The next day.
I woke up with pain engulfing me all over my body.
I started crawling slowly frantically shouting my sister's name.
I searched almost everywhere.
I was losing consciousness again but I shook it off and continued searching for her.
My heart started beating faster the moment I saw blood flowing on the floor.
I quickly went to our opened room and silently prayed that my sister was alright.
I immediately regretted not locking the door to our room before leaving to see my father.
I slowly widened the door and screamed out of pain from what what lying in front of me.
My sister was lying on the floor of our room surrounded by her own pool of blood.
I quickly went to her side and checked her pulse.
The tears were never ending.
HE KILLED HER ! .
i took her in my hands and
"I - I am s- sorry Janet , I was supposed to be there ".
I assumed he had run away after what he had done.
I just couldn't bear it , I stayed by her side the whole day , caressing , hugging and apologizing non-stop.
I woke up and was reminded of the pain again.
I wiped my tears away but they kept on coming.
I got up and was feeling less of the pain.
I treated all the bruises and wounds and went to take my bath.
I didn't feel like eating.
I went to our room again and cleaned her up.
I bathed her like old times and wore her, her favorite dress.
Do you know why she liked that pink dress?
Well I sowed it for her and sowed a picture of us at the front as a badge .
I layed her on our bed and slept beside her.
My dad hadn't still returned .
And I knew what I would definitely do when he returned.
I covered her up in white sheets and apologized once again .
choking on my own tears when I heard the door slowly being opened in .
I shook my head , even after killing his younger daughter , he had locked both of us in this house and ran.
I didn't care anymore about that dirty man who layed dead upstairs .
I immediately went to hide at a corner in the living room.
As soon as he came close to me , I smashed an empty bottle in his head and watched in anger as he turned to look at me in shock .
I angrily punched him in the gut and made him quickly fall unconscious.
Guess what , after he fell unconscious I smashed another bottle into his head...
