I look out of my window in the new apartment I just finished packing in. The scene is great and I'm happy that at least I'm a little bit closer to the workplace in my new apartment than my former house where I left the little part of my family I have.
Today is the day, I'm going on a business meeting with my boss. I'm a little nervous since I don't even know him.
I've already made up my mind that I'll be fine with any unit I'm assigned to cause I know I'm smart enough. I offered Business Administration in college.
Checking the time on my phone, I rush and get dressed for the business meeting. I take a little shower, get dressed and take my phone and purse then I'm off.
Dressed in an African fitting dress which reaches right beneath my knee I enter the car and head to Launches Restaurant with the help of the location he sent me. I quickly type the location address in the GPS app on my phone.
I reach the restaurant earlier than I expected and entered the gorgeous restaurant,clutching my purse.
I'm quickly met by a waiter who sends me directly to the table where the boss is seated. I sit down and trying to cover up my nervousness, I look around and I spot Ben, the guard who was obscuring my way I later learned was called Shawn and a guy I'm not so familiar with.
I send them a smile and I was about to wave them when the boss cleared his throat, bringing my full attention to him . Trust me if I tell you that I've forgotten my boss's name.
"What would you like to drink?" the waiter I just realised was there asks me.
"Just for a starter, I'll go for watermelon juice" the boss says smiling at me. I smile back, what do you expect!
He expects you to order a drink, girl not to sit there smiling at him like a girl who just lost her memory.
"Oh water" I say quite happy with myself for giving a quick answer.
"Water has already been provided" he says pointing to the water in front of both of us. He chuckles.
Oh God! When would you stop embarrassing yourself!
"Okay then I'll go for orange juice"
"Sure" the waiter says, taking his leave.
Oh God I'm left alone with my boss.
"So. How have you been?" he asks, as if we've known each other for sometime.
"Great"
"I've been good also. So where do you live" Why is he talking like we've known each other for sometime!
"Vhydalz Apartment"
He mouths an "o"
"So what business were you into before I employed you"
"I just completed college a year ago and I've not been into any business nor worked for any one."
"Oh really. So if you completed college a year ago, then what were you doing"
This question caused my heart to beat. What was this guy up to.
Shut up and answer the damn question.
"Oh I had some family staff to take care of at my former house and I just began my search for a job,a month ago."
"Oh Okay. Your name?"
"Ann Mosley"
"I hope you remember mine, don't you" he asks me taking a sip of the juice the waiter brought in a few minutes ago.
"Err..." I start pretending to be remembering. He chuckles.
"Its Jaden Goldberg" he says, with a chuckle.
I take a sip of my orange juice to hide my tomato face.
"Yeah" I say placing my glass down.
"Which college?"
"Grant college"
"Oh. What course?"
"Business Administration"
"So, what unit do you want to occupy in the company" he says much to my surprise.
I can say manager, can't I ?
"Anything would do sir" I say trying to be as polite as I can.
"So from tomorrow, you are officially going to be my secretary Ben would help you get familiar with the job"
"I thought you already had one, Natalie"
He looks pissed right now so looks at his left side where Ben and the rest are, but I don't think he's looking at them."I'm sorry"
I didn't want to get on his bad side.
"Never mind. But the reason why I'm making you my secretary is because I've fired Natalie"
He said free of any emotions.
"Oh. Is it because of me" I asks him and he frowns, then releases his face from his frown which immediately turns into a smile.
"No no. Don't blame yourself for someone's failure. After all you warned her didn't you?" I nod in the affirmative.
"Yeah and she lied. I hate lies." He ends with a smile.
"Okay. Thank you"
"Welcome. What would you like to have? We'll be eating with the guys" he says nodding in Ben and the others direction.
"Sure. I'll just have rice and gravy stew and any thing that comes with it."
"I'll just have the same with salad and chicken" he says as the other guys come over.
"Hi" they all say as they take their seat.
They talk and laugh about random things as I watch them and talk only when I'm called in till the food arrives.
"LETS EAT" Caleb, the driver says whilst opening his food first, receiving an unapproving look from Mr Goldberg.

Today is the day I officially become a secretary for a rich hottie like my boss. I am going to contribute to the economic sector of this country, gain money and take care of my little family.
"Good morning, Miss Mosley" Shawn says with a smirk and I remember the business meeting. We had a really great time that day.
"Gods morning, Shawn" I respond sending the whole guard team ,a smile.
"Hello,Miss Mosley" Ben says leading me to the elevator again.
"Hi, Mr Murphy"
"Its just Bernard or Ben, Miss Mosley"
"And its just Ann, Ben" I say , making us both laugh.
Through our whole journey in the elevator which always takes us a maximum if twenty five to thirty minutes,he tells me what my work is about.
Exiting the elevator, he hands me Mr Goldberg's appointments ,meeting events and dates and leads me to the place where Natalie used to be. He leaves me and enters Mr Goldberg's office which was directly opposite mine.
I look through his schedules and the first appointment was with Feather Art Company.
"Mr Goldberg wants to see you in his office right now ,Ann" Ben says coming out of the office.
I leave what I'm doing and enter Mr Goldberg's office and immediately take my seat in front of him. He looked occupied in what he was doing so much.
"Good morning, Mr Goldberg" I greet, bringing his attention to me.
"Oh yeah. Good morning,Ann glad you are early today. We will be doing a presentation this Friday on a movie at Feather Arts Company. They are the leading company when it comes to movies. For my first appointment, we have them which would be in a few minutes time. I just want to tell you that we will meet after today to discuss the movie . The company with the best movie would be acted."
"Well noted" I say after writing the last piece of information on paper.
"Great, so at your leisure you can start thinking about it. Okay please get ready for your first conference meeting" he ends with a smile."They are just coming to tell us about the whole movie thing."
"Okay. Thanks." I say leaving. I thought all bosses were strict passed niggers.

"You were great out there, Ann" Mr Goldberg tells me giving me a thumbs up.
"Thanks" I say.
"I think she's naturally great" Ben says giving me as smile.
"Thanks ,Ben"
"Next you have a date with Chantel at 5:00pm." I tell him.
"Sure so you have rest of the day to yourself. " he says sending me a smile and entering his office.
I get to my desk and start working on tomorrow's appointments and the movies Mr Goldberg of me about.

"Today has been a great day" I tell Ben whiles leaving the office."See you tomorrow"
"See you too"
I enter the elevator and leave the office immediately. I'm in a hurry to call my Gran. I greet Shawn and the guards and head home immediately.
