Ayuki POV:
I find myself back with Ms.Ainz and Mr.Akira as I'm sitting on a medical table with Ms.Ainz holding a needle with Mr.Akira preparing something on his scroll.
Ayuki: It will make me sleep for awhile?
Ms.Ainz: Yes, just for today.
Mr.Akira: It will test your.... ability to absorb aura even when you're asleep.
Ayuki: Okay...
Ms.Ainz gives me the shot as everything becomes blurry and disoriented before going black as I'm only able to hear voices.
Mr.Akira: It would seem this one is another failure, General Ironwood.
Ms.Ainz: Complete inability to use Aura and no sign of Semblance use.
Ironwood: Understood, terminate her like the rest.
Ms.Ainz: However this one has gained consciousness and appears to be stable sir.
Mr.Akira: She also has no signs of regaining any of her memories.
Ironwood: What are you both insinuating?
Mr.Akira: We would like to adopt her into our family.
Ms.Ainz: She has shown signs of life and has free will we have no right to terminate her like the others.
Ironwood:...
Ironwood: Understood...you may adopt Ayuki into your family.
Mr.Akira: We're also resigning from our positions as head scientists.
Ms.Ainz: However we'll leave all our research for the experiments.
Ironwood: Understood... we're gonna miss both of your work efforts for this project.
Ainz & Akira: Thank you sir.
Everything goes quiet as the darkness fully takes hold as all I feel is the wind blowing at my face.
My eyes start to slowly open as I see I'm no longer in the white room but a completely different room filled with a bright light and I notice I'm no longer laying on a lab table but a actually bed.
Ayuki: Where am I...?
I look around to see Ms.Ainz and Mr Akira preparing something.
Ayuki: Ms.Ainz? Mr.Akira?
Ms.Ainz and Mr.Akira: (presenting a black and purple cake) Welcome to our home Ayuki!
Ayuki: Hmm?
Ayuki: Is this a test?
Ms.Ainz: Not at all.
Mr.Akira: From now on you don't have to do anymore tests.
Ainz: Because you're part of our family now.
Ayuki: Family...?
Akira: You've been adopted into our family which means...
Akira & Ainz: You're our daughter.
Ayuki: (teary eyed) Really...?
They both respond with a smile as I continue to cry while smiling until everything goes white.
Ayuki: (Mom...Dad...)
I look around to see I'm laying in bed but not my Dorm room this time but in Y/N's bed.
Ayuki: (I'm in Y/N's bed...?)
I sit up to see Rinka sleeping by Y/N's computer desk.
Ayuki: Rinka..?
Rinka: Hmm...
She gets up and stretches before realizing I'm awake as she runs and hugs me.
Rinka: Ayuki!
Ayuki: Ow...
Rinka: You had me so worried when you passed out!
Ayuki: I'm sorry...
Rinka: Are you feeling okay?
Ayuki: I'm fine...just a little sore.
Rinka: Thank goodness.
Rinka: Professors! She's awake now!
Ayuki: How come we're here instead of our Dorm?
Rinka: Well, the Professors were worried about you and invited us to stay here for tonight.
The others walk in with Professor Miyuki and Koyuki having a really concerned expression.
Koyuki: I'm happy to see you're awake.
Miyuki: Feeling any pain?
Ayuki: Just a little sore.
Karen: (laughing) Sorry about that I might've gotten a little carried away.
Ayuki: It's fine I actually enjoyed fighting against you.
Yue: Are you feeling any different?
Ayuki: I feel a little bit stronger than before.
Rinka: Is it because of that mask thing you did?
Ayuki: I don't know...
Akame: Can you try to use it again?
Ayuki: I can try.
I close my eyes to search for the power again as I feel a warm sensation over me as I try to grasp onto that sensation feeling something forming over my face until I open my eyes to see everyone's reaction.
I reach for my face feeling nothing but the energy I felt blocking the contact.
Ayuki: What is this thing?
I try to pull the mask off to no avail.
Miyuki: I know what do about it.
Miyuki: (to the others) Do you mind if we have some privacy?
The others leave as I see Miyuki closing the door behind them.
Ayuki: Professor Miyuki is this mask a bad thing?
Miyuki: Not at all.
She places a hand on her face with a similar looking mask forming on her face.
Miyuki: It's actually a part of my Semblance.
Ayuki: W-Why do I have it?
Miyuki: I don't know...but all you have to do is relax and release the energy to make the mask fade away.
I do as she says and close my eyes and relax my whole body as I feel the energy leaving my face and returning to the depths of my soul.
Ayuki: Did it work?
Miyuki: (mask fading away) Yeah just remember that feeling and you'll be fine.
Ayuki: Thank you Ms.Miyuki.
Miyuki: It's no problem.
She starts walking toward me and sitting on the bed.
Miyuki: Ayuki...
Ayuki: Hmm?
Miyuki: Did you...feel anything weird when you used it the first time?
Ayuki: It felt like someone's else's Aura was merging with my own.
Miyuki: So, it wasn't just me.
Ayuki: I just don't understand what's been going on with me.
Miyuki: Are you scared...?
Ayuki: Honestly no...It feels like I'm getting closer and closer to figuring out something I've forgotten.
Ayuki: Something really important that will I don't know "fix me" in a way.
Miyuki: Maybe you're right....
She suddenly hugs me as my face starts to heat up like crazy.
Ayuki: M-Miyuki?!
She let's me go with tears forming on her eyes.
Miyuki: I'm sorry it's just when you used it, you reminded me of how cool my Big Sister was.
Ayuki: Cool...?
Miyuki: Fighting with everything you have and smiling no matter how bad the situation gets.
Miyuki: You were so amazing.
Ayuki: Oh, um...thanks Professor.
She hugs me again as I let her cry some more stroking her hair hoping to bring some comfort.
Miyuki: Can we stay like this for a little while longer?
Ayuki: For however long you want to Professor.
Tears start to fall down on my face without me understanding why.
Ayuki: (Why I'm getting this feeling again?)
Multiple images start to fill my head of the times I've had with Ms.Ainz and Mr.Akira even some of my older brother Ren.
Ren: Okay, Dad and mom want us to grab some science books for them.
Ayuki: Okay, Big brother.
We start searching around their personal library splitting up as I head farther back continuing to search for tuem until a book suddenly falls hitting my head.
Ayuki: Ow...What was that?
I pick up the book seeing a Black Snowflake as I open it seeing a Black Snowflake necklace on the inside.
Ayuki: (What's this...?)
I continue to stare at it as I feel a sudden pain in my chest feeling as if my soul is about to shatter.
Ayuki: (It hurts so much...)
Ren: Ayuki what's wrong?!
Ayuki: I don't know...something just hurts.
He hugs me as I start to cry more as he strokes me hair to comfort me.
Ren: It's okay...
Ayuki: I don't why my chest hurts so much!
Ayuki: I just want it stop!
Ayuki: Please make it stop Big Brother!
The image fades as I continue to hold Miyuki close to me.
Ayuki: (There's less pain when I do this)
Ayuki: (I just need more time...)
Fuyuko POV:
I continue flying through the ocean as I see a mix of underwater fish and Grimm until I spot a small island along the coast.
Fuyuko: (That must be it)
My stomach starts to growl and I start feeling weak again.
Fuyuko: (Looks like just in time too)
I land as I start looking for a Black haired cat Faunus among the crowd feeling weaker and weaker as I continue on.
Fuyuko: (So hungry...)
I continue to walk until my vision starts to blur as I feel like I'm on the verge of collapsing until I notice I'm in an alley way.
Fuyuko: (Maybe taking a sit here for just a minute wouldn't hurt)
I find a good place to sit as I look down at my hands.
Fuyuko: (I still feel the shock running through my body)
Scientist: (AND MONSTERS DESERVE DEATH!!!)
I clench my fist in response as I feel myself starting to tear up.
Fuyuko: (I'm not a monster... I'll never be a monster)
???: Looks like we found her!
???: She seems to be in bad shape.
I look up to see a Blonde Monkey Faunus with a Brown Haired Chameleon Faunus girl.
They both jump down from the rooftop as I stand up and summon my sword.
Fuyuko: Who are you two?!
Monkey Faunus: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! We're not here to fight!
Chameleon Faunus: We were told to come find you once you made it here.
I keep my guard up with my sword still raised at them.
Monkey Faunus: I'm Sun and this is Ilia, we're friends with Yang.
Fuyuko: Really?
Sun then pulls a picture of him and Ilia with Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Blake.
Sun: See we're all friends here...
Fuyuko: (lowering her sword) Okay...
My stomach growls one more time as everything goes white.
I find myself in a different place seeing an image of Blake giving a speech to a crowd of Faunus.
Blake: You have to understand that all of you are looking for simple answers to a very complicated problem, and I can't give that to you. I don't know how to make hate go away, I don't. But I know that this kind of violence is not the solution.
Fuyuko: (A way to make hate go away...)
The image fades as I open my eyes to see I'm laying in a bed.
Fuyuko: Where am I...?
???: It looks you've recovered well.
I turn to my left to see a Black Haired Cat Faunus wearing a kimono with two swords on her back wearing a mask.
I try to summon my sword as she removes her mask.
Blake: Wait!
Blake: Sorry if my mask scared you I tend to keep it on most of the time.
Blake: You must be the girl Yang talked about.
Blake: Fuyuko, right?
Fuyuko: Yes...
Blake: It's nice to meet you my name's Blake Belladonna.
Fuyuko: Yeah...
I try to get up from the bed until my stomach growls again as I hold the pillow close to me to hide my embarrassment.
Blake: (giggling) Would you like something to eat?
I nod while blushing.
Blake: Come on there's food downstairs.
Fuyuko: Okay...
I follow her downstairs keeping my head down.
Fuyuko: (Why am I feeling so nervous here...?)
Fuyuko: (The other strange thing is I feel like I've been here before...)
We make it to the table as I see its filled with food.
Fuyuko: Wow....
Blake: Have as much as you like.
Fuyuko: Okay...
I take a sit and grab myself a plate as I feel a sudden urge to pray.
Fuyuko: Thank you for the food.
I bite into (Favorite Meal) as I calmly eat it despite how tasty it is.
Fuyuko: So good~
I hear Blake giggling as I stop eating and start blushing.
Fuyuko: Did I do something...weird?
Blake: No... it's just you kinda remind of someone I knew she really loved sweets.
Fuyuko: Oh...
Blake: So, Fuyuko I heard from Yang you're trying to find your parents in Vale.
Fuyuko: I am.
Blake: What are you gonna do once you find them?
Fuyuko: I don't know...Ask them why they left me at Atlas?
Fuyuko: I don't why I was there but the people at met weren't really nice.
I gesture to my neck.
Fuyuko: They shocked me here with no restraint whatsoever.
Blake: How did you break out?
Fuyuko: I managed to unlock some power and they tried to stop me so I...killed them in self defense.
Blake: I see...
Fuyuko: Does that make me a monster...?
Blake: I can't say...Did you enjoy it?
Fuyuko: Not at all...All I wanted to do was to leave that place.
Blake: Have you killed anyone else?
Fuyuko: Nothing except some Atlesian Robots and some Grimm that were attacking Ruby.
Blake: Then in my honest opinion I wouldn't call you a monster.
Blake: Just a person who's been in a lot of pain and wants to rid themselves of it.
Fuyuko: Have you met anyone like me?
Blake: I have...She was someone I loved deeply and I miss her everyday but I still have the memories we shared.
Blake: She was a person that had lots of struggles but she never wavered and persevered through it all finding peace in the end.
Fuyuko: She sounds amazing...what was her name?
Blake: Y/N L/N.
Fuyuko: Y/N, huh?
I feel my chest ache at the sound of her name being called.
Fuyuko: (Why does that name sound so familiar?)
I finish up eating as Blake allowed me to freshen up as I sit in the bathtub letting myself relax before bringing back out my astral dress as Blake leads me to a bedroom.
I lay in the bed.
Blake: Rest for as long as you need.
Fuyuko: Okay...
I see her about to leave as I sit up.
Fuyuko: Blake...
Blake: Hmm?
Fuyuko: Why are you all being so nice to me?
Blake: We're Huntresses it's our duty to help people in need.
Blake: No matter where they came from.
Fuyuko: Wow...
Blake: Get some rest if you feel like heading off to Vale tomorrow I'll give you a map so you don't lose your way.
Fuyuko: I will...thank you Blake.
Blake: You're welcome.
Fuyuko: Blake...could you tell the rest of your friends that I really appreciate all that they've done for me?
Blake: I will.
Blake: Goodnight Fuyuko.
Fuyuko: Goodnight Blake.
She turns off the light as I lay in bed closing my eyes.
Fuyuko: (I hope this feeling of warmth never goes away)
