Lapis took hold of the great green beast, trying to hold it down with water chains from a lake but the vile creature clapped it's hands, sending massive waves against the water gem.
Bismuth, who was buried in the ground, finally got out and jumped towards it, knocking it to the ground but the creature retaliated and kicked Bismuth off before it went for the big rock nearby
Lapis: PUMPKIN!
The said pumpkin dog then ran away as fast as she could from the raging monster that threw the boulder in pumpkin's direction. But Jasper was quick enough to move her out of the way "You need to be faster than that monster!"
That only made it more angry as the monster roared 'GRAAAAAAHHH' and smashed it's hands to the ground with big force, creating cracks before the monster heard screams coming little homeworld and went straight to the source of these screams.
Bismuth: HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!
Lapis: It's going for little homeschool! C'mon!
Things just got even more complicated and in this critical situation a quartz soldier had one thing to think about 'Why did I get mixed in all of this?'
Good morning to Jasper although Jasper does not like that. Jasper's entire existence was full of two things: battle and hardships.
Jasper is not your typical quartz. She had a certain viciousness which seperated her from other Quartz soldiers and in her mind, strength means everything but right now she isn't so firm in that.
It all began three years ago found herself in a very confusing and somewhat scary situation after being healed by the diamonds, she sees Steven, whom she believes to be the disguised Rose Quartz hanging out eith the diamonds? And not too long after, she had to form and process the fact that Ros was her leader Pink Diamond whose gemstone Steven has but he isn't her diamond.
Jasper was shocked as the person she wanted to avenge for all these years was her very enemy she despised.
She refused to think like this and wanted to take her mind off of this, to feel something better than a conflict swirling in her mind.
At this point she was still obssesed with all those corrupted scars and fusions so she needed someone at her side.
In her mind, since everyone is now so forgiving , she can have some fusion chance with a certain gem and it definitely was NOT Steven or Amethyst though Jasper felt strange at little quartz acting non hostile to her after everything (and calling her 'sis' which she still didn't understand).
Instead Jasper went to one gem she had a very rocky relationship in the past: Lapis Lazuli.
Jasper approached Lapis of course and tried to cut up a conversation, trying to gain forgiveness to reclaim theor fusion as Malachite. And let's just say that not only lapis would't go along with this, she won't even want to talk to Jasper which is an understatement due to some previous toxicity between them. That's not easy to move on from so she doesn't plan to make amends.
Jasper however just won't have it and was very persistent which didn't help, it only made Lapis even more scared. But before things get worse a certain rainbow gem warriot intervenes.
Bismuth doesn't have tolerance for harassment, especially if it involves her friends. Bismuth grew closer to Lapis and Peridot over the events of their adventure to homeworld and constructing homeschool together over the old barn place.
And before anyone knew it, the two gems were throwing hands but sadly for Bismuth, Jasper is a very skilled fighter as a kindergarden quartz.
So it was the close battle but ultimately Jasper got the upper hand and poofed Bismuth. Jasper then picks up and squeezes the gem but looks at a frightened Lapis and walks away unable to feel any point from all of this, dropping Bismuth.
The other Crystal Gems were disturbed after Bismuth got poofed and Jasper is reprimanded to stay away from either Lapis or Peridot(who Jasper had close relation with).
And Jasper did stay away, away from Lapis, Steven, Crystal Gems and from everyone all together living in the forest which she permited all organic lives to enter and where she constantly trained her powers.
That is until she crossed paths with a small human delivering some paper pieces a few months ago.
?:Uhm hey
Jasper: No organic is allowed on my territory
?: Your's since when?
Jasper: Ugh all of you humans are so weak and even stupid huh?!
?: Uuh first off I just asked a question. Second I came here before for my friend's deliveries and now you are telling me this?
Jasper for a moment felt a desire to throw that human far away but was confused.
Jasper: What is a friend? Is there another human on my territory?!
?: Listen calm down you can't be angry all the time 'mam.
Jasper: My name is JASPER and I'm tired of all your words nonsense.
?: Eh sorry but words are beautiful and full of varients. A friend for example means someone who is close to you and who you can trust even with your life. Don't you have anyone like that?
Jasper: Hmph I don't need anyone to help me.
?: Ouh that's really absurd
Jasper glared at a human who gulped but still voiced his opinion to her surprise.
?: I can't agree with you because everyone needs someone in their lives to show them that world isn't so bad or to comfort them in the time of lonliness.
Jasper scowled at that "Someone in my life? I don't even have that anymore"
A human looked at her saddened yet also angry face
?: Well I can be your friend if you want.
Jasper was annoyed to hear this. She heard such things from Steven before and now this?
Jasper: Aren't you afraid? It's the best thing you are good at.
?: Perhaps but I dare to disagree
A human then packed his papers and went his way "I think I should go now, I'll try to visit you later Jasper!"
Jasper: Don't push your luck!
And with that, he left. She couldn't help but feel that part of her liked his 'company' and that was annying too.
After he left, Jasper thought to herself. 'A line I shouldn't cross' he said
She remembered fear on Lapis' face when she poofed the blacksmith gem and how down she felt after that.
The other morning Jasper albeit reluctant, decided to go to little homeworld to try and talk to Lapis again. She couldn't find her though nor Peridot, she realised something was wrong as she couldn't find any gems at all.
But she did find someone, a smaller orange organic she rememebered to be Lapis' pet or something.
She could easily crush this small animal but for some reason she just didn't want to and was in no mood for that. Pumpkin dog though was not afraid to run around her.
Jasper: *sighs* Didn't Lapis tell you to stay away from me?
Pumpkin only smiled in response as she made eye contact with Jasper who formed a smirk "Well well little soldier seems to have it's own mind if you don't listen to orders"
Jasper liked that as she she also used to be loyal however would go against orders if necessary.
That loveable moment was interrupted unfortunately
"Get away from Pumpkin"
Jasper turned to see Bismuth, fists ready for some action. "Should've known you wouldn't learn the hard way"
Jasper: Hmph neither do you apparently.
Then the fight broke out between the two knce again, but this time Jasper tried to go easier on the blacksmith so she mainly blocked and dodged.
Lapis then arrived minutes later on her wings to see Bismuth & Jasper fighting "What is going on here?!"
But before Jasper could say something, all of them heard a loud growl from a distance. It was menacing and chaotic. A scared pumpkin dog hides behind the big boulder nearby.
?: WOAAAAAAHH!
A big, green, monstrous creature landed right in front of them leaving a giant hole in the ground.
The monster looked at them with crazy and enraged eyes as it marched towards them.
