"Lori, well the other day was joyous", Lauren's voice filled the small calling device called iPhone.
" I had a great time also Lauren so no need to thank me",Lorelei answered while giggling. After they had Ice cream and pizza together on that afternoon yesterday they became more close than ever.
Lorelei still remembered their laughter as she taught Lauren how to eat pizza and other foods without any fork and knife. The girl was just really well mannered for Lorelei and honestly she enjoyed it, every bits of it.
Lauren fiddled with her delicate long fingers as she was about to offer the other their girl into coming with her. Ask her already Laura, its just a friendly outing not anything else, go on. Lauren took a few deep breathes.
"Say Lori, I want to go somewhere I've always wanted, do you uhm would join me if that's okay with you and—"
"Of course I would Lauren, I'd love to", Lorelei interrupted her while chuckling. This made Lauren's nervousness fade after hearing Lori's confirmation of coming with her and the chuckle was a big bonus for her that made her lips lift into a wide smile.
"Okay, let's meet an hour from now", Lauren decided their time going together and added where they would meet.
They both hung up and readied in their upcoming hang out about an hour from now.
Lauren was full of smiles as she went into her attached bathroom in her room and took a short yet refreshing bath. She already chose her dress for today yesterday, she already thought that Lorelei would accept her offer since the girl told her her uneventful plans for today and likewise Lauren is an opportunity seeker.
She curled her golden hair and applied some touch of light make up on her face, just blush on and lip gloss on her pinkish lips and no mascara since she already had a natural long and thick lashes and no other heavy make-up, she don't want to look like a push over or either a clown.
She wears her white knee high white sundress with a pair of flat brown boots, since she already thought that it would be a sunny day today and indeed she was right.
She let her golden curled locks loose and went downstairs and said a quick goodbye to her adopted parents that she always been and always have treated like a family like they treated her and she was thankful for that.
She checked some of her things in her purse before going out and towards the garage where her black Porsche is waiting and already set to go. Her plan was going smooth and rode to Lorelei's apartment 15 minutes ahead of their agreement. She wants to surprised the girl and they would go together directly to where she wanted to go and being with Lorelei into her wanted go place was more than enough after being locked all her life.
She went into the elevator towards the 2nd floor where Lorelei and her dad were and ignoring the stares of the passerby and wore her summer sunglass. She walked into the known door and knocked a few times and was opened by a man in his mid 40's and he was a good looking man with green-grey eyes. She already know who it was.
"I'm here to see Lorelei your good sir", her Irish accent echoed a bit and she tried to hid it with her almost mastered American one's but it didn't stop Brad to noticed it and smiled amusedly at the girl in front of him.
" You must be Lauren,come in come in",Brad ushered her and stepped aside for the girl to come in.
Lauren thanked him and followed him after closing the door and sat on the cozy grey couch. She scanned the spacious looking house.
Lorelei came out of her room ready and greeted Lauren who was looking at her with a smile. She smiled back and they both walked out of the apartment before saying goodbye to Brad.
"I didn't expected this Lauren", Lorelei chuckle beside her now speaking her thought since she haven't did earlier. Lauren smiled at that and they both got in her black Porsche and rode away to where they're going.
Lorelei asked Lauren where they'd going but the other girl stayed mysterious and answered short or with a small hum but her smile still visible. Lorelei nodded and understand Lauren's mysteriousness side.
The whole ride was full of comfortable silence. Lorelei's eyes widen in realization as Lauren parked her car in the parking lot before they got off.
" I can't believed its just the amusement park", Lorelei can't help but chuckled beside Lauren. The amusement park was full with people since its Sunday and Sunday was family day.
Lauren was a bit nervous since she was foreign to this but excitement was also eating her up and Lorelei must've noticed it since she grab Lauren's hand swiftly which cause Lauren to be caught of guard.
They ate different kind of snacks and Lorelei noticed how Lauren would cutely react to the corn dog and the puffy cotton candy. They almost rode all the rides. They both can't help but to laugh at some small two little boys who hit them. They thought the two boys was really cute and small and awed a few times.
The roller coaster they rode was epic and since this big city amusement park was new to them they had a lot of fun together.
They stopped for lunch in a restaurant and ordered they're chosen foods. All fun and smiles were shown until Lauren saw a few familiar guys who wear expensive black suits and a well known royalty logo of the royal family.
"Hey Lauren when did you learn your British ac—"
Lorelei didn't got the chance to finished her sentence when she was immediately drag by Lauren towards the opposite direction of the big opened door and towards the kitchen.
Lauren opened her purse and wore back her trusted sunglass and give Lorelei the other extra one especially for her. She thought of this scenarios already but she didn't really thought that it would really happen especially when she's here having a great time of her life, her freedom with someone she wants to.
But in the first place coming here was a big risk. She scolded herself mentally for her selfish desire and it cause her staying out of the track was now in reach by them.
Lorelei saw how focused and serous Lauren was and just stayed quite and obliged as she wears the given sunglass by the now silent girl.
They got out of the restaurant without any of the staff noticing and Lauren was thankful for it big time and they both got into her Porsche in silence and drove off to Lauren's house.
They arrived 5 minutes earlier than the usual and Lorelei still stayed quite. They both got inside and was greeted by the couple who smiled at them warmly. Lauren hugged them and drag Lorelei in the wrist swiftly but softly after their short greetings. Lorelei still stayed silent and obliged after sensing Lauren's anxious and frustrated look and Lauren was greatful for it.
They got in Laurens room shortly and Lauren closed the door shut and locked it from the inside. She was about to drop all her secrets now in front of the girl she grown close to in a short period of time.
She know that Lorelei wants answer and waited for her to say something. She took a deep breathes before locking her crystal blue eyes to grey ones, greyish that she had ever encounter in her life.
"Lorelei, first of all my name is not really what you thought is", Lauren started and she heard a small gasped from Lorelei and urged her to continue by the brunette's silence.
" I ran away from home with a right amount of money to come here in America. I don't want to be engaged Lorelei by some stranger I don't know and even love—"
Lorelei's thought was running wild every word Lauren speak of, every scenarios, every endings and conclusion and it was absorb.
"I escaped victorious but I know they'll find me sooner or later so I disguised myself. I was on the street and was scared until Kory and Greg found and adopted me and I was very thankful for them. They became my adopted parents and their family accepted it even they haven't seen me even in pictures—"
She took a few breathes and looked into Lorelei's beautiful grey eyes and saw that she was listening and absorbing her shocking revelation and even for her it was still an absolute absorb and shocking.
"I started a fresh and new life in the name of Lauren Johnson at first and Kory and Greg even their family didn't suspect a made up name and took me then I become Lauren McKellar and last month started in St. Prescott academy with my lame disguise—"
It was bitter to her mouth remembering the torture and the crucial and cruel unfair judgments of people until she let herself come out of the uncomfortable yet comforting and away from the attention new self but she was not strong enough to withstand it.
Catching up and her grades are no problem since she was home schooling back where she was and transferring became easy also and she broke no sweat since Kory and Greg are very wealthy though she didn't depend on it a lot. And Greg just had a lot of connection and was good friends and partners with the academy's owner.
She started her new look a week before Lorelei West transferred and the ones who mistreated her bowed down to her feet and became one of the most popular and adored person in the academy, almost as the Tanya Prescott.
"And now the time has come, they must've found me Lorelei", Lauren's calm and smiley self now gone and replaced by nervousness.
Lorelei was still hella confused but still manage to comfort Lauren and it caught Lauren off guard since she thought Lorelei would still contemplate all the things she just said but that's one of Lorelei's threat she likes and grown to adored to.
" Its okay, you'll gonna make it, we'll gonna make it, just be positive Lauren ",Lorelei hush and comforted the crystal blue eyed girl. Lauren smiled at what Lorelei called her and she would probably laugh at her if they're in a different situation right now.
Lorelei thought that everything was far from okay and her gut feeling told her that Lauren haven't told her the rest and the remaining major details, she didn't even sure to call the girl Lauren since the crystal blue eyed girl admitted it to her. They all been fooled and manipulate by the girl but and it came into Lorelei's mind but didn't stick with it. 'Everything has a reason to happen'. Her grandmother voice still lingered in her mind.
" I'm not Lauren Johnson or even Lauren McKellar —Im Laura Westfield, youngest princess of Ireland. I'm an Irish princess Lorelei"
And it shocked Lorelei to the core. She was now hugging and comforting a princess but not just a princess but an Irish princess, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth of England.
