Harry curled up in a ball, hugging his knees to his chest and rocking back and forth.

He murmured to himself, tears still running down his face. A stinging pain erupted on his face and he finally felt the burn of the lash against his cheek.
"SHUT UP YOU STUPID BITCH!"
When Harry didn't respond, Vernon threw his chair aside and approached the shaking boy.
He wrapped his fist in Harry's curly black hair before yanking him up. Harry's emerald green eyes silently begged for mercy but Vernon only laughed.
"You deserve nothing you worthless fuck. I should have left you out to die!"
Vernon took off his belt and the raven haired boy was frozen, unable to move.
Hit after hit, Harry's body slowly became a bloody mess. Harry had resumed his place on the floor, protecting his head and spine.
Suddenly, a hit smacked him across the face and he blacked out.
