Kate's Pov
She took me to her apartment as she grabbed a few things from her room as I wait downstairs. Seems like just yesterday I was here, these disturbing memories. I felt like I didn't want to be here. I then started shaking and remembering what went on here. It was like my entire soul started shaking in fear.
I then felt Jane's arms around me as she hugs me from behind.
"I won't hurt you Kate and I won't let anyone hurt you" She says as she hugs me from behind.
I then stopped trembling. I felt such warmth from that hug. How could someone so cold give me such warm hugs?
"Let's go Kate" She says as she leads me to the elevator.
I followed her inside but still had this gloomy look on my face. I was snapped back to reality when I saw her press the 'S' floor.
"Aren't we supposed to be going down?" I ask.
"That's what she said" Says Jane as I burst out laughing.
"We're going on the roof" She says to me.
"Are you going to push me off?" I ask.
"No Kate just trust me" She says as she smiles. We then enter the roof as I saw a helicopter waiting.
"We're going in a helicopter?" I ask as my eyes widen.
"Yes Ms. Williams, see the world through my eyes" Says Jane.
"I've never been on a helicopter before" I say as my eyes sparkle.
"I'll be your first in everything Kate" She says as she takes my hand and leads me into the helicopter.
"Where's the pilot?" I ask confused.
"Right here" She says as she sits in the pilots seat.
"You can fly this thing?" I say surprised.
"I'm the jack of all trades" She says as she flips some switches.
"I'm suddenly excited" I smile as she smiled.
"This is the Sky Dragon, reading for take-off" Says Jane into the mic.
"Sky Dragon you can go ahead" Says the guy from the speaker.
"Sky Dragon?" I say snickering.
"Leave Wendy alone" Says Jane as she pouts.
"You named your helicopter, Wendy the Sky Dragon?" I ask.
"Yes and it's never failed me" She says as she continues to pout.
"That's amazing, I like it" I smile as she gave me a shocked look.
"It's so random, usually people would laugh at it" Says Jane.
"I'm not laughing, I can't wait for my weirdness to rub off on you, until I turn you into a full on weirdo" I smile as she takes off.
We were then in the air as I watch in amazement through the window. This sight was incredible. I was so amazed by it, it was beautiful, being up here and seeing down below. Is this what she meant by seeing the world through her eyes? It was a play on words wasn't it? You didn't mean it literally didn't you Jane? Seeing the world through your eyes is basically seeing the way you live it.
She sped through the sky as I smile seeing all the clouds and birds, lakes and streams, everything is visible up here.
"We're almost there" She says.
"We have to take the helicopter to Caracallie Island?" I ask.
"Not quite" She says.
I then saw a sign saying "Crimson Hotel" as she headed towards it.
"A hotel?" I ask as she made her way to land.
"Yup. Here has the only helipad in the town we're in, we have to land here to get to our next destination" She says.
"Next destination?" I ask.
"You'll see" She says as she leads me to the hotel elevator.
It was about 12:20PM and I was starving, all I had this morning was my coffee.
"Jane. I'm hungry" I say to her.
"So am I, we're heading to the restaurant in the hotel" She says.
"What? Restaurant? I'm not dressed for the occasion" I say as the elevator door open.
"It's fine, I booked the restaurant so it's just us" She says as she leads me to the restaurant.
"Just like that huh?" I ask snickering.
"Just like that Ms. Williams" Smiled Jane.
"I'll have the caviar and the fish fillet with a side of onion rings" Says Jane.
"What about you miss?" Says the waiter as he turns to me.
"She'll have the same" Says Jane.
"I have a cheeseburger and some fries" I smile as I hand the waiter my menu as I stare at Jane and smiled.
"Right. Sorry" She says laughing.
We then had a glass of wine as our food came, Jane grabbed a fork and a knife as I grabbed the cheeseburger with my bare hands and pushed it right into my mouth.
"Have you heard of etiquette?" Jane says to me.
"I have etiquette but not right now. I'm too hungry to worry about that" I say to her as she smiles.
"You truly are an amusing girl" Says Jane as she laughs.
We finished up our lunch and headed outside where a car was waiting. I then see Taylor awaiting us outside.
"Taylor's here?" I ask.
"Yes. This is his hometown" Says Jane.
"Taylor!" I say in excitement.
"Ms. Williams, How are you?" Says Taylor as he opens the car door.
"I'm good. How have you been?" I say to him.
"I've been well" He smiled.
"Where are you taking me now?" I say to Jane.
"Caracallie Island" She says.
"So we drive to Caracallie Island?".I ask.
"Patience is a virtue" She smiles using my own technique against me as I pout.
We then head out and about 10 minutes after we reach a harbor as Taylor pulled in.
"No way, we're taking a boat?" I ask.
"Not quite a boat but sure" Smiled Jane as she leads me outside.
"Have a great time you two" Says Taylor as he departs. We then stop at the dock where I see a boat.
"Oh my god. This isn't a boat" I say as I smile.
"Close. It's a yacht" Teases Jane as she leads me on board.
"Nice to see you Ms. Connor" Says a man as he welcome's us.
"Mr. Dretcher, how is Olympia doing?" Asks Jane.
"You named it Olympia?" I ask.
"Yes, Leviathan of Olympia" She says.
"Leviathan means sea beast and Olympia means treasure" I say.
"See I knew a nerd would figure that out" She teased.
"Well I'll leave you be. She's ready to go" Says the man.
"She? Isn't Leviathan of the male species and if their going then whose gonna steer this?" I say.
"Yes he is a she" She teased.
"I don't like that your out-weirding me" I pout.
"Weirding is not a word Ms. Degree in English" Teased Jane.
She then gave me a tour of her yacht. It was beautiful, one deck and a stairway leading upstairs where you can get a great view. Below deck was her bedroom and of course she has satin sheets and a marble bathroom.
"Are you ready to continue our adventure?" She smiles.
"Sure. Let's go" I smile at her.
As we head to Caracallie Island I didn't know what to expect. It's been amazing so far and something told me I would enjoy Caracallie Island the most.
