"Okay, sweetheart," Wonwoo came a little closer again, causing the distance between us to gradually get smaller.
I stood there paralized, not knowing that to do in this kind of situation, while his hand moved slowly under my chin to lift it up a little.
He leaned even further down towards me and let me feel his warm breath on my face. A mischievous smile crept into his face shortly afterwards.
"You better tell us who you work for, otherwise we'll have to take you to our boss and trust me, he'll be anything but gentle with you."
The boy was now so close to me that the tips of our noses almost touched and I felt every single muscle in me burning with rage.
I tried to restrain myself with all my strength, but the caged animal inside of me was beating so hard against my own chest that for a split second I my impulsive and rash side won over.
Without hesitating I got a little closer and I couldn't help but spit directly into the guy's damn face.
His stupid grin disappeared in an instance while his eyes closed for a few seconds as he took a few deep and furious breaths.
The other guys just watched him in shock, if not slightly amused, as the boy finally took the end of his hoodie to wipe the spit off his face.
"You little motherfucker," he laughed with a fake smile, taking a few steps back while provocatively pressing his tongue against the inside of his cheek.
"Remember, my actions are your fault."
I couldn't even react to his comment as his ruthless grin reappeared and he raised his right fist in the same second.
Before I knew it, the guy swung his arm forward and rammed his fist right into my face.
An incredible pain exploded in my left cheek and I could feel my lip tear a bit from the sudden impact.
Yelping, my body hit the hard floor below me, my hand instinctively reaching out for my aching cheek.
I could clearly feel that all of my self-control was standing right in front of a cliff, just waiting to be hit by a light breeze and let my rage take over.
A hateful tingling sensation ran through my entire body, while the blood from my lip found its way into my mouth, leaving a disgusting taste of metal.
"What did I tell you," Wonwoo laughed spiteful before grabbing the collar of my top and lifting me slightly from the floor.
His eyes sparkled full of madness as he greedily licked his lips.
"Go to hell", I hissed at him unimpressed and tried to free myself from his grip.
The boy in front of me only chuckled again, tightening his hold on my clothes.
"It seems like you haven't had enough."
"Your judgement is way off then."
I could see the boy clenching his right hand into a fist again,ready to give me another punch, but this time my body finally reacted.
At the same moment my own hand reached out for the hidden blade in my jacket, my fingertips brushing against the cool and heavy metal.
I was ready to let go.
I was ready to risk it all and finally let my inner rage run lose, in order to get myself out of this critical situation and maybe kick some ass during the process.
My hands grabbed the knife in an instance, but before Wonwoo could strike again or I could even stab him with my weapon, sudden deafening shots rang out, breaking through the heavy and serious atmosphere.
Without hesitating the SVT member let go of me and tired to cover himself shortly after. My body instanly dropped to the ground, causing another sharp pain to run through every nerve in my limbs.
"Who is that?" Jeonghan now shouted over the countless shooting sounds while he pressed his back close to the van behind him, pulling a gun out of his own jacket.
While the three gang members looked at each other with questioning and slightly panicing faces, I slid further away from them, being one hundred percent sure about who must be interfering in their plan.
No doubt, it had to be DRGNS who wanted to rescue me out of my damn-
"It's those fucking bastards from NCT!"
