Sighing, I laid my tray on the table and sat down with Soyeon, Momo and Mina. The three of them were talking aboutt a random topic before they turned their attention to me. I greeted them briefly and began to eat from my plate.
"Mina told us about Miss Lee's request," Momo started the conversation and tried to surpress an amused smile.
I instantly looked up from my meal and gave her an annoyed killer glance.
"Ha ha, very funny", I said with a fake smile before I stabbed my food with the fork.
"If you think this whole situation is so entertaining, why don't you take over the group instead?"
She quickly threw her hands in the air and moved away, defending herself.
"I'd love to, but I have dance classes later and the boys are kinda scary, not gonna lie."
"Coward."
"A pretty coward tho."
Smiling, I rolled my eyes at her comment and took another bite of my food when I suddenly got goose bumps all over my body. An icy shiver ran down my spine and I raised my head in surprise.
"What's wrong?" Soyeon asked as she stared at me with a confused expression.
With a wrinkled forehead, I let my gaze wander through the cafeteria and searched for an unknown someone or something.
"I don't know," I mumbled equally confused, the tension still running through my limbs.
"I have a strange feeling."
"Uhhh... is it possible that that guy over there is staring at you?"
I looked at Mina, who just nodded her head in the direction behind me. Shortly afterwards, I turned on my chair and instantly froze when a pair of dark eyes met mine.
His stare seemed to pierce through my body, while he cheekily licked his lower lip without breaking eye contact.
"Why the hell is Lee Donghyuck looking at you," it left Momo's lips in surprise, and seconds after that she started grinning and wiggling her eyebrows at me.
I quickly looked away from the boy several tables away and flicked my finger against the forehead of my black-haired friend.
"Hey- What was that for?" she whined loudly and squinted her eyes at me.
I looked back at her with the same expression and took another bite of my food .
"You know exactly what for."
She didn't respond to that and just puckered with her lips. Meanwhile, Soyeon leaned over to my side until she was close enough to my ear.
"Do you think he recognized you?"
"You mean he noticed I was the girl from the club?"
Silently, my best friend nodded, her worried and bewildered look slipping past me once more and landing on the student.
Even without Soyeon's words, I knew he was still staring at me because of his threatening aura.
"I mean... there's a chance... I had a lot of makeup on my face and a blond wig, but he might have recognized me.
"Try to stay away from him," she whispered in my ear again, "the group is probably more trouble than we can possibly imagine."
"Better said than done," I now mumbled slightly annoyed and stood up from my seat.
Once again I looked over to Donghyuck, who in the meantime had made his way out of the cafeteria with his friends.
"I still have to guide them around."
I actually don't know what happened here...
I feel like my head is not capable of writing any proper english sentenses today ,sorry for that😀
