TERRIFIED.
That's how I felt at the moment.
Terrified of losing someone that I truly loved.
Terrified of being alone and pitiful.
I was TERRIFIED.
TERRIFIED OF LOSING LISA.
I can't, I just can't lose her.
I can't lose her and the little angel inside of her.
I just can't.
I was sitting outside the EMERGENCY ROOM soothing my eldest daughter from balling her eyes out.
Ok. I was panicking inside but I didn't want to show Ella that. She's already so scared right now, she can't even stop crying.
I looked into her puffy eyes to see her tired and restless expression.
"Daddy, will Mommy and bean be ok? "
She looked at me.
"Yeah Ellie. Mommy and the baby will be fine. You know how strong your Mom is right. They'll be ok for sure. So, please don't cry love. " I carressed her cheeks and hugged her.
I had called Lisa's family and mine about what happened. They were on their way.
I also called my hyungs and told them.
I was in the middle of talking with Ella when my hyungs appeared.
"Hey! How is she? " RM went near me and hugged me.
"What happened Kook? " Hobi Hyung inquired.
Suga Hyung just nodded at me unable to say anything because the mood was heavy.
They sat next to me and patted me.
Jin, Jimin, V and Ro came next.
With a very pregnant Ro panicking.
"Jk, what happened? Is Lili alright? OMG, I hope she's ok. She has to be. "
She weeped.
"Baby, pls. Stop stressing. It's bad for you and the baby. " Jimin guided Ro and hugged her.
"How can I? Lili's out there probably fighting for her life and we're right here doing nothing. I can't lose her ok? You know I can't Jimin. " She sobbed some more.
"What really happened Jk? " V asked.
And then I told them what happened.
"Why are you always making my sister cry huh?" Ro accused me.
"Baby, stop blaming Jk ok? It's not his fault. We should just pray ok? Stop crying baby. " Jimin making sure Ro is ok.
"I'm sorry Jk. I'm just so scared for Lisa right now. " I just nodded at her and gave her a faint smile.
"Hey Kook. I know you're stressed out but hang in there ok? Everything will be fine. Lisa's a fighter. She'll get over this. " Jin Hyung assured me.
"Thanks Hyung. Just worried if I broke down, this little one might go ballistic. She was non-stop crying earlier. Thank God you guys came." I was now staring at my daughter who was now asleep on my lap.
We were consoling each other when the door of the ER opened revealing Dr. Kim Jisoo.
I immediately came near her and asked.
"Is Lisa ok? Is she fine? "
She smiled.
"She's in good condition. She was just stressed out. It's normal for her since she's in the first trimester of her pregnancy. You just have to make sure she eats right and stops worrying. K? All in all everything's good. Will just transfer her to a private room and let her stay here for a week. K? Don't worry. Lisa's a fighter. " She smiled and excused herself.
"Thanks Dr. Jisoo! Thank you for saving my wife. " She smiled at me and walked away.
But before she could go any further, Jin Hyung said. "Thank you honey for saving our Lisa. " He kissed her forehead and bid farewell.
Time skip
I was now in the private room for Lisa and I finally got to see her.
She looked awfully pale.
I was sitting beside her bed and caressing her hand.
"I'm sorry if I messed up babe. I'm sorry I made you sad. I just... I can't live without you. "
My hyungs and Ro decided to bring Ella to the cafeteria because she wasn't eating.
I was thankful.
They said I needed to be alone with Lisa for awhile.
I was talking to her as if she was awake.
I kissed her hand and held it tightly- afraid of letting go.
Ok. I can't hold it any longer. Shit!
I burst out into tears.
"Shit! I shouldn't be crying right now. But I can't help it. I taught I'd lost you babe. I can't. I can't. You scared me babe, you scared all of us. "
I was hella ugly crying when I heared a faint giggle.
"You look so ugly crying Jeon JungKook. "
She was awake.
My Lisa was awake.
I couldn't hold it in so I just hugged her tightly and sobbed right infront of her.
"Stop crying KooKoo. I'm fine, look! "
I saw her face and she had a faint smile on her face.
"I'm fine Kookie. No need to worry. You know I won't leave you right? And I plan of pestering and annoying for as long I live. You got that? "
I can't with this girl right now.
She was telling me to stop being emotional when moments earlier she was on the brink of death.
How the hell am I able to stop crying?
It's like nothing ever happened.
"So can you just stop crying? Ok baby Kookie?"
Ok. Why is she being cute like this?
I smiled at her and wiped my tears.
"You better not me babe. You promise alright? "
She nodded and smiled. Just then, th door swung open revealed Ella and my hyungs with Ro.
"Mommy!!!!!!!!!!" Ella ran quickly to her Mommy shoving me in the process.
She hugged and kissed Lisa.
"Mommy, promise me you won't scare me like that ever again ok? Are you ok now Mommy? "
"Yes Baby. Mommy's fine now. I'm sorry I made you worried sick about me. It's just that the little bean is at it again. "Lisa pouted.
Ella then suddenly crouched down to Lisa's tummy and whispered.
"Hey! You promised me you'd be nice to Mommy. " I watched as Ella talked to Lisa's tummy. "Next time, don't scare Noona like that ok little bean? I love you. "
I smiled. Ella's such a great sister.
I looked at Lisa to find her looking at me.
(Pls. Pretend that this is Lisa she is hugging)
"I love you so much Mommy. "
"I love you too baby." She was looking at me too when she uttered those words.
The boys all asked Lisa about her condition and Ro just sobbed tremendously infront of us.
Lisa hugged her but it didn't work.
It was hilarious. Jimin had to repeatedly soothe her and say comforting words to make her stop.
On top of all that, Lisa was just laughing out loud to Ro, saying how exaggerated Ro is.
I can't believe her.
Just wow ! Giving us all a heart attack was funny to her.
We talked for awhile.
And then the door opened revealing our parents with the kids.
To say, it was a great show to watch was an understatement. Because when both parents found out the reason why Lisa fainted they crying one moment then jumping and rejoicing the next.
I finally know why Rose was like that.
The two monsters also found out in a weird way.
It was Ella who told the twins that we were expecting a new addition to the family.
And let me tell you, their reaction was priceless.
Lia was jumping and smiling.
While the little boy, Sky was frowning.
I saw how Lisa hugged the little boy whispering in his ear.
And how he smiled afterwards.
It was not clear to me what they talked about but Sky changed his mood quickly.
It amazes me how good she was our kids.
I'm not surprised if the new baby would favor her instead of me. Lisa can win anyone's heart.
I was just constantly looking at my wife the whole time. Not minding anyone's business.
When all of sudden,
We made EYE CONTACT and then she mouthed.
"I LOVE YOU JEON. I hope you know that."
I couldn't help but just grin back at her and mouthed to her too.
"I love you too babe. Never forget. "
And right at that moment, I knew everything would be alright.
She may have startled us and gave us a fright earlier but when she smiled at me, I knew that she'll be ok.
We will be fine.
It's gonna be a long day for us here in the hospital but I'm glad my baby and my other baby is safe and happy.
