Hi readers,
In the last few days, as protests have spread across the USA and other parts of the world, I have been attempting to find a way to give my thoughts on what is happening. As a White person, it is clear to me that I will never fully understand the fear and injustice that is a constant part of life as a Black person, but it is my duty as a human being to fight with them for the equality they deserve. Black Lives Matter. For this reason, I have decided to make donations to a few of the charities working towards this goal. I urge you all to do the same. I am aware that a lot of us are on low incomes or may have no income at all, but anything that you can afford to give is enough. If you cannot donate, please share the links with those that can.
