Y/N POV:
Ironwood places his scroll down on the table projecting chess pieces with a Black Queen Piece representing Salem.
Ironwood: Now, Salem is approximately minutes away before she gets here with her army of Grimm.
Ironwood: I have multiple fleets of airships to handle any flying Grimm, I need any Huntsmen and Huntresses that have the ability of flight to join up with them while the others will join the ground forces to defend Atlas.
Ironwood: Also be aware that Tyrian and possibly Hazel, Emerald, and Mercury may already be here to cause disorder or save Watts.
Qrow: I'll handle Tyrian.
Raven: I'll join you.
They glare at each for a bit until Qrow gives in.
Qrow: (sighs) Alright.
Ironwood: If they save Watts our technology will be turned against us like it was at Beacon so I need you Robyn with your truth Semblance to guard him as a counter for Emerald's illusionary Semblance.
Robyn: Understood.
Ironwood: Robyn will also need backup so who volunteers.
Taiyang: I'll do it.
Ironwood: Understood.
Ironwood: Our objective is to take down Salem's forces and hopefully force her to retreat.
Ozpin: Salem may be immortal but she's failed time and time again let's make sure she fails once more.
Everybody: Yeah!
We all head out of Atlas Academy as I along with Penny, Karen, Weiss, Winter take flight to join the Atlas's air forces.
Y/N: (Here goes...)
I change Yue to her Dual Pistols to prepare for the ranged assault as multiple Manticores and Sphinx's charge at us.
I start gunning down the horde alongside the others as Penny fires her laser, Weiss and Winter firing shots of dust, and Karen slashing the air sending fire arcs.
The airships rain down a barrage of bullets as the horde numbers start to lessen.
Y/N: (There goes some of their numbers)
Yue switches to her Assault Rifle mode as I continue to shoot a barrage of bullets while flying forward into the horde taking down any charging at me.
Y/N: (Keep it going Yue!)
Yue: (Got it!)
Miyuki: (Are we gonna start our plan?)
Koyuki: (Not yet we need a clear shot at Salem if we're gonna make this work)
Koyuki: (Y/N, you remember what you have to do right?)
Y/N: (Finding an opening will be tough but there's no room for complaining!)
Qrow POV:
Raven and I continue to fly around Atlas in our bird forms in search of Tyrian as I perch on a rooftop to see he's on the run alongside some Sabyrs.
Qrow: (There!)
I caw at Raven signaling her to follow me as we fly above him as we change back to human form.
Qrow: (angrily) Tyrian!
He looks up as I swing Harbinger down on him as he uses his tail to block my strike.
Tyrian: How's a going killer?
Qrow: (enraged) Shut the hell up!
I push him off as Raven cuts down the Sabyrs behind me.
Raven: Qrow, calm down!
Raven: You're just gonna bring more Grimm to us!
Qrow: (grunt) Cover me...
Qrow: This bastard is gonna pay for what he did to Clover!!
I swing at him from the right as he blocks with his tail, I change Harbinger to its scythe mode spinning to the left forcing him to jump over it.
As he jumps I kick him while he's in mid air and change Harbinger to its shotgun mode and fire at him three times.
He flips in the air landing on his tail as I charge at him with him blocking my thrust with his claws, before moving his tail out and drop kicking me a few feet away.
Qrow: (Damn it...)
I rebound as we both run beside each shooting round after round with each other with each shot deflecting off the other.
I spot a loose shop sign as I increase my aura, Tyrian charges at me as I jump over him and knee him in the face as I turn and slash across his chest knocking him under it.
Qrow: (pointing up) Above you.
Tyrian does as I say as the sign lands on top of him.
Tyrian: Gah!
His Aura flickers as he let's out a scream of rage as his tail pokes out from the sign and he rips through it.
Qrow: (Just a little longer)
He charges at me as I sidestep out of the way and punch him in the face and switch to my scythe land a vertical slash across his chest as he leans back and hits my chest with his claws causing my Aura to flicker.
Tyrian: (manical laughter) Time to meet up with the kid!
Ruby POV:
More Grimm continue to charge at us as Yang, Blake, Oobleck, Port, Glynda, and I fight against them.
I spin in a cyclone with Crescent Rose decapitating a pack of Sabyrs before changing my weapon to its sniper mode as Glynda uses her telekinesis to hold more Grimm still as I gun them down along with Yang and Blake.
Glynda: Just a couple more!
I turn to see Oobleck and Port gunning down more of them as I hear a loud growl in the distance seeing two Alpha Megoliath's.
Yang: You can't be serious!
We stand our ground as they charge towards us until I hear someone yell.
???: Stay!
The Megoliath's stay in place as Marrow walks in front of us.
Marrow: No hard feelings right?
Ruby: (smiles) Not at all.
Harriet charges in running creating a cyclone lifting them off the ground as Vine uses his Semblance to throw Elm hitting them both with her Hammer instantly killing them.
Harriet: Let's keep this going Ace-Ops!
Marrow, Elm, Vine: Right!
I smile at our new help before using my Semblance to join back in the fight.
3rd Person POV:
Robyn and Taiyang stand outside of Watts locked in cell.
Taiyang: Any idea on what to expect?
Robyn: No clue, from what their files say their crafty and tactical especially with her Semblance at play.
Taiyang: Yeah...
Robyn: So, what made you decide to join me?
Taiyang: Mercury messed with my daughter, so it's my job as her father to make him pay.
Robyn: Heh, hopefully they don't show up.
A distant explosion is heard as the two look at each other.
Taiyang: Speak of the devil.
Taiyang: Stay here I'll check it out.
He runs into the hallway as Robyn prepares her crossbow until she sees Taiyang again.
Robyn: What was it?
Taiyang: False alarm it was just from the fights up above.
Robyn: Okay...
Taiyang: We should check on Watts.
Robyn: (skeptical) Why....?
Taiyang: They could be using the explosion as a diversion to get to Watts.
Robyn: (skeptical) Right...
Robyn: Just let me put the code in.
She walks to the keypad as Taiyang follows close behind.
Robyn: You know this was a really smart plan.
Taiyang: Right, gotta keep everybody safe and accounted for.
Robyn: Yep safe and..
She grabs Taiyang's arm using her Semblance as her Aura changes to red.
Robyn: (punches Tai) Accounted For!
After punching Tai his image changes to Emerald.
Emerald: How?!
Robyn: I always find the truth.
Robyn fires at her with multiple arrows as Emerald deflects them with her sickles, Emerald fires her guns as Robyn tanks through the shots with her shield and lands a roundhouse kick to her face knocking her back a few feet.
???: Gah!
Mercury comes crashing in with Tai chasing after him.
Taiyang: You're not getting away!
He punches Mercury again with Robyn punching Emerald forcing the both of them to crash into each other.
Robyn and Tai get back with each other as Emerald and Mercury recomposing themselves.
The two pairs circle around each other waiting for the other to attack.
Emerald: We are getting Watts out of there.
Robyn: Not a chance in hell.
Taiyang: (to Mercury) You messed with my daughter back at the Vytal Festival made her look like a monster.
Mercury: Calm down superdad, or I'll take you down like I did with my old man.
The two pairs charge at each other full speed.
Meanwhile Oscar/Ozpin along with Ironwood are in his office monitoring the condition of the army.
Ironwood: So far no casualties and her numbers are slowly diminishing.
Oscar: Good if we can just keep up this pace we-
Suddenly the door is kicked open as Hazel stands there with Dust Crystals. Stabbed into his arms.
Hazel: Ozpin...
Oscar: Hazel...
Ironwood: I recognize you from the files on Haven.
Hazel: I will have my revenge on Ozpin no matter the cost.
Oscar prepared himself to fight as Ironwood walks in front of him with his pistols out.
Ironwood: If you want revenge on Ozpin.
He fires his dual pistols equipped with Fire dust at Hazel causing an explosion knocking him away.
Ironwood: You'll have to go through me.
The scene changes back to Qrow still fighting Tyrian as both crash through a wall with their Aura's broken.
Tyrian: We've seen how this goes.
Qrow: Not this time.
They charge at each as Tyrian tries to use his tail to sting Qrow, who uses Harbinger to parry and land a slash across his chest causing Tyrian's blood to spill from his wound as all he does his laugh manically.
He crazily charges at Qrow aggressively assaulting him as Qrow is barley able to counter his flurry of blows, until Tyrian lands a strike on Qrow's right leg causing him to scream in pain until he punches him in the face sending him near a wall.
Tyrian slowly walks over as Qrow struggles to stand back up.
Tyrian: (swinging his tail) End of the line bird.
He goes to bring his stinger down when suddenly he gets hit with a ball of electricity shocking him.
Raven runs up to Qrow.
Raven: You okay?!
Qrow: (coughing) Fine.
She helps him up as Qrow recomposes himself with Tyrian still recovering from the small shock.
Qrow: Let's end this.
Raven: Right...
The Branwen twins charge at him with a flurry of slashes as Tyrian deflect the blows struggling to keep up until Raven knocks his weapons out of his hands as Qrow charges in.
Tyrian smirks ready to use his stinger as Qrow readies himself to end this in a fatal blow with Harbinger.
Tyrian: (I got him)
He moves his tail ready to sting him only for a small miracle to occur as his tail completely misses him stabbing into the ground.
Tyrian: (I missed...?!)
Qrow then stabs his sword straight through his chest as Harbinger is completely soaked in blood.
Tyrian: (tears falling down his face with blood running down his mouth) My Mis...tress...
His eyes go dark as he lays on the ground in his own blood.
Qrow looks forward breathing heavily as he sees Clover staring back at him.
Qrow: (Thank you... for the good luck back there...)
Clover nods in response before disappearing as Qrow passes out from exhaustion.
Back with Y/N and the others Salem's flying Grimm fleet numbers continue to diminish as the opening to Salem is getting closer and closer.
Y/N: (We're almost there!)
The Atlas air fleet with the Huntresses continue to destroy her numbers until Salem smirks and let's out a laugh causing them all to stop.
Salem: (mockingly) Prepare yourselves..
Everyone questions what she means until Y/N senses her intentions.
Y/N: Spread apart!
The Whale Grimm let's out a loud roar as a large red blast of energy is fired from its mouth.
The blast travels forward as nearly half of the air fleet is destroyed.
Karen: Such power...
Weiss: With only one blast...
Winter: She nearly took down the entire fleet.
Y/N: Damn it!
They snap outta of it as more Grimm continues to attack them.
Y/N: (If she fires another blast like that we're all done for)
Mizuki: (It seems like it takes a lot of time to charge)
Koyuki: (5 minutes is all we have before she fires again)
Yue: (Mom, Auntie's, I have a plan)
Y/N: (What is it Yue?)
Yue: (Just gain some distance and warn the others)
Y/N: (Got it)
She slashes down more Grimm before taking down a whole swarm with an Aura Arc.
Suddenly she senses another blast charging up from Salem.
Y/N: Here comes another one! Everyone get away!
The others do what she says as Y/N flies in the line of fire.
Y/N: (What now Yue?)
Yue: (Just keep your aura up and I'll do the rest)
Y/N charges up her Aura as Yue changes to a new form.
Y/N, Mizuki, Koyuki: (A railgun...?)
Y/N: (smiles) That's my little moon.
The Grimm Whale fires it's blast as Y/N fires her own.
The two beams clash as the Grimm tries to overpower Y/N as she returns the favor.
Her blast continues to push back the Grimm's as her blast hits it dead on.
Y/N: (Amazing!)
The smoke clears to show half of Salem's fleet was destroyed yet the Grimm whale was left unharmed.
Y/N: No way!
The Grimm groans before recomposing itself.
Salem: Impressive actually had me scared there.
Y/N: (It's skin is too tough)
Her attention is diverted as Penny flies forward.
Y/N: Penny what are you doing?!
Penny: I am taking down that Whale.
She flies through the swarm as the Grimm whale opens its mouth as she flies inside of it.
Y/N, Winter, Weiss: Penny!
Salem smirks at her apparent victory of capturing the Winter Maiden until the Grimm Whale stops moving.
Salem: What?!
Suddenly Ice erupts from its bodies as Salem sprouts Grimm Wings to see what happening to her creation.
Ice continues to erupt from throughout its body until it let's out one last roar as Ice erupts from its mouth.
The Whale completely encased in ice starts to crack as Penny flies out with her sword as the Whale fades into dust.
Winter: She did it!
Weiss: Way to go Penny!
Penny flies back to the group as the fleet closes in on Salem with a now enraged eruption.
Salem: How... Dare you!
Magical circles form around her as lightning strikes down some airships.
Y/N: (She's open!)
Y/N flies through the swarm taking down any opposition along the way as she nears Salem, who turns to see her at the last second.
Y/N: (I'm borrowing your move Akemi)
She reaches her hand out and grabs Salem's arm as the two are engulfed in a pure light.
Salem looks around to see she's no longer in the air but a filed covered in Ice with snow falling.
Salem: Where am I?
Y/N: You're in my world now.
Y/N lands in front of her as the two stare at each other.
Salem: So, you're this so called "Black Snow Empress."
Y/N: I am and...
She places a hand over her face as Miyuki's mask forms.
Y/N: I'm going to end this.
