Author's POV
Taani was sitting stoned on her seat when Rey noticed her posture, her face was pale in fear while she continuously looked at her phone.
"Taani! Kya hua jaan?"
Taani did not respond to him at all, Rey was now confused seeing her sitting their blankly. He forcefully took her phone out of her hand and saw what she was staring at. His blood ran cold reading the text. Quickly shutting off the phone he increased the speed of the car and shook her out of her trance,
"Taani! Taani!"
Her sense came back to her and she looked at him with fear, she was frightened,
"Rey, Rey....Bomb...Rey kuch kariye plzz. I don't wanna die like this."
Rey was himself panicking but he tried not to show it. More than his life he was scared for her, he can die peacefully if that means she is safe and happy in this world. He won't let anything happen to her, even thoygh for that he had to give his own life.
While the same was going in her hand, she can die a thousand deaths if that means he is alive, she doesn't want to be the reason of his death. She can't take his life.
Trying to calm her down he held her hand in his,
"Taani, jaan.... Listen to me. Nothing would happen to you. Trust me, bolo, bharosa hai mujh par?"
He asked her continuously trying to maintain the speed of the car not expecting that she would answer immediately,
"Aapse zyada!"
His head snapped at her direction hearing her, he took a deep breath relieved that at least she trusts him. But trying to control his emotions he concentrated on the disaster they were facing,
"To bas mujhe kuch sochne do, kuch nahi hoga tumhe. I'll not let anything happen to you."
"Apne aap ko bhi nahi, Rey kuch bhi kariye but I want you safe and sound with me. Aap jo bolenge main karungi bas aapko kuch nahi hona chahiye. You won't try to be a hero to save my life."
She told him, he tried to say something, trying to tell her that her life is important,
"Taani, tumhara bachna bahot zaroori hai abhi, plzz meri baat..."
He was immediately cut off,
"No Rey. Ek bad yaad rakhna agar aaj abhi aapko kuch hua, I'll give my life right there and then, and I am not joking. I want you to live for me, I need you. Yaa to hum dono zinda rahenge ya sirf aap."
He laughed ta her sarcastically,
"Do you really think main akele zinda reh paunga, I need you to live for me as much as you want. So yeah we both will live, trust me."
He said knowing that he had to do something that saves both their life. He was continuously thinking while driving aimlessly thanking god that the road was clear and no population was around, being in a populated area can take other people's life too. He was thinking not at all decreasing the speed, the car was going out of control many times, shaking both of them. He slammed his hand on the steering wheel when he could think of nothing but then he realised that a cliff is nearby,
"Taani, there is a cliff nearby right?"
She nodded in agreement holding onto his hand tightly, they never realized they were holding hands all this time. He suddenly made a plan saying,
"Taani, now listen to me carefully. Here is the plan. I'll drive towards the cliff at a high speed, before the car can fall off you will open the gate and jump out from your side okay? The car will fall off the cliff and even if the bomb blasts no one will get hurt around."
"Or aap?"
She asked him, he smiled at her assuringly,
"I'll jump out too. Don't worry! Trust me, hum dono ko kuch nahi hone dunga."
Taani nodded at him with tears in her eyes. He kissed her hand while she closed her eyes praying to her Krishna ji. He changed the way towards the cliff according to the plan. He increased the speed at the last moment, before unbuckling their seatbelts both of them looked at each other for strength then with a silent prayer opening the gate of their respective sides jumped out of the car. His body rolled on the stony path a little hurting him on his back before he regained his balance while she landed on the little grassy patch on the side of the cliff. They saw the car fall off the cliff and with a boom blasted shredding it into pieces.
Both of them layed on the ground to stop the impact of the blast from hurting them. Getting up he ran towards her gathering her in his arms, she too embraced him tightly taking deep breaths.
"Aap theek hai?"
He nodded and separating their frames checked her whole self for any injuries.
"Main theek hu, tum? You didn't got hurt right?"
He saw her whole face checking her not calming down at all, she tried to say but he did not let her. To assure himself of her well being he kissed her whole face passionately, first her forehead, her eyes, cheeks, chin and again her forehead.
She raised her hand and kept it on his cheek, he immediately calmed down feeling her touch, it assured him that she is there present with him. They leaned their heads together with each other and felt like their world was fine, nothing was wrong, they were still together. They were sitting on their knees hugging each other in the middle of nowhere. Backing away Rey stood up and helped her stand too. They looked around when Taani remembered something,
"Rey, ye bomb mom and dad ke liye tha, vo to theek honge na?"
"They are fine Taani, Dad messaged me half n hour ago that they have boarded their flight."
She sighed in relief before looking around,
"Rey, ab kya karenge. Car to...."
He looked at her stressed himself and asked her,
"Taani, give me your phone."
She looked for hers but remembered that it fell down when they were in car because of shock, she slapped her head annoyed,
"Vo to car mein gir gaya tha."
Rey cursed their luck when she asked him,
"But aapka phone kaha hai?"
"Actually uski battery low ho gayi hai so switched off."
They looked around thinking what to do, she looked at him asking,
"Rey ab kya karenge?"
"Pata nahi, yahan to koi lift bhi nahi milegi. Or raat bhi hone vali hai."
Rey replied to her and continued seeing how tensed she got with this situation,
"Jaan tum tension kyu le rahi ho, main hoon na tumhare saath. Koi rasta dhundh lenge hum."
He held her arms turning her towards himself, she nodded actually not at all tensed when he is with her. That's surprising to herself even as she did not even ponder on the bomb matter when he was there with her, in fact just followed him blindly trusting him with both their lives. They were standing there looking in each other's eyes lost but the sudden thunder in the sky brought both of them back to the real world.
Taani stepped back finally realizing their equation at the moment, his face fell but he quickly covered it saying,
"I think we should walk looking for some shade, weather is worsening."
She agreed and they started moving towards the bunch of trees that were there in one direction, which was actually an entrance to some woods, not exactly a forest but the place had loads of trees. They just hoped that they find their way back to the road for some lift, although Rey had some other plans now.
He finally realized that they are all alone without their phones lost in the way and what more is better than this to make her finally realize their love. To make her his again finally.

In Jodhpur (Same time)
Parth was eagerly waiting for the news of her safety sitting in his room, he was striding left to right when one of his men knocked on the door coming inside, Parth immediately gestured him to speak,
"Sir, our man watched the car falling off the cliff and blasting but we are not sure if both of them were there in the car. But sir when we tried their mobile phones from unregistered numbers they were coming untraceable as if they have been switched off."
Parth stopped him asking,
"Is it possible for someone to survive the blast?"
The man hesitated and spoke,
"No sir, and since both their phones are untraceable then we are assuming that they both might be..."
"Might be?"
Parth asked him daring him to complete,
"De...Dead"
The man spoe fearing for his life when Parth came to him and holding him from his neck he pushed his body towards the wall cutting his oxygen supply,
"How dare you say that, meri Taani ko kuch nahi ho sakta. Now you listen to me, jahan blast hua vahan ka hare k corner search karo, I want Taani at any cost. I know usse kuch nahi hua hai. You have a day to bring back good news. Now fuck off!"
He pushed him with a jerk and banged his hands on the table there,
"Nahi Taani. Tumhe kuch nahi ho sakta. Aise kaise mujhe chod ke jaa sakti ho my rose. You are not dead. I'll bring you back at any cost."

Phew... Taarey are safe but Parth's men think they both are dead. What do you think will happen if they aren't able to search taarey. Moreover both their phones are either blasted (hehehehe) or dead so even their families have no idea of their whereabouts.
Taarey alone, together lost in forest finding their way back. What do you think will happen. Loads of romance may be patch up or may be more misunderstandings.
For that you have to wait for sometime as the next upadtes will be of Taarey- A Royal Arrangement.
