About Ava Schmit
6 months ago, I had applied for a job to be a photographer for Niall Horan on his Flicker world tour. Obviously I would love to do it so I created my portfolio and sent it in to his manager, I got an email 2 months ago that told me I got a job and would start in London on the 1st of February 2018. I had found a flat that I could rent in London for a decent price and a flight had been booked by Niall's team for the 31st of January. Although I was from Austria and my first language was German my English was good, so that wouldn't be a problem. I was so excited to move to London, meet Niall Horan and be his photographer I couldn't sleep, I had been a fan of Niall and One Direction for years and I couldn't believe I was living my dream.
I stepped off the plane, the first plane I had ever been on and walked towards the next room, where I could collect my luggage. Once I had that bag, I continued towards the collection area, where Niall had assured me there would be someone waiting for me. I followed the large man holding the banner with my name on it and stepped into a black car with tinted windows, surprised to see Niall himself sitting in the back waiting for me. "hello, it's nice to meet you, I'm Niall Horan" he said politely, holding his hand out ready to shake mine. "Oh, hi! My name is Ava Schmit" I replied nervously, shaking his hand. As the man from earlier put my bags into the boot of the car Niall and I got to know each other. "Where did you fly from?" he asked, "Vienna, Austria" I replied, "I've never been to England before". "Oh wow! It's really nice. How old are you?" he asked again, I looked up to his face and immediately felt intimidated by how blue his eyes were. I cleared my throat before saying quietly, "23". He opened his mouth to ask more questions, but the car suddenly began moving forward, so he shut it again. It wasn't long before the car was pulling up outside a tall block of flats, which I immediately recognised from the pictures. I mumbled a quick thank you to the driver and quickly grabbed my bags out the back of the car, but Niall quickly got out of the car as well and took my biggest bags. "Oh, umm, thank you Mr Horan but you don't have to" I said quickly, "call me Niall, and no I don't have to, but I want to".
Half an hour later, the door to my new flat shut and I was left on my own in there. "Scheiße" I muttered under my breath before pulling out my phone and ordering some food as I didn't have any in my new flat yet.
A/N: I hope you're enjoying the story so far, this was just a short introduction to Ava's character and her relatioonship with Niall and how she got her job. Any german I am getting from Google Translate as I don't speak German, feel free to correct me if it's wrong.
