Y/n's pov
"I'll be at the field today." Yeji said and I teased her.
"Somebody on a date?" I asked and she rolled her eyes.
"I'm meeting lia so we can talk."
"Talk about?" I teased and she hit me shoulder.
"Now that's becoming a habit." I said and Laughed.
"I'll be going now, see ya!" Yeji ran away from me and I didn't get a chance to complain.
"Little bastard." I said and shook my head smiling.
I walk and accidentally bumped into jin.
"Sorry." I said and sent an apologetic smile at him.
"It's okay y/n~ssi." Jin said with a huge smile. Somebody is in a good mood.
"Cheery today aren't we?" I said starting a conversation.
"Today is a great day. In fact, Wanna join me for a little snack in the cafeteria? Promise I won't do any flirty things." He raised his right hand. I acted like I was in deep thinking.
"Only if you can buy me food."
"You got a deal."
Me and Jin started to talk more comfortably and civil. Sure he has a side that I don't entirely like, But he can be pretty friendly and serious with a friend. Guess he is alright. But he is part of that damn picture with taehyung..
"Pizza?" Jin asked as we got in line with the rest of the students. I nodded.
"I'll buy both of us a drink at the other side. Be right back." I said and he nods in agreement.
I took out my wallet and bought a can of coke and a bottle of water. I sat down on an empty table and pulled out my phone to see text messages.

"Girlfriend?" Jin asked and noticed he was slightly looking at my phone.
"Just a friend." I said and closed my phone pulling the plate of a sliced pizza near me.
"Here." I gave him the can of coke and he thanked me and started to eat.
"So why are you in a good mood?" I asked and turned my body position sideward so I can hear him better.
He did that smile again in the hallway. "The girl I've been chasing for months finally said yes to one date with me."
"Which girl?" I teased and jin rolled his eyes.
"I have not been with that too manu girls." He said and I looked at him weirdly.
"Dude that table of women has been looking at you since you sat here. Don't think I haven't notice." I pointed and he looked to see that I was indeed right.
He clicked his tongue. "Well I am that attractive."
I pushed him and he laughed. "Confident bastard." I said and he laugh even more.
"How 'bout you? Any girl or boy I should know about?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Complicated unfortunately."
"The gender part? Ouch!" I punched him in the shoulder.
"Idiot." I said and both of us laughed.
"Hey guys!" Seulgi said and sat down in front of us and I greeted her. She put a hydroflask on the table and I chuckled.
"Water bottle?" I said sarcastically and she hushed me.
"want some?" She asked and I shook my head and laughed.
"I could drink some." Jin said and grabbed it.
"Careful I put too many in there." Seulgi said and took a bit of her pasta.
When Jin took a sip he coughed. "Damn what's in this."
I laughed and seulgi took the water bottle away from him. "A drink you couldn't handle anyways."
"I can handle my drinks! I was just caught off guard." He whined and me and seulgi laugh.
"Prove it then. Let's go to a club in town. I'll drive." I said to both of them.
"When is this club? I'm assuming I'll go since all of you can't handle a drink." Jennie said out of no where and I shrugged.
"Are you challenging me Jennie?" I taunted and she shrugged copying me from earlier.
I stared at her for a second before answering. "Sunday 12 midnight. Meet me at the parking lot."
"Deal." Jennie said and winked at me.
"Hey." Irene said and I looked up to see her with a perfect smile. Damn it. My heart is at it again.
"Hey you in?" Jin was the first one to ask. I looked at Irene and she sat down beside seulgi so she was in front of me.
"In for what?" She asked.
"Y/n invited us for a drink at the club in sunday." Seulgi said and put her utensils down on the empty plate.
Irene looked at me for a split second before answering with a smile. "Ofcourse."
My phone vibrated and someone with an unfamiliar number texted me.

Hello Kim y/n, this is the general hospital where Your mother is checked in. I just wanted to check in if she is alright. She hasn't been answering our calls.
My heart dropped and everything went silent. My hands started to shake a little in fear. She's alright. My mother is alright. She is fine.
"Uh, excuse me for a moment." I said and stood up not waiting for a response. I walked fastly out the cafeteria to the outdoor tables where only a bit of people were there. I walked to the very corner where no one could hear me.
The glass could see me from the inside so I will be very careful on my conversation.
I dialed the number and waited for an answer.
"Hello?" A woman's voice from the other line said.
"Hello. This is Sarah Kim's daughter. I just wanted to ask if she had answered her phone already." I asked worriedly.
"Yes miss kim. I just got out of the phone call with her. I'm sorry for the worry but everything is under control."
I sighed out in relief. "Thanks doctor. If I may, Can I ask a question?"
"What is it miss kim?" She asked calmly and patiently.
"Is my mother.. Going to her daily check ups? She looks a bit tired when I last saw her.." I said and Bit my fingers in the anticipation.
"Hold on for a second miss kim." She said and waited.
"Sarah kim's last check up was two days ago. She informed the hospital that she couldn't go yesterday since she was out of town."
I took a breath out of relief from the news. "Thank you doc. My mom is everything I have. Please take care of her."
"We will miss kim."
"Goodbye doc."
I hung up and out the phone away.
I covered my face and breathed more slowly and stable. I hated getting these calls. These scares. I don't ever want to feel what I felt when I found out taehyung's dead. Not anymore.
"Hey.." Someone said to me and I uncovered my face to see Irene standing infront of me.
"Hey.." I said too and she sat beside me.
"Are you alright? You didn't seem so when you left table." She said and I smiled.
"Yes I'm okay."
"Y/n" She called me and I looked at her. "Yeah?" I ask and she fidgeted with her fingers, she seems nervous.
"I'm... Sorry." She said and I waited for her to say anything more.
"I know I shouldn't be playing around with your feelings. But to be honest? I never really knew what I did until you told me that day in the bathroom."
I stared at the floor and just listened. I should be angry. I don't and never will like people playing with me.
"I have never been with a woman before. So you were right and I was wrong. I just wanted to explore my sexuality a bit more. But it was wrong to do it to you.. I'm really sorry y/n." Irene said with sincerity.
I sighed. "I forgive you. Just don't do it again."
"What part?" She asked and I chuckled.
"The play with my heart part rene."
"Rene?" She asked and I smiled.
"Your nickname from me from now on. I don't like it when somebody else calls you that."
"Possessive much?" She joked and laughed at the process.
