Kageyama's POV
"Boke, Hinata Boke!" I yelled at the human tangerine, he missed another spike because he's been staring off into space for who knows what reason. Hinata stood up from the ground with a glare, "Hey, stop saying that already!" He shouted, my glare grew stronger as I approached him, "Then why the hell have you been missing almost all of my tosses to you, you human tangerine!" I yelled while grabbing his shirt and shaking him back and forth.
"Hey, stop that you two!" Our captain yelled while grabbing my shirt and pulled me away from Hinata, the both of us continued to glare at each other, before the gym door opened and our gazes turned to the door, my eyes widened at the figure. He had messy/spiky/curly/etc H/c hair, tired E/c eyes that wandered around the gym, a small petite body and his uniform was kinda messy, it's like he didn't even bother fixing it.
"Uwahh! M/n!" Hinata yelled while running towards the tired male, he then smiled as I felt my face flush even more. "Hey, Shouyo..." He tiredly replied, his voice was kinda raspy but it sounded perfect and beautiful to me. I ignored the human tangerines annoying ranting as I continued to look at the sleepy male, I couldn't take my eyes off of him... He then glanced in my direction and we both made eye contact, my eyes widened.
His tired E/c eyes looked so mesmerizing, we both stared at each other for a few more seconds until he broke eye contact when Hinata was yelling at him to listen, "M/n! You good?" The H/c haired male nodded slowly, "This triggered blueberry is our awesome setter, Kageyama!" Hinata yelled while smiling widely, pulling me towards the shorter male.
My cheeks flared up, "H-H-Hello. I'm Kageyama Tobio, first year and setter... Nice to meet you." I stuttered out, cursing at myself when I did. The shorter male nodded, "... Kozume M/n. I'm from Aoba Johsai, first year setter. Nice to finally meet you. Shouyo talks about you a lot." He smiled tiredly as my gaze hardened. Not only was he a family member of the setter from Nekoma but he was also playing the same position as me. "Setter..." I whispered, "Bakageyama! Stop glaring at M/n!" He slapped my back as I groaned.
A tick mark formed on my forehead.

M/n visited us from time to time just to hang out with Hinata, occasionally talking with me and the others. We all walked down the street while eating meat buns, "How come you went to Aoba Johsai instead of going to Nekoma just like your cousin?" Yamaguchi asked as the short male yawned while rubbing his eyes.
"... Well, my mom and dad wanted me to go there so that I wouldn't be alone, but I told them I wanted to stay here since I didn't wanna leave Shouyo whining and balling his eyes out..." He explained while taking a bite of his meat bun, Hinata pouted, "Who says I'll be whining and balling my eyes out?!" He yelled while crossing his arms over his chest.
I blankly stared at him, M/n smiled tiredly at the human tangerine, "Plus, we've been friends since we were kids so I grew attached to him and I couldn't bare leaving him..." I stopped when I felt a burning feeling on my chest. I heard the others come to a halt when they found out I stopped moving.
Footsteps approached me, "Hey... Are you alright, Kageyama?" A soft voice asked me as I felt butterflies inside my stomach again, the burning feeling disappearing from my chest. I glanced up with a soft blush coating my cheeks, I looked away and slowly nodded. He let out a sigh of relief, "... That's good." He grabbed my hand unexpectedly as I snapped my head forward while sweating nervously.
He pulled me forward while continuing to eat his meat bun, "W-W-Why are y-y-y—" "Because you look like you can't possibly walk on your own so I decided to help you." He gave me a side glance and a tired smile, I flushed and glanced to my feet, not wanting anyone to see my face.
I heard snickers coming from beside me as I snapped my head in their direction with a glare, they continued to tease me along the way.

"Sleepover?" I asked as the others nodded their heads, "Yep! We're gonna have a sleepover with only us first years! Including, M/n!" Hinata exclaimed in pure happiness, I flushed knowing that M/n will be joining us. "Where are we gonna stay over?" Yamaguchi asked as Hinata grinned.
"We're gonna stay at M/n's house, he says that his parents will be away for tonight because of their date!" I felt all giddy inside but somehow, I feel like something is wrong. "... Pfft, like I'll stay in a room with you shorties." Salt shaker snickered, he then glanced at Yamaguchi who's lips were trembling, "Except for you of course..." Yamaguchi smiled.
I sighed, "I think I might be allowed!" Yamaguchi smiled as Hinata grinned, "Me too!" He exclaimed and glanced at me, I groaned and nodded, trying my best to not show my blush. "Alright, that settles it! We're gonna have a sleepover tonight!"

I arrived at his house on the exact time as I bit my lip, feeling nervous. I then sighed and knocked on the door, I heard footsteps approaching from the other side as the door swung open and there he was in all his glory. He had his H/c hair all messy, he was in a F/c long sleeves and sweat pants.
He glanced up at me tiredly and nodded, "Oh, hey Kageyama... You're the first one here, come in..." He stepped aside as I nodded my head slowly and hesitantly.
Stepping inside the house while taking off my shoes, "Sorry for the intrusion..." I whispered and looked around, he told me to sit down on the couch as he went to the kitchen to grab some water, I glanced around before I heard a bing come from the kitchen. I blinked for a few seconds when I heard M/n let out a sigh.
He got into my line of sight as he approached me while rubbing his head, "... Shouyo said that he can't come and that he has to look after Natsu..." He sighed, I nodded, this is nothing bad, right? We'll just have to wait for that salt shaker and Yamaguchi— another bing came from his phone.
We both paused as M/n read the message as he let out another sigh, "... Yamaguchi and Tsukishima aren't coming. Yamaguchi's parents didn't let him go while Tsukishima just didn't want to, which I already expected..." He glanced up from his phone and gave me a small awkward smile, "... Which means we're alone together..."
Upon hearing the news, I felt my cheeks flush as I looked down on my feet. Glaring at the ground, already knowing that the others had planned this. "... It's fine if you want to go home, it's gonna be really awkward... Plus, you probably don't even like being around me... I can tell." He let out a small laugh.
I snapped my head up with a serious expression, he flinched and backed away while sweating, "Sweet Jesus! Kageyama, you literally scared me, I thought your neck was about to break from how fast you moved your head!" He exclaimed, I stood up and approached him, he slightly shivered under my burning gaze.
I grabbed his shoulders tightly, we both stared at each other for a while before he gulped down some saliva, "Kageyama...?" He asked in a quiet tone, I then realized what I did as I felt my face heat up from embarrassment, I glanced down, "I-I'm s-sorry if I scared y-you... I didn't mean to... I was just shocked on why you might think I hate being around you..." I mumbled.
I let him go and let my hands fall to my sides while looking down on my feet, afraid to look at his face. "Do you though?" He softly asked as I shook my head, "N-No, I don't hate being around you! Actually, I—I love being around you! I love the way you held my hand a few weeks ago, I love the way you smile at me, I love your beautiful face, your personality— Just everything about you drives me insane and make me feel all warm inside, I don't even know why but— it just happens!" I yelled while blushing.
Feeling my chest grow tight, confused on my emotions. He looked at me before smiling softly and let out a small laugh, "Oh you're such an idiot..." He mumbled, I looked away, he then placed his hands on my cheeks and made me face forward, going into his tippy toes and kissed my lips.
My eyes widened as my stomach felt all warm and fuzzy again, I slowly relaxed and kissed back hesitantly. We both then pulled away as he chuckled, "Jesus, I didn't know you were this dumb, Kageyama. I like you too, you idiot." He smiled as I blinked for a few seconds before covering my face out of embarrassment.
"... I am an idiot..."
