About a Month Later - Ray's POV
"RAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" I hear Tara squeal from the bottom of the dorm house while I sit in my room on the 5th floor with headphones on and music blaring.
"What the shit?" I asked shocked.
I pull my headphones down onto my shoulders and I stop my music.
My door is bust open and Tara looks at me.
"Bakugou wants me to take you shopping right now." She says to me excited.
"Why?" I ask her.
She just grins. "I can't tell ya." Tara says to me.
I nod. "Ok, I'm gonna get dressed real quick then." I say as I get up.
I get changed into my black sweater and black jeans with my black flat boots.
Tara drags me out of the dorm house and to the mall.
I see Gamestop and I walk into there while Tara was distracted.
I look around for a game to play.
"Come on you." Tara says pulling me out of the store.
"Hey!" I yell at her and she laughs.
She drags me along to dress shop and I just watch unamused.
"We can go back to Gamestop, after you pick out a nice dress for yourself." Tara bribes me.
I pout, but I look around. "Not cool Tara." I mutter and she laughs.
I find a dark blue lace dress that has a small trail, it's off shoulder with a sweetheart neckline.
I go try it on because Tara wouldn't leave me alone about a dress.
Once I know it fits, I choose it, still pouting.
I look for a pair of heels, finding nothing interesting so I'll see what I have back at the dorms.
I pay and then I head straight to Gamestop while Tara watches me amused.
I look around for a new game and I find one, I pick up new controllers for my switch as well since I've been playing with it too much and the controllers are wearing out.
I pay for them and I leave.
"Happy now?" Tara asks me amused.
"No one takes me away from Gamestop." I say to her and she laughs.
We head back to the dorm house and I get dressed in my room, finding a pair of dark blue two inch heels.
I sit down on my table and Tara does my hair, leaving two parts in my face while she pulls the rest of the crown up into a small pony tail and fluffs it a bit.
Tara pulls the pony tail two different ways and tightens it. "There." Tara says to me.
"Ok." I say and I start on my make up, its just simple eye liner with light pink lipstick.
I grab my small black purse to put my phone into.
The door gets knocked on and Tara opens it as I put on the heels.
"Oh, Bakugou, Ray is,"
"Done." I say as I walk up behind her.
Me and Katsu look at each other I look him up and down, he's in a black vest with a red dress shirt on underneath with black dress pants. His hair is a bit more tame than usual but he looks handsome.
I stop working properly when I see the vest that looks hot on him.
Tara snickers.
Katsu smirks and he pulls me in for a kiss.
I kiss him and then his cheek, ending up leaving a mark on his cheek.
Katsu smirks at me. "Gorgeous." He says to me and I smile as I look up at him.
We head into the elevator and once it closes, my face burns since I've been trying to hide it.
Katsu lets me hide my face in his back when Mina jumps in with Ocha on the fourth floor.
"Why does Ray look embarrassed?" Mina asks confused.
Katsu takes one of my hands that's around his waist and holds it.
Mina snickers. "Ray, your ears are red." Mina says to me.
"She's just like Deku, she just hides it." Ocha says amused.
Once we hit the ground floor, Katsu leads me out of the elevator and I walk beside him with my arm around his.
Dad walks past and then stops to look at us and he looks at Katsu. "Be back before midnight." Dad says to us and we nod.
"Wow, Mom is beautiful." Denki says surprised.
Katsu tchs at him.
I keep Katsu next to me so he doesn't kill Denki.
We head outside and its cold.
Katsu notices that I forgot a scarf and he makes me stand in the door way of out dorm house.
He comes back with my scarf and ear muffs.
He puts them on me while I watch him amused.
We proceed to continue our date.
"Is there a special occasion Katsu?" I ask him.
He smirks and noses my cheek. "No, but I wanted to do something with you outside the dorm house." Katsu says to me and I smile and I lean into his side as we walk, his arm around my shoulder as I hold that hand.
"I love you Katsu." I say to him with a smile.
Katsu smiles at me. "I love you too Ray." He says and he nuzzles my cheek again.
We see people we recognize and he scowls at them and they look away.
We first head to a restaurant that we've been talking about going too for a while. Its an asian restaurant with supposedly a buffet.
We head inside and its warm in here, to which I like.
Katsu decides he's gonna pay and I pout slightly, but he just smirks.
We get shown to a booth and we set out stuff down.
"I wonder what there is to eat." I comment as we walk to the buffet.
Katsu nods in agreement and we get there and I look around with Katsu behind me.
He makes me eat a balanced plate since I wanted just bourbon rice and chicken, he put veggies in it with a good amount of bourbon.
"I have to figure out how to make the chicken like this." I say as I look at it.
"We could do that together tomorrow after grocery shopping." Katsu comments and I feel warm inside with a flustered feeling.
I kiss Katsu's cheek and he smirks.
I follow him as he puts food on his plate and we both get a small bowl of fruit.
We then head back to our booth and we set our plates down. We then find the drink area.
I get sweet tea while Katsu gets water.
We head back to the booth while ignoring the stalker.
We set our drinks down and we sit down across from each other.
"We have a little stalker." I comment as I start to eat my rice.
"Yeah, it pisses me off." Katsu grumbles quietly.
"They'll reveal themselves at some point." I say to Katsu who just huffs.
We eat while talking quietly about the restaurant.
When we're done with dinner, we leave and I smile as I hold his arm while walking with him, looking around.
We walk through a park that has fairy lights up and I look around at the scenery and my eyes land on Katsu as we walk, the stalker gone.
Katsu looks at me and he grins, to which my heart flutters.
Katsu stops in the center of a clearing, surrounded by fairy lights and I stand in front of him.
I look up at him and music starts playing and I smile as Katsu holds his hand out to me.
I take his hand and he pulls me to his chest as he rocks back and forth.
I rest my head on his shoulder as his head rests on mine as we step back and forth.
"I love you Katsu." I say to him quietly.
Katsu hums quietly. "Ray," he starts as he pulls back.
Katsu pulls a box out of his pocket and I watch him as he opens it to reveal two silver ring bands.
He pulls out the smaller one and he looks at me. "This is a promise Ray, when we're 18, I'll do it properly and propose to you." Katsu says to me as he holds the ring. "Will you accept the ring?" Katsu asks me.
I smile as I hold back tears because of my eye liner. "Of course." I say to him and he shows me the inside of the ring, it says: Forever. I smile and he puts his forehead on mine with a soft smile. I pull out the thick ring and I look at Katsu in the eye. "I promise to wait until then and be patient until then." I say and Katsu grins softly and I take his hand. "Will you accept this ring Katsu?" I ask him.
Katsu keeps his forehead on mine. "Forever." He says to me and I smile as I place it on his finger.
Katsu closes the case and he puts it in his pocket. He pulls me closer by my waist and kisses me and I can just feel the love emitting from him.
I smile as I put my arms around his neck as we stand here, swaying gently to the music while looking each other in the eyes.
After a little bit, we head out to a star gazing place that his parents once took him.
We lay down on the hill and I look up at the stars, Katsu holding my hand.
We just enjoy being out in the peacefulness of the night.
After a little bit of us talking about the stars, people start coming here to gaze at the stars.
A meteor shower starts and I watch in awe.
I sit up and Katsu sits up as well, putting his arms around my shoulders as we watch the meteor shower.
"I love you too Ray." Katsu says in my ear and my face burns.
Katsu chuckles amused as I hide my face in his arms.
"Look up Ray, you might miss it all." Katsu says to me.
It takes a moment, but I look up and the meteors are brighter than before.
I watch, awed by the beautiful sight.
It ends after a few minutes and everyone around us cheers.
Katsu attempts to kiss my cheek, but I turn my head so he catches my lips instead, which flusters him a little.
I smile at him as he pulls back. "Thank you Katsu." I say to him softly and he grins softly.
He gets up and he helps me up.
We walk together back to the dorm house, arriving at about 2 am.
Dad is waiting outside, unamused, but he sees the promise rings and sighs. "So she said yes?" Dad asks Katsu.
Katsu smirks as he puts his arms around my shoulders. "Like she could resist." Katsu says and I roll my eyes.
"I promised I'd wait because I love you." I say to him and he smirks at me.
"Get inside and get warm. We'll talk about this more tomorrow." Dad says to us.
We head inside and its warm inside.
The two of us head to Katsu's room and I change in his bathroom. I put on a pair of his sweats and his skull t-shirt.
I remove my make up and I undo my hair.
I walk out, just as Katsu put on a tank top.
I put my arms around his waist, rest my face in his back and he rubs my arms.
We lay down on his bed and Eve purrs from the pillow.
We cuddle and I fall asleep.
The next day in class.
I rest my head in my arms, my promise ring still on my finger.
The class freaks out when they see both of us with matching rings.
Izu cries and I sweat drop.
Izu apparently knew and helped Katsu with picking out my size.
"This is ridiculous!" Mineta says outraged.
I roll my eyes at that as he mutters about this annoyed.
I get up and I hit Mineta over the head. "Shut up." I say to him.
The door slams open and I see Mic there with Midnight.
They look at me and Katsu and then leave.
I watch the door, so confused.
At lunch, basically the entire school is buzzing about the promise rings.
I notice several classes staring at me as I walk through the hallway.
I go back to my classroom and I sit down at my seat.
I decide to just take a nap during lunch to avoid everybody.
"Wow, she hates attention." Someone says after a bit.
I wake up and I see Kiri here with Katsu.
"Congrats Ray." Kiri says to me with a grin as he holds out his fist to be bumped.
I bump it with a smile. "Thanks Kiri." I say and I sit up.
The three of us talk until lunch is over.
