Today is sunday and we are heading to my in-laws house, yes folks ,my in-laws.I know this is messed up ,but my mom and surprisingly even varsha was ok with it.
Ok ,let me tell you what happened, the women whose life I have saved a few months back ,showed up with her son three days back at my house,i was really happy that she was healthy,she asked for my hand in marriage, she was good ,I liked her, and then he assured my mom that they would treat me well ,and they only want me , nothing else . I am a fool I don't even know what he does,some one disturbed my thought process.
"Ammu , we have reached" my mom said
As promised they have sent a range rover to my house to pick us up, though I told latha ma ,that I could drive.well, we got down ,shocked will be an understatement, I mean I am looking at a huge bunglow, with so many cars parked around , and people running around in hurry.
My mother and varsha weren't really shocked.My mother in law welcomed us Inside.
"Sarita ji, this my husband, vinay, and vinay this sarita ji and our bahu ,not to forget our sweet little varsha" latha ma introduced
"Weclome to the family sister and hello girls" he silmed, he looked like a man in his late 50s but was very fit and was looking super friendly.
"Hello uncle" me and varsha
"Call me dad beta,we are a family" he said
We were are sitting in the living area and I was looking around.
" He will be down in a minute beta" latha ma said and all laughed and I was embarassed .He came down and sat beside me and said a hello.
.I shuttered a hi
"Samy ,why don't you show her around the house, while we talk about dates" latha ma said
"Yes,ma" he said taking my hand into his and dragging me from the living area, I was hell nervous.
"So....are you ok with this marriage " he questioned ,once we reached the garden area.
What does he mean? I mean I said yes a long time ago ,Maybe he doesn't really like and agreed to marry me because of his mother.
" Yes ,I mean I have said yes , yesterday itself, if...you are not okay with this marriage you can backoff...I mean no force, you don't have to marry me all because I have saved your mother...annddd" before I could finish he gave a peck on my cheek.
He backed off immediately and said ," I am sorry, you were too cute blabbering ,and I am 100% ok with this marriage , I am not marrying you because you saved my mother ,but because I like you" he said , I didn't even know what to say...
Varsha came running to the garden ," they are calling you guys"
With that we went inside and pandit said that our marriage can be held by the end of this month as there were no for an 6 months ,if we miss this. My in-laws were happy with the arrangement, my mom looked at me and I nodded, we held a small rokha ceremony .
We proceeded to have dinner and I was trying to sit beside varsha or ma to escape the awkwardness with the incident ,that happened in the garden, but my actions went in vain, when my to-be husband caught my wrist and made me sit beside him ,when I looked at my hand in his, and him ,he just smirked not bothering to leave my hand.
" Ammu" my mother-in-law called me
"Ji, ma"
" Apply for leave in the office before a week, so that we ladies can go shopping" my mother-in-law asked and my mom agreed
" I don't think one week will be possible ma, I took one week already during your accident and our CEO is very cruel that he made rules not give more than a week for marriage and not more than 3 three days of yearly leave " ,my finaceé choked the water he was drinking ,and everyone smirked.did I say something wrong??
My MIL looked sad, so I said
" But ,I will try applying ,app tension math ligiyega( don't tense yourself)" I said
And when I looked at my to-be husband he murmured something to himself.
We had our dinner peacefully and I mentally noted to avoid my financeé before marriage to escape akwardness.
And then we bid our byes, my finaceé hugged and whispered, "miss me" before any one hear it , he backed off
We reached home and varsha ran into my room and shouted ," miss me !?huh"
" Stop it varsha" I was embrassed
"Not to for hug and ki..." before she could complete I closed her mouth, I was red by now ,but some how with a straight face I said.."we..we.. didn't kiss...stop embrassing me ....I have a project to submit tomorrow and should work extra to free up my schedule" I said
And varsha walked to her room murmuring "as if jiju will make you work"
With that I resumed on working,. I got a text message from an unknown number, the minute I saw the text , I knew it was him
" Good night love 😘- hubby"
"Gst" I texted back
"Gst!?"
"Good night...sweet dreams...take care" I explained
"Nah!? More like hot dreams"
He is embrassing me
"Blushing are we!?"
" Nope, I have more important works than blushing" I retorted
"So what are doing?"
"I am working on my project now, and looking to through schedule to complete my work ,so that may be my boss will think about granting me leave"
" Don't over work yourself darling, is your boss so cruel!?" I blushed reading the d word ,but replied ignoring it
" Idk, I never met him in person , but once when I asked for a leave to take mom to medical check -up ,my superior denied saying my boss won't allow it"
" Oh! I see , anyways all the best with your project, sleep now, you can work on it later.."
"Oke"
With that I placed my phone back and started working, happily, thinking that he cared for me, but it's so overwhelming , I mean the way he talks and all..manoj never once asked me if I had even eaten , when we were engaged.
Sameer's pov:
After they agreed to marriage , I wasn't able to think of anything but Amaira, I wasn't able to concentrate on my work, though I flew to Mumbai to attend few meetings,after going through my work , I asked my assistant maya to bring me the file containing amaira's details, she was too good to be true, too honest , when I went through her file , I noticed that she was good in academics , I doubt why she didn't go for masters , I mean with this high score and she never took leave apart from , that one week and for that manoj guy , I will take care of him later.when found her number , I saved it in my phone as Wifey..♥️
I never thought I would fall in love, marriage apart, and now here I am getting all tensed up about getting married, as mom said my ammu is the best for me.
My ammu huh!? My inner self mocked, she was too good and naive and not to forget shy, wait till i get my hands on you.
The next two days passed with work and I flew back to banglore ,as my meeting ended late, I wasn't able to pick ammus family ,so I asked my driver to go pick them up .I reached home and freshened up , mom and mainly dad was too excited to meet her and family, they arrived we exchanged casualties, and mom asked me to show ammu around the house, that's her way of saying talk ,so without any delay I caught her hand and dragged her around the house and when we reached garden ,she was so nervous to talk, so I asked if she is okay with the marriage ,and thought for sometime and started blabbering ,she was too cute to resist ,was looking so cute in her peach anarkali, I want to smash my lips on her rose ones but instead I gave a peck on her cheek , she went all red...omg! For just the cheek kiss...she will be death of me, I murmured sorry and before she could say anything ,varsha walked in asking for our presence ,pandit ji told that we should get married in a month,we did a rokha thing by exchanging rings, and we went for dinner,she was trying to avoid me and so I grabbed her and made her sit beside me ,I smirked at her when she looked at me ,as If asking to leave her left hand I was holding

I choked on my water when she said her boss was cruel and dad smriked at me, mom being mom acted like she was sad and she said she will work more and try to get leave.
Ow,my poor ammu ,everyone are playing with you, she didn't even notice when her mom and varsha smilied, when she said I was cruel.
Then they bid their byes, I hugged her and whispered miss me into her ears
When they went off, mom and dad teased about being cruel, I went to my room and texted, I was schoked knowing that she was working, true I am strict to my employees but I never deprive them from leaves,when I asked her about this she said her superior denied her half-day leave to take Saritha ma to medical check-up ...my blood boiled
