It was 2 days until the semi-formal, which is pretty big thing at my school. This year it was girl's choice which basically means we ask out a guy to the dance....which to me is the most terrifying thing I'll have to inconture
"Sooo Y/N did you pick any one yet" Ebony asked flipping her weave across her shoulder
"She's eyeing on this white kid" Y/BFF/N smirked nudging me in the shoulder
"Oh..a white boy what's his name" Ebony asked raising her eyebrows interested
"Luke Hemmings...from science class" I whispered, recieving loud hollers and cheers
"YESSS girl that boy is fine" Ebony cheered
"Yeah, but I doubt he'll go with me..I mean have you seen him" I sighed running my fingers through my straightened hair
"You'll never know until you find out yourself" Y/BFF/N shrugged, I slightly nodded...guess ill try

"Okay class you have about 5 minutes left of class, so you can chat with your classmates beside you quietly" Ms. Gordan instructed getting mixed reactions at her instructions
Luckily I'm sitting next to Luke..so I'll guess I'll try...'here goes nothing'
"Hey um Luke can I talk to you for a sec" I asked my nerves really getting the best of me
"Sure, there's nothing better for me to do" he shrugged turning around and facing me
I breathed in ready to say it "um so you know about the dance on Friday?"
"Yeah...what about it" he asked raising an eyebrow
"Well I was wondering if you w-wanted to g-go with me" I replied fiddling with my fingers, I looked up and studied his face, he looked like he was searching if I was joking and then he suddenly started to laugh..hard
"W-what's so funny" I asked already knowing the reply I was going to receive but still in doubt
"What's funny, is that you thought I would go with you" he replied in between breaths..as my heart literally broke into pieces at his reply "I mean look at you...and then look at me, seriously what were you thinking" my eyes started to brim with tears that I forbid to fall
"So Y/N that would be a very loud no...not in a million years would I go anywhere with you" he blutly said getting up and walking out when the bell rang, and that's when I let it all out I knew this was going to happen...but here I am making a fool of myself by asking him out....man am I stupid
"Miss Y/FULL/N, you alright" Ms Gordan asked, her face coated in concern
"Yeah, just had something in my eye" I replied quickly wiping my cheeks and fast walking out of the classroom...crying all the way home
Micheal
His POV
"Come on mate, staring from another table won't get her to date you" Calum smirked making me shift my towards him giving him a glare
"I don't blame him, I mean Y/N is fit as hell...I would be crushing hard too" Luke replied as he looked towards Y/N making me frown
"Now, now Micheal dont get all possessive over something you don't have yet" Ashton smirked wiggling his eyebrows towards me, rolling my eyes I focused again on Y/N again I mean can you blame me, she's freaking gorgeous from her brown glowing skin, to her curly hair, to that oh so beautiful smile of hers...you can't really blame me from staring at her all day everyday
"For pete's go ask her out, you staring at her is crepping me the fuck out" Calum exclaimed taking a bite of his sandwich
I nodded "fine, I will ask her out" I replied getting up and walking towards her table 'what the hell am I doing' I thought as I got closer to her table 'abort mission, abort the fucking mission'
"Hi Y/N"
"Hey....Micheal what's up" she replied smiling 'okay micheal use your words'
"If you don't close your mouth now you may get flies" she laughed her beautiful laugh
"Y-yeah, um I was coming to ask you if you wanted to go to the like...t-to the movies with me on Saturday..that's if you want to l-like it's your choice you know" I said stopping myself from rambling on and on
"Oh wow, um thanks for the offer Micheal, but I think I may have to pass" she replied shrugging
"Oh"
"Yeah I mean I have a boyfriend number one but, I'll never be caught dating you no offense" I nodded this isn't the first time I girl has turned me down, I've been called ugly, unflattering, weird, awkward by so many girls..I don't even no why I try
"I hope you don't mind" she said snapping me out of my trance
"No no, I understand....see you later" I mumbled walking back to my table towards curious faces
"So how did it go" Ashton asked
"She said no" I mumbled
"That bitch, if you want me and Calum would go and beat her-"
"No ash don't...she has a boyfriend" I replied sadly

"That sucks"
I looked up and stared at her beautiful face again...guess I can dream

Your POV
'Man is that boy fine' i thought looking over at Calum Hood..THE hottest boy in your grade...probably whole school
"You should really stop thinking out loud" Y/BFF/N said chuckling
"Whatever but I'm Hella right...I mean his parents are angels for not using protection" I replied shrugging
"Uh Y/N, calm the fuck down....you don't even know if he likes black girls" Y/BFF/N shrugged taking a bits of her fries
"Well he should try some chocolate, cause all the white girls he be hanging out with...look like trash with the caked up face and shit"

"I know I am" I replied getting up
"And where the hell are you going" Y/BFF/N asked
"To ask him out duh" I replied walking towards the table consisting of him and his friends...who I guess are cute too
"Hi Calum, can I talk to you for a second" i asked
"I uh guess so" he replied getting up and leading me outside "what's up"
"There's this party at a friend's house and I was wondering if you could go with me" I asked biting the inside of my cheek, to try and calm my nerves
"Thanks but no offense, i don't date....your kind" he replied backing up a bit
My eyes widen in complete shock "whachu mean you don't date 'my kind'" I asked my voice slightly raising
"I mean I don't date black g-girls" he replied carefully
"And why is that"
"Because i find them loud, obnoxious, ghetto, uneducated, ugly, and aggressive and I personally don't want to get involved with one" he blutly said shrugging
My eyes narrowed, I swear if I wasn't in public I would be whopping his ass back to where ever the hell he came from
"You know what Calum, you can go and fuck yourself with a cactus...I feel sorry for whatever white bitch that gets with you...hope you enjoy sucking dicks" I replied slapping him in the face then walking back in the diner
"Get up, we're leaving" I said grabbing my things from the table, then grabbing the milkshake and walking towards the table
"I'm not finished tho" yelled Y/BFF/N
"Fuck" I said walking over to Calum and pouring the milkshake all over his head "you" satisfied I walked out and towards my car, Y/BFF/N not far behind
"I don't even want to hear it" I warned turning the engine already knowing what she was going to say
"No need to say it, your actions are speaking loud and clear" she replied smiling
Rolling my eyes, we drove off to another diner to eat

His POV
I couldn't wait for this school dance thing, I mean I can finally ask Y/N out..I've been waiting for this day since freshman year...and since we're juniors and I've grown hotter over the years, my self esteem is over the roof
"You ready man" Luke asked rubbing my shoulders "okay so just go up to her and be like hi I'm Ashton and Im asking you out"
"Luke it doesn't work like that, he has to first get her attention" Calum replied
"That is getting her attention"
"Not really"
"Anyways the real reason we're here is to ask her out, which your going to do...so Ashton Fletcher Irwin you ready?" Micheal asked smiling
"Yes Micheal Gordan Clifford..I am ready" I replied chuckling
"Alright go get her"
I walked towards Y/N already knowing what I was going to say...rubbing my hands on my pants i tap her shoulder
"Hi Y/N, I was wondering if-"
"If this is about the dance...that's going to be a hell no...what makes you white boys think that if you walk towards us we'll fall down to your damn knees, like no go to your blonde blue eyed bitch, because I don't need your ugly ass" she replied flipping her hair and waking away
"Dude...you got rejected...hard" Luke said as I watched her walk away in silence
"Damn is she a bitch" Micheal mumbled Calum nodding in agreement
"I'll get her next year" I said smiling, making the boys groan
