Early in the morning, Jamie was peacefully slept on the sofa until he heard a strange sound coming behind him that wake him up.
Jamie stopped as his eyes fell on the gem watching over him "Garny?!"
Garny: Yes Jamie~?
Jamie: What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be on Garnet's lessons?
Garny: I am but I would've liked if you were the one on my lessons.
Jamie was confused before he remembered that he is now a teacher at little homeschool and a mailman.
Jamie: Ouh...right. Let me see the list first off.
Garny: A list?
Jamie: yeah I have much to do as a mailman, as an actor and now as a teacher at your homeschool. But I had to make a list on which day I can do what in case I forget or wouldn't make in time.
Garny: I understand.

In Steven's bathroom, he uses Diamond aura potions and his healing spit on the water of his bathtub to heal a corrupted Gem named Cherry Quartz, who is very confused about what happened to her.
Steven: Happy welcome back day!
CQ: Where am I?! Who are you?
Steven: Used to be a loa of questions but I am Steven Universe! And this is my bathroom
Cherry looked around confused at her new appearance and the at plunger which she mistook as a weapon.
CQ: What is this?!
Steven: Uhm haha this is a plunger... and you were corrupted but you are now healed. Now let's fill you in on what you missed.
CQ: Missed?
Right then Jamie arrived at the beach house with Garny following him.
Steven: Ouh Jamie,Garny!
Jamie: Hey Steven! How are-
JAmie couldn't finish his sentence as then Quartz gem (with plunger still in her hands) jumped on Garny
CQ: ENEMY!!
Garny: What?! Get off me you Quartz!
Jamie and Steven then tried to restrain Quartz as Garny(with plunger on her face) held her hands off
Steven: Stop she's not an enemy! The war is over!
CQ: Huh?!
Jamie: Crystal Gem rebellion won!
Quartz slowly but surely released Garny
CQ: We did?! Where is everybody?
Steven: That's what I'm about to show you.

Jamie: Steven can we come with you?
Steven: Of course...why did you come here by the way?
Garny: My Jamie decided it would be good if we give you a proper gratitde for his current position?
Steven was confused and looked at Jamie for a response
Jamie: I wanted to give you and the gems some chocolate cake....thogh they wouldn't eat it I guess
Steven: Woah really? Thanks. Don't worry I think Amethyst would be more than eager for that. C'mon the let's go!

Life is really different these days. The diamonds ended their reign, the war is officially over and earth is an independent planet.
Everyone is safe.... or considering the events in previous month....safe enough to explore their dreams.
I am honestly still shaken at the memory of little homeschool siege as well as rouge gems attacking my friends but I am in a good mood right now and feel much better after Otar's celebration, Connie's reassurance and Jamie's morale support which helped ease his worries.
'Luckily today will go safe and smooth.'
Steven: And here we are!
CQ: Where are we?
Steven: Welcome to little homeschool! Here you have a chance to rediscover yourself!
Quartz looked around and I noticed Jamie did too although wluncomfortably.
Steven: Hey is everything alright?
Jamie: Well I'm good...it's just that my visits here were surrounded by either a poisoned air or ground breaking earthquakes.
Steven: Believe me I understand... but hey you are not here to be pessimistic remember?
Jamie: Right!

Garny: So what can you teach me?
Jamie: My first day is tomorrow Garny. Be patient, here Garnet can teach you some lessons.
Garny: An inferior gem?
Jamie: Garny stop. Gems are not like that anymore. There are no superiors here. And if I'm being honest, she may have lost once but you only won bc you caught her by surprise. In short you never fought her in a fair fight.
Garny was confused. 'A fair fight?' Now that she thought about it, her foe wasn't fully in her prime which means.....
Garny: WE.MUST.HAVE.A.REMATCH.
Jamie: huh? What's with that all of a sudden?
Garny: My Jamie I promise that I would prove my true valor in a real fight this time.
Jamie: What? Wait where are you?
Jamie couldn't finish as Garny soon left to who knows where.
Jamie: Aah for real? Is that how an anime hero or an average citizen feel when they gain royal servants?
Amethyst: You watch them too?
Jamie jumped a little "AAH stop don't do that"

Amethyst took the cake as she swallowed it whole in her mouth much to Jamie's surprise.

Steven: Well i did say she'd be interested.

Moonstone quickly hugged the mailman

Moonstone: Everything is great. This place is amazing!

MS: Cherry?! You're back!

Moonstone: We were friends during the gem war. I thought you were shattered
CQ: It will take more than that to take me out!
Jamie: I believe you have much to talk about so we will leave ok?

Ame: Aah this cake was very great and this school idea is even cooler. I like being a teacher. No one looked up to me before you know except for a little steman!
Steven: Hahaha right.

Amethyst blushily smiled "hah thanks but seriously everyone is coming to learn an earthly culture.
Steven: Eh not everyone

Steven: It's about Jasper. She doesn't want to learn at little homeschool.

Steven: I know it's not my fault but if there is a chance I can help I should try you know?
Amethyst: Ste-man you can't fix everone.

Jamie: Haah well listen what if we try to talk to her again together this time.

Jaime: Amethyst she is like a sister to you remember? She did come with us on that party you know?
Amethyst: Hmh well you can try but really she failed on her 'sis' part spectacularly.

On the outskirts of Beach City, Steven walks through a forest until he reaches a cave, trying to find the Gem who refuses to attend the school. Before he can walk near it, someone interrupts him. The gem is revealed to be Jasper, who is shown to destroy every living Earthling that invades her space, including the grass.
Jasper: HOLD IT!
Jaime: Jasper it's us!
Jasper: I know it's you Jamie but what does he want here this time?
Steven: I just want to talk.
Jasper: What?
Jasper noticed the small insect entering her territory and was about to smash it before Jamie jumped in to put it off in the forest
Jasper: And why did you do that?
Jaime: Well it's out of your territory right?
Jasper huffed as she picked up the rock
Steven: Why do you even have that?
Jasper: Training.
Jamie: Uhm but is there anyone to fight?
Jasper: Jamie if you don't remember the previous attack on you little school, there is always someone to fight just no one worth it. Not unless I meet that green organic again somewhere.
Steven: You mean the Hulk?
Jasper: I don't know their names.
Steven: In that case you might wanna learn them at little homeschool?
Jasper: I already said no.
Steven: C'mon we're all growing together and you can join in.
Jasper: Like I said it's dumb.
Steven: you know that half those gems fought by your side before they into monsters. They are lost and confused, wouldn't you want to help your comrades?
Jasper: And who cares?
Steven: I and Jamie do! We do! I'd we didn't care you'de still be a lonely monster too!!
Jasper: so what I owe you! I never asked of your healing help! Like all other gems you use!
Steven grew frustrated as he couldn't understand what was wrong with Jasper
SU: Graah we came here because we felt bad for you. But you know what? All of THIS is your own fault, all gems got corrupted by diamonds but you corrupted yourself just to win a battle that you've lost to ME!!!
Jamie started to notice some pink colors on Steven
SU: no one asks you to be here all alone waiting for a war that is already over.! Are you gonna stay here for centuries on end? Waiting for someone to give you a purpose. Well I'm trying to give you one!
Jasper was reaching the peak of her patience as well
"Listen weakling...you may have her gem but you ARE NOT MY DIAMOND. And I'm not taking orders from a sappy piece of dirt"
Jamie was ready to intervene if necessary. Thankfully he took his sword just in case.
Jasper: you think you are hard enough to tell ME what to do? Fight me and prove it!
Out of anger, Steven agrees, which pleasantly surprises "FINE!"
Jasper turned to him excited "REALLY? CAN I KILL YOU?!"
Steven and Jamie looked at her in a puzzled yet annyoed expression
Jamie: Yeah it will be tough with her.
Jasper: You better know it will be. Don't interfere Jamie, this is between me and this weakling .
He throws the first punch, but as the fight progresses Jasper gains the upper hand and taunts Steven
Steven: I won't give up on helping everyone even you!
Jasper: I DONT NEED YOUR HELP. You're the one who needs it! Think you beat me? You never beat me on your own!
She mocks him by telling him that he is only strong because of the assistance he gets from his friends and that he is nothing without them.
Then, Steven's skin turns pink, giving him the strength to break free of Jasper's grasp and win the fight by smashing her through several trees and into the ground.
Steven: I AM NOT PITIFUL!!!
Impressed, Jasper laughs and says she didn't think he had it in him.
Jamie: 'What was that? That's like when I used my powers against Garny or Hulk. I guess it makes sense that Steven can do that too'.
Steven: I...I'm sorry for that
Jasper:Gah don't apologise
Steven: You know maybe I have something to learn from you too?
Jasper moved her eyebrow a bit curious at his words
Steven: Ever thought of being a teacher?
Jasper: At your crumpy school again?

Jasper: Listen consider that fight your first and only lesson.
Steven: So can we visit you?

Jamie and Steven make their way back home while repairing the damage from Steven and Jasper's fight.
Jamie: Sorry if nothing came out of this.
Steven: Not really. I did learn something from this you know.
Jaime: Really. And that is?
Steven: There are fundamental things about ourselves that we know to be true. It's important you remember those things in tough situations but you have to rememberthat you can surpriseyourself too.
Jaime: Yes your meaning?
SU: well I thought I figured myself out but I still have more to learn apparently. Man life is a wonderful mystery am I right?
Jaime: heh indeed and here I thought I'm the only master of poetry.
Steven: Well I learned from the best
