"R u seriously going to meet him...ALONE" She asked
"No...I mean Ofcourse people r gonna be there in the party" I explained
"Kelly i don't know...I wanna meet him and hear him why he left all of a sudden....but....I can't forget the fact that he pointed gun at my father" I signed
"And u" Kelly added nodding her head
"Kelly what should I do"
She looked at me and held my hand
"What do u want" she asked quietly
"I want to meet him and hear his side of the story"
"Then U should go" she said after thinking for a while
"Okay" I smiled back
"God I almost forgot" I yelled putting my hand on forehead
"What" she raised her eyebrows
"I have nothing to wear"
"Oh dear" she signed "C'mon I have plenty of clothes" she said throwing a tshirt at me from my closet as I was still in towel
We left for Kelly's and arriving I looked at the time...
"Its already 4" I panicked
"U have to go at 7...we have plenty of time"
She opened her huge closet revealing the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen
"Woah" I exclaimed
"Oh and one more thing" I said turning to face her
"What now" she asked throwing up her hands
"I will have to wear this...as a yes" I said showing the emerald stone
"He said that if u wanna meet me at the party just wear this...I'll know" I blushed looking at the pendant
" wow That's quite thoughtful" she smirked
"I know right" I chuckled
"But don't forget that this isn't some reunion of yours....u r just going to listen to what he has to say"
" yep" i nodded looking at the dresses
"So" she pulled out a black dress...
"Since u like black dress" she brushed the dress with her hand..."But it doesn't match the pendant" I whined
"Oh yeah" she replied putting back the black dress and pulling out a dark green dress
"Wow its-" I gasped
"Perfect? Ik" she smiled
I tried the dress and it fitted perfectly
"This is so beautiful" we said in unison
We looked at each other and burst out laughing
I tried the pendant and it suited perfectly...
I was so nervous and happy....
I ran towards the bathroom and combed my hair...
I parted my hair in two half and made 2 small braids on both sides and pulled few strands of hair...
"Im ready" I said nervously
Kelly smiled proudly..."let's get going"
We arrived there in time...
We reached the big gate of the hotel...Kelly came running towards my side to help me out of the car..."thanku" I said as I held her hand...
"Hii Honey" dad said coming towards us
"Hi" I smiled...."u look so beautiful buttercup" dad commented
"Kelly did the wonders" I smiled
"Let's meet my friends"dad said as we waved goodbye to Kelly...she gave me a thumbs up...
We got into the hotel it was big...like the biggest I've ever seen...
big chandeliers and renaissance paintings hung around the hall
"This is a nice place" I said coming closer to dad and climbing the stairs...it was quite noisy though...with all the people chattering and laughing plus the music
"Yeah it is" dad said taking me to group of people
"This is my stunning daughter" dad introduced proudly
"Hi" I shook hands with everyone...we talked a bit...they asked me about my carrier and stuff...I was chattering with dad as the realisation hit me
"Cole" I murmured looking at the party...I surveyed the hall we were in but it was soo crowdy...
"I'll just go grab a drink" I told dad
"Drink?" dad raised his eyebrows jokingly
"Not alcohol dad" I said rolling my eyes...everyone laughed
"Okay hon" dad said turning away
I grabbed my dress and made my way towards the entrance..."i need some fresh air first"
I was walking out as someone collided with me making me disbalance off my heels
As I was about to fall...someone grabbed my waist...I looked over and there he was...with his stunning eyes and undeniable charm...
"Hello there" he smiled
I pulled myself up...he quickly scanned my neck...and his smile broadened when he saw the pendant
"So its a yes?" He looked up
I decided to keep a hard exterior not forgetting that he pointed gun at me and my dad....but I couldn't help myself becuz I was so happy to see him
"Yes" I replied roughly..."Do u wanna go some place...quiet?" He asked
I recalled what Kelly said
"DO NOT GO WITH HIM ANYWHERE ALONE"
"No...just say what u wanna say here" I told him...he looked around...
"Its not safe here for us"...he said looking into my eyes and making me weak
"Can we dance and talk" he said with a really serious face....
"Cole...u really think this is a joke right" I snapped not believing what he just said
"U threatened to kill my dad....u r a criminal on the loose" I said in a low voice
"Ik Emily...but if anyone sees us here they will shoot us both" he raised his eyebrows in concern
"What"
"Just please dance with me" He said pulling out his hand infront of me
"Okay" I signed...thank god dad is not anywhere near
He swayed me over to the dance floor....his warm hand made me feel comfortable and I melted into his arms..but I had to act tough
"I...." he paused as he looked down into my eyes...even after wearing heals I was reaching just a little above his shoulder...
He looked deep into my soul making me shudder at his soft touch...i loved it...I love every moment of it...his touch,his presence
"God I missed u" I signed putting my head on his shoulder....so much for being tough
"U did?" he asked
"Why did u run away" I said making eye contact with him again
"My sister is still alive Emily" he confessed happily
