Y/N POV
I'm on tour with the cast of Newsies I'm so happy I am with an amazing cast. Smalls, its fun I will say that I enjoy every moment with the cast. Right now we are on the bus going to a new place, I don't quiet remeber where but it's close enough so that we can take the buses and not fly. As I pulled out my phone and looked at Zachary and Chaz who are sitting next to me. I pulled oven my lap top so that I can work on school work since I'm still in high school. I logged in and looked over at Zachary who was already passed out asleep.
"How does this boy fall asleep so easily?" I asked Chaz
"Maybe because he's a high school student like you" Chaz answers
"Ha ha" I responded "Very funny"
"Sorry I was trying to be funny, both of you are wet blankets when you are doing school work" Chaz said
"How long are we on the road for before we stop?" I asked already getting annoyed
"Four hours" Chaz said
I rolled eyes and went back to working on my essay for my history class, to be honest history is my least favorite subject just because I find it hard. I jumped as I felt a weight on my shoulder, I turned my head to see Zachary. Zachary at some point woke up and he is now looking at my essay.
"You know it's rude to look over people's shoulders" I said
"Sorry, man you are in a bad mood today" Zachary said
"Sorry, I'm just stressed I guess. With the show and trying to pass my classes." I said with a sigh
"Why don't you take a break and a nap" Zachary said
Before I could answer Zachary took my laptop and logged me out, after he put it back into my bag he smiled and then wrapped his arms around me.
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Shut up and go to sleep" Zachary snapped
I laid my head on his shoulder and soon I was out like a light.
Zachary's POV
I looked at Y/N and smiled. Y/N is passed out on my shoulder, they looks calm which is something the cast doesn't see much since they are always so stressed.
"Well you got her to fall asleep, we didn't think anyone had the power to do that" Ben said while walking passed
I rolled my eyes and looked back at the sleeping girl, I smiled once again as my eyes started to feel heavy.
~TIME SKIP~
"ZACHARY, Y/N. WAKE UP" Chaz screamed in our ear
I jumped and so did Y/N, we looked at Chaz who is now laughing.
"We are at the rest stop." Chaz said
We both nodded and got up, I noticed Y/N eyes are really red as we got inside the rest stop.
"You okay? Your eyes are really red." I asked her
"I fell asleep with my contacts in, my eyes are just irritated." She answered "And my glasses are on the bus. I'm gonna head back so that I can go back to sleep"
I nodded my head before they walked away, I decided I was going to fill up my water bottle. I want into my bag and started to fill it up.
Y/N POV
I sat down in my seat and proceeded to take my contacts out and I put them away. I rubbed my eyes a bit before looking for my glasses.
"Dang it, I can't see" I mumbled to myself
"Need help?" Some said
"Sorry, yeah. I can't really see" I answered
The person looked through my bag and then placed my glasses on my face.
"Thanks Josh. I was really about to go blind" I said
"Any time kiddo" Josh said
Josh riffled my hair before going back to his seat, soon all the boys were loaded on the bus and we hit the road. That's when it hit me.
"Chaz, where's Zachary?" I asked
Chaz looked up and then let out a really loud laugh.
"Hey guys, we left out Crutchie" Zachary said out loud
"Are you joking?" Jeff asked
"I wish we where" I answered "I'll call him"
I pulled out my phone and dialed Zachary's number.
U- Zachary, where are you?
Z- Well you see I lost track of time and kinda missed the bus.
U- Are you dumb?
Z- Yeah, I am.
U- Okay, we are going to find a way to get to you.
Z- Okay bye.
I hung up the phone and slammed my head onto the seat, as the we figured out a way to get back to Zachary.
"You had on job Y/N" Dan said his head popping up from behind me
"Zachary isn't my reasonability" I snapped
Some of the boys laughed as my face turned red from anger. All these boys pick me saying that I'm Zachary's "adult" since we are close friends and he is well Zachary.
Zachary's POV
I am sitting outside scrolling through my twitter when I see this.
I looked at what Joshua said and smiled, I'm going to be saved. It is my own fault I got left here, maybe if Y/N didn't go back on the bus sooner I wouldn't have missed the bus. I looked up from my phone to see the buses pulling into the rest stop. I stood up and walked over to the bus, once I was sitting down Y/N pulled out a piece of paper.
"You stupid, childish-" Y/N snapped while hitting me in the head
Before they could hit my again I grabbed their wrist and pulled them close to me. I looked at Y/N who's face was red from snapping at me. As I looked at her eye softened as they looked at me and they let out a sigh.
"You calm?" I asked
"I guess" they mumbled
Y/N crossed her arms and sank into the seat.
"I'm sorry" I said
"It's fine, I should have stayed with you" they said
"Do not blame yourself Y/N" I snapped at her
Y/N jumped slightly but I made up for it by wrapping my arm around them. they relaxed into my touch and was soon falling asleep. I placed a small kiss on their forehead before falling asleep.
~Time Skip~
Y/N POV
I walked into my hotel room and faced planted onto my bed and soon Stephanie walked into the room and laughed at me.
"So you and Zachary" She said
I can feel the smirk on her face, I rolled over and looked at her.
"What about Zachary and I?" I asked
"Well for one, you freaked out on him for missing the bus. Two, he calmed out down but just holding your wrist. Three, you fell asleep in his arms. And four, he kissed your forehead." She said
"He did what?" I said "Holy cow"
"Girl and I know you like him, you just have to admit it" She said
"So what if I like him, it's not like he would date me" I said and proceeded to sit up
"He's going out with Ben, Sky, and Jeff. Go" Was all she said
I did answer all I did was get up and ran out of the room. I could hear Stephanie laugh as I left, I walked down the hallway. When I got to the lobby I saw Zachary walking with the three boys.
"Zachary" I yelled
He turned around and smiled, I walked over to him and smiled. I looked at him before taking a breath. I grabbed Zachary's shirt and pulled him so that our lips touch, Zachary didn't push me away. All he did was wrap his arms around my waist pulling my body closer to him. When we pulled away my face soon heated up.
"Sorry, I don't know why I did that" I whispered
"Shut up and kiss me again" He responded
I smiled and pressed our lips together, when we pulled away I spun around ready to go back to my room. I looked behind me to see Zachary blushing I gave him a quick wink before going back to my room. When I got back I saw Stephanie smiling.
"You did it" She said
"How do you know?" I asked
"Ben sent pictures in the group chat" She said
She pulled out her phone and showed me the picture, a blush formed on my face and I laid down on my bed.
"Do you regret it" She asked me
"Not at all" I answered
