"I swear to God," I mocked him while making a face. "Tiktoker ka?" umupo ako sa kama.
"I'm not lying," he handed me a reservation ticket. I rolled my eyes bago padabog na kinuha 'yon.
Nang tinignan ko ito ay nakalagay nga ang name ni tito Cef roon. Ngumisi siya bago ko pa ibalik sa kan'ya 'yon. I stood up and looked around. May balcony at pwedeng lumabas through a wooden sliding door. Tumayo ako at tinignan naman ang bathroom. It was sort of the same size with the bedroom. Two bathtubs and a shower, and the other side has a long sink and mirror.
Nang nadaanan ko siya ay inaayos niya ang mga dala naming bag. He was crouching. It was just clothes and some snacks, though. Ang iba ay tinatransfer niya sa small fridge.
"How long we'll be staying here?" tanong ko nang bumalik sa loob.
"Maybe a week?"
"What the hell?" I reached the pillow on the bed at binato 'yon sa kaniya. He just laughed at me, as always. "I have to go home as soon as possible!"
I sat on the bed while I was glaring at him. Pinulot niya ang unan na binato ko sa kan'ya. Nagsimula siyang maglakad papunta sa direksyon ko.
His face was serious and I was raising a brow para makita niyang hindi ako takot sa kan'ya. He leaned in front of me while his hands were touching the bed, one holds the pillow.
My face remained the same until he went closer. What the heck is he doing? The atmosphere tightened.
My eyes widened when our lips were just an inch away. I turned my face to the right side and he did the same. He smirked while catching my face like it was a game.
Maslalo lang tumaas ang kilay ko. Agad kong tinungkod ang dalawang siko sa gilid bago ko tinaas ang isa kong paa. I kicked his abdomen so he moved back and stood up. Natuwa ako sa ginawa ko nang makitang may bakas ng dumi ng sapatos sa white shirt niya.
"I was joking," he made a fist in front of his mouth, laughing.
I rolled my eyes, "Joker na itatawag ko sayo," I said in a monotone, I was determined. He's always making fun of me.
He chuckled and bit his lower lip, "Baby na itatawag ko sayo," ginaya niya ang tono ko saka ngumiti.
I scoffed in disbelief, "You dumbass!" tumayo ako at tumakbo palapit sa kaniya.
He was just walking backwards but I couldn't reach him for Pete's sake! Kating-kati na ang kamay kong saktan siya.
I was gritting my teeth the whole time like an annoyed kid. But he was just laughing and avoiding my hands effortlessly. His direction was going back to bed kaya nang makatapat siya sa kama, I pulled his hair.
"Aray ko," he said many times but he was laughing. He is so annoying!
Binitawan ko na siya at tinignan ng masama. His right hand was fixing his hair, he even did a soundless laugh while doing it.
Kumakain na kami ngayon ng dinner sa isang restaurant na parte parin ng resort. Ang schedule namin dito ay 7 PM. Mas namangha lang ako nang makita ang mga ancestral buildings pero sa loob talaga nito ay modern hotel rooms.
"Don't get mad na, uuwi rin naman tayo bukas," he's trying so hard for me to talk.
I rolled my eyes before I sipped on my cocktail which was served earlier. We left the place when we're done eating.
Naglalakad na kami ngayon pabalik sa room namin. It feels like we're walking in the night 100-years ago. Ang mga ilaw lang na matatanaw ay nasa kalye at may mga dumadaan pang mga kalesa.
Nauuna akong maglakad kaya nasa likuran ko lang si Travis. Tahimik lang akong naglalakad pero nang may kumalabit sa'kin ay lumingon ako sa likod. Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko nang hindi ko nakita si Travis nang inikot ko pa ang tingin ko. Madilim pa naman sa kinaroroonan ko ngayon.
I continued walking and just ignored what happened. I thought Travis was just behind me. Pinagtitripan niya nanaman ako. Binilisan ko nalang ang lakad ko. "So annoying!" my brows furrowed while I did a fist.
I heard a laugh from Travis bago pa niya 'ko akbayan at sumabay sa paglalakad ko.
"Sorry na kasi," his right hand reached for the hand na nakaakbay sa'kin. "Baby," he laughed.
"You better stop," umalis na'ko sa akbay niya at naglakad ulit.
"Why? Are you falling?" he asked following me.
"No! I'm walking, duh!" I sarcastically said.
He chuckled, "Witty!"
"Alam mo tumigil ka na," seryoso kong sabi. "Hindi ka nakakatuwa."
"Okay, baby," aniya. I faced him and made an annoyed sound. He just smiled watching me do that.
Naglagay ako ng dalawang unan sa pagitan namin bago kami natulog. Sa sumunod na araw, mas maaga akong nagising kaysa sa kaniya. I felt that my body wants to do exercise so I've decided to do a morning run at 5 AM.
Pagkatapos ng dalawang oras ay pabalik na 'ko sa room namin, tumatakbo parin. Nakita ko si Travis na tumatakbo ng mabagal papunta sa'kin. He's still wearing his night clothes, though.
"Why did you go out alone, huh?" bungad nito sakin. He sounded mad kaya 'di ako nakapagsalita. I'm now walking because of him.
"Pake m—" he cut me off.
"Maraming pervert dito sa labas. Mag-ingat ka nga," his brows furrowed a bit while looking at me. Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin.
Hinila na niya ang kamay ko at wala na'kong nagawa roon. Dumiretso nalang ako sa bathroom nang makarating kami sa kwarto. I'm now wearing an orange floral dress and scandals. Travis is on his mustard floral polo and a black board shorts after taking a bath.
I raised a brow when I realized that we look like a newly weds because of the match. "Magpalit ka, hindi bagay sayo 'yan," sabi ko habang nasa harapan siya ng salamin.
"I don't want to," he said like a kid.
We have a schedule for breakfast kaya bumalik na ulit kami sa restaurant. "Lovely couple, Ma'am, Sir," the hostess greeted. Tumagal pa ang tingin nito kay Travis.
Sarkastiko akong tumawa, eto na nga ba ang sinasabi ko, "No we—" nagsalita si Travis at hinila na ang kamay ko.
"Thank you," he interwined our hands while he was already finding a seat.
"Masyado mo naman ineenjoy," ginalaw ko ang kamay naming dalawang magkahawak. Aalisin ko na sana pero hinigpitan niya lang 'yon at parang walang narinig.
"You want to take a picture?" he asked me while we were walking on the ancestral street. Kakatapos lang ng almusal namin.
"Gusto mo lang ata makipagpicture sa'kin, e, sus," sabi ko. "Kaya mo ba 'ko pinakasalan para lang—"
"What are you saying? I'll take a picture of you. Here," he pointed a view.
Nag-isip pa'ko ng ilang segundo bago um-oo at binigay sa kaniya ang phone ko.
"Model nga," he commented while I was striking poses.
He held something out of his pocket. "Inuuto mo lang ata ako, e," I scratched the tip of my nose. Inayos ko pa ng bahagya ang buhok ko na hinahangin.
"Oh," inabit niya sa'kin ang phone ko at tinignan ko naman kaagad ang mga kuha niya.
"Ang ganda mo," aniya.
Hindi ko inalis ang tingin sa mga litrato ko bago nagsalita, "It's a fact," tumingin ako sa kaniya. Nakatapat sa'kin ngayon ang phone niya.
I bit my my lower lip as I reached for the camera and blocked the view. He chuckled and ended the video he was taking.
"Hello po," bati ni Maya sa'min nang makauwi na kami. Nadatnan namin siyang nagdidilig.
Nang makapasok ay nakita naman namin si Jen na naglilinis sa sala. Dumiretso na ako ng kwarto ko at nagpahinga. Medyo napagod ako sa byahe.
The other day ay nasa APU astro kami to practice our graduation.
"Magpapicture ka na kasi!" I was teasing Thea na kanina pa nagpapantasya sa crush niya.
"Saka na pag graduation," aniya.
"My god, mahinhin ka girl," Gwen looked at her.
"Hindi mo sure," sabi naman ni Thea.
"Sa landi mong 'yan," dagdag pa ni Clyde.
Tumigil na rin kami magdaldalan nang nagsimula nang banggitin ang field namin. Nagkita kami ni Eric nang matapos rin ang practice.
He was so clingy and he also said that he really missed me. Sabagay, halos limang araw niya rin akong hindi nakita. We were on a milktea shop when he was telling a chika from a series that he watched.
"And another thing, he should have decided further because time won't heal anything without telling his lies," he ranted.
"Yeah," sakay ko naman. He was really into the main character.
Nang pumunta kami sa parking lot ng mall ay magkatabi lang ang sasakyan namin.
"Babe," tawag niya bago pa 'ko makaupo sa driver's seat. I left the cardoor open and he walked towards me. My feet was still outside.
"Yes?" tanong ko.
"I love you," yumuko siya bago niya 'ko siniil ng halik. His hands was placed on my jaw and the other was on my nape.
I laughed in the middle of our deep kisses and placed my hands on his broad shoulder. We ended up making out inside my car.
The next day, it was my walk rehearsal to XZL. I'm now driving but I felt that something is wrong. I stopped and checked my tire, it was flat. Napasapo ako sa noo ko dahil nasa gilid lang ako ng highway.
I called mom and told her my problem. Magpapadala nalang raw siya ng tao na magpapaayos ng kotse ko since may duplicate key naman siya. I took a grab after I parked my car.
"Stop!" Ms. Vleni, one of the model handlers, yelled in front of the stage. Bumalik sa likod ang mga nakasalang na models.
"Scarlet," tinawag ako dahilan ng pagtayo ko bigla. "Yes po?" I asked.
He pointed at the middle of the stage and so pumunta naman ako roon, still wearing my heels. "Watch her walk," Ms. Vleni added.
I did my normal catwalk while doing a chin-up. My long hair was bouncing too because of it. I did a strong pose in front and walked back.
"See! Her posture didn't change," Ms. Vleni told the models. "One more time!" she called them to get back in their places.
He gestured me that I can go back to my seat. We continued watching the new XZL models being trained.
After the rehearsal, I'm wearing my duffel bag. I'm on denim shorts and croptop.
I texted Eric a while ago since I want to go on a date with him and my mom said that later night pa matatapos ayusin ang kotse ko. I checked my phone while walking on the hallway.
Eric: Here already. Take your time. Ily babe
Travis: We have dinner later. Your mom told me to pick you up. I'm waiting outside the building.
