Nettlestrike purred next to you. His body was leaning against yours. You wake up to a cat prodding you awake. It was Pebbleshade.
"Yes?" You ask.
"Can I ask you something? In private."
You nod and carefully stand up. She leads you out into the clearing.
"Wait here." She ran over to Hailstars den.
After a few short moments, she came back out.
"Follow me."
Pebbleshade takes you to the meadow. The butterflies flutter around. Finally she spoke,
"I know about you and Nettlestrike."
You gasped.
"No!"
She laughed and said,
"Don't try to hide it! I know he likes you."
"Nettlestrike loves me?"
"It's obvious!"
As you though for a moment she spoke again.
"Show him some love."
"Yea yea sure." You giggle.
After a silent moment, Pebbleshade broke the silence.
"In expecting kits!" She burst out.
"With who?"
"Blazewing!"
"Congrats! How many?"
"Silverstripe said four."
"That's a paw full."
She nodded and signed.
"We should be heading back to camp now."
On the way back to camp, Pebbleshade caught a blue robin and you caught a water vole.
As you set down your catch Pebbleshade nudges you to Nettlestrike. His eyes light up when he sees you.
"Told you." Pebbleshade whispers.
