.
"Don't think about it" I punched him in his stomach, a soft punch though
He laughed
"Jay~ Let's go," Sunghoon called him out "stop that.. first thing in the morning, and it's the first day of school. Stop bothering her," he shouted.
"I will continue to bother her as long as she says yes to me," he shouted back to his friend, which gathered a lot of attention from all the students here.
I feel so embarrassed as I covered myself from my bag and planned to go away from this crazy bafoon slowly
"Where are you going?" Jay grabbed my bag and pulled me to him
Thanks to Sunoo, he let go of me, and I escaped. He actually pulled his ear and dragged him back to his group
"Why'd you do that to me? We are friends," he said as he holds on to his ear
"You're getting to my nerves again.. last time, you always embarrass yourself in front of her.. now I am worried because of your overconfidence" Sunoo crossed his arms
"Yah! This time is really different from last year. I can feel it," he said
"You told that last year" Jake started laughing
"It's really, really, really different now... I can really feel it" he crossed his arms.
"You told that last last last year," Jongwon told us as his dimples are showing up.
"Just hear me out, I---" everyone stopped him from creating his own imagination.
"Blah blah blah.. now let's go on with our practices... Heeseung Hyung... Let's go?" Jungwon hang himself on his neck and let go right away when Heeseung formed his eagle eyes
