I woke up really early this morning and went out onto my balcony and watched the sunrise over Barcelona. It was so quiet and peaceful, I could have spent hours looking over at the sea and watching people walking around the city, compared to London this was a noticeably quiet city. I jumped when I heard someone knock on the door to my hotel room. and watched as he walked over to the bed and turned on the tv,

"Did you not have a tv in your room then, Ni?" I laughed, moving to sit next to him.

"I did but it's too lonely, you don't mind do you? I thought we could get some breakfast together and then we're all going to the beach later, make the most of the sun before our flight tomorrow"

"That's fine, you know I love your company Niall. I don't have a swimsuit though"
"I'm sure one of the girls would have one, if not we can go and buy one" he replied with a shrug before picking up the room service menu and looking at it with a look of concentration on his face.

After a while, me and Niall had eaten our breakfast together and he had gone back to his room to have a shower and get dressed and I headed to Ellie's room to see if she had a spare swimsuit as she was the closest to my size out of the girls.

"Hey, Ellie! Niall said we were going to the beach today, I didn't bring a swimsuit and I was just wondering if you had a spare one I could borrow?"

"Yeah, I have two spare bikinis, just look at them and choose which one you like, they should fit you I think" she replied with a smile. Me and Ellie had become really close over the tour, she was now one of my closest friends and when we were together we always had a laugh, much like me and Niall. I looked at the bikinis and saw that they were both quite revealing and cringed internally, I wasn't massively self-conscious however I also wasn't that confident. In the end, I chose the yellow one as the bikini bottoms went a bit higher so they would cover my stomach a bit more.

"Thank you so much, Ellie. I'm going to get changed, I shouldn't be long".

I got changed and then looked into the full-length mirror in my room, I couldn't help but cringe as I saw my stomach that was definitely not flat, my saggy boobs and my ghostly pale skin. I turned to the side and tried sucking my stomach in but I knew it was no use as I couldn't just hold my breath the whole time I was out. I was dreading seeing Niall's face when he saw me, I was definitely not a Victoria Secret model like he was used to. This little crush I had on him needed to go, there was no way he would even look twice at me or anyone else who's stomach stuck out a bit. I put a white tshirt and some light blue denim shorts on over my bikini and grabbed a beach towel from the bathroom and went to open the door and find the girls and the rest of the band.

We walked together to the beach and I couldn't help but marvel at all of the sights I was seeing. I had never been to Spain before and was shocked at how pretty everything was, I wanted nothing more than to go sightseeing tomorrow however we had an early flight to catch and then a month off of touring. As soon as my feet hit the warm, golden sand I took my shoes off and continued following the others towards a quiet area of the beach where the lads put their towels down and ran straight into the sea only for Sienree to call them back to make sure they put sun cream on their pale Irish skin. As the others rushed, I hung back after applying my sun cream and sat on my towel and watched as they started splashing each other, not realising Niall was still sitting on his towel.

"You ok, darlin'?"

"Oh! Yeah I'm fine"

"You coming in the sea then?" Niall asked then pulled his shirt over his head, my breath hitched in my throat as I caught sight of his hairy, muscular chest.

"Maybe not right now" I mumbled, not wanting Niall to realise that I was slightly turned on by his bare chest but also self-conscious about your body.

"What's up? You can tell me anything you know" Niall replied as he sat down in front of me and placed his warm hand on my knee,

"I don't look like a model," I said under your breath, not thinking he would be able to hear,

"It's not like I have a six pack and I'm a model" Niall teased,

"You're hot though" I replied before I felt my cheeks warm up at the fact that I had just admitted I thought he was hot.

"Thanks love but you're a lot hotter than I am. Come on, you're beautiful and I don't think the sea cares what the people that swim in it look like" he stood up and held out his hand for me. I slowly took off my clothes, my cheeks hot as I felt Niall looking at me.

"You look really hot in that bikini" Niall whispered into my ear, heating my cheeks up even more. Could Niall Horan really think I was hot?

After you had all swam around and splashed each other enough we all got out and headed to the bar that was on the beach as the sun was setting. It was a relaxed evening after that, we all spoke about what we were going to do during our month off and laughed at whatever stupid things the band was doing.

My hazel eyes opened slowly, looking around my hotel room and sighing when I saw the time. It was already 9am so I needed to get up now if I wanted breakfast before our flight back to London. I groaned as I stood up and began getting ready for the day.

I smiled as I saw everyone waiting in the lobby ready to head to the airport, it was bittersweet though as I was going to miss our little tour family and getting to do my dream job every day, I really was living my dream and I would never be able to thank Niall enough. I kept a smile on my face until I noticed that no one else was smiling, in fact, they all looked miserable.

"Why do you all look so grumpy?" I asked, confused as to why they were acting like this. Niall took my hand and led me away from the group which only made me panic and I immediately started thinking of things I might have done that would make him fire me.

"Have you been on your phone at all this morning?" Niall asked in a scarily calm voice,

"No, why?" I must have sounded panicked because Niall took my hand again and rubbed his thumb in circles on the back of my hand.

"Some paps and fans took photos of us at the beach yesterday and they think I'm dating you because there's a picture of me holding your hand and one of me whispering in your ear," Niall said, now looking slightly stressed.

"What should I do?" I asked, extremely stressed as I thought I could lose my job over this,

"Nothing. I was just letting you know, if you want me to put out a statement then I can, it's your decision, I just want you to be safe and happy"

"So I'm not fired?"

"No! Of course not! I love ya Ava, you're an amazing photographer and an amazing friend. I just wanted to warn you, some of my fans can be quite mean about girls they think I'm dating, I just want you to know it's all bullshit" he said and I couldn't help but wrap my arms around him, he was surprised at first but quickly wrapped his arms around me as well.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you..." I just chanted into his ear, delighted that he was not firing me and he thought I was a good friend and photographer.
