Y/N POV:
Ozma: I'll do it.
God of Light: Very well. Our creation rests within your hands.
He then disappears in a ball of light.
Jinn: And so Ozma was reborn.
Ozma reincarnates into a man with a tanned complexion and pale blonde hair, who had just stabbed a Beowolf with a pitchfork, causing it to disintegrate.
Y/N: (So this was his first reincarnation)
I look to see the village he's in burning as Grimm continue chasing the villagers down.
Ozma: Where am I?
He looks over to see a man flailing his sword against a Beowolf as the the other soul takes over and takes down the beast.
Man: Thank you. Please, tell me your name. Who are you?
Only for Ozma to take back control and drop his sword in horror.
The scene changes to Ozma walking around the city seeing Faunus locked up in changes seeing the many differences from his time.
Jinn: Ozma had found himself in a world completely unfamiliar to him. Cities looked different. Creatures known as the Faunus bore fangs and claws and were locked away in cages.
Jinn: And without the blessing of the gods, no one could perform magic like mankind was once capable of, no one but himself and a woman known as... the witch.
The scene changes to him walking into a forest.
Jinn: During his years of travel, he heard the same frightened whispers that spoke of a terrifying sorceress who commanded dark powers in the wilds among the beasts and monsters.
Jinn: Ozma was convinced that this witch was Salem, and decided he needed to see what she had become.
As he makes it towards the cottage Salem walks out with an angry glare that softens immediately once she took a closer look.
Jinn: Call it magic or call it something stronger, but in that moment, the two knew exactly who it was that stood before them.
Ozma and Salem walk towards each other, the two hold each other's hands, interlocking their fingers affectionately.
Ozma: What do we do now?
Salem: Whatever we like.
The scene changes to see them talking with one another.
Jinn: As Salem and Ozma recounted the events which had brought them back together, each withheld parts of their story. Salem, fearing Ozma would reject her, blamed the end of the world on the gods.
Jinn: Ozma, still unsure of where the truth lay, kept his task and the Relics a secret.
Jinn: Though time passed and all seemed well, Ozma's conversation with the God of Light still lingered in his mind. He had found happiness, but humanity seemed more divided than ever before.
Salem: Are you surprised? This world is quite literally godless. These humans have no one to guide them. Perhaps that's all they need.
Ozma: What are you saying?
Salem: We could become the gods of this world. Our powers surpass all others. Our souls transcend death.
Salem: We can mold these lands into whatever we want, what you want, create the paradise that the old gods could not.
Y/N: (This world doesn't need gods all we need is unity to be in the right direction)
Jinn: The hearts of men... are easily swayed.
A village is shown under attack by a Nevermore. Suddenly, a purple energy surrounds the Nevermore, causing it to be bent and folded into unnatural positions.
The Nevermore disintegrates, and the villagers watch as Ozma, once again wielding his scepter and wearing regal robes, and Salem levitate into the air side-by-side above them.
As all the villagers bow down to them and even erect statues of them.
Y/N: (Using their powers to act like gods)
Y/N: (Arrogant Bastards!)
I feel my aura starting to leak out even more.
Miyuki: (Calm down what happened has already happened)
Y/N: [Sigh] (Right)
Jinn: The two amassed a following. That following grew into a prosperous kingdom.
A castle then appears.
Jinn: And at the head of that kingdom blossomed... (four little girls then appear in the painting) ...a family.
Y/N: The maidens.
The scene changes to warfare being seen by Salem smirking at the destruction.
Ozma: Are we sure this is right?
Salem: You said we needed to bring humanity together. In order to do that, we have to spread our word, and destroy those who will deny it.
Y/N: (There's always another way)
Ozma: This isn't what he asked of me...
Salem: What did you say?
The doors open as the two of their daughters open the door.
Eldest Daughter: Mother, father, look!
As she makes multicolored wisp fly around her.
Jinn: It was a miracle, their children could perform magic. But what should have been a joyous occasion was short-lived.
The scene changes to Ozma telling Salem everything.
Jinn: Ozma told Salem everything, the true reason the God of Light had brought him back, the Relics that they scattered around the world, and the day of judgement he had been told to prepare for.
Salem: Don't you see? None of that matters anymore. Why spend our lives trying to redeem these humans when we can replace them with what they could never be?
Y/N: (Salem...)
The scene changes to Ozma taking his daughter down the hall.
Youngest Daughter: Mommy?
I look to see Salem standing menacingly at Ozma as he stands in front of his daughter as she fires a red beam of energy with Ozma countering with a green beam of energy.
Their attacks clash, engulfing the area into a bright white flash, the fight continues on with the castle being destroyed and all their children killed by the result until Ozma is seen weakly crawling away with blood dragging behind him.
Salem then reappears behind him undamaged thanks to her immortality, and angrily walks over to Ozma. She kicks him over onto his back and holds him down with her foot.
Salem: We finally had freedom...
Ozma: I--
Only for her to kill him In a blast of fire.
Jinn: Thus began a long and painful cycle of death and rebirth for Ozma.
As I see him transition from an old man to a young man that would drink his problems away.
Jinn: Some lives were spent in mourning, many were spent attempting to forget it all.
He then reincarnates into a dark-skinned man with glasses who starts off slouching, but then eventually stands straight up and determinedly walks forward.
Jinn: But no matter what, his mind would eventually turn back to the task he had been burdened with.
The scene changes to him finding his wife and two children.
Jinn: But no matter where or how he lived, her presence was always felt.
He opens the door to see Grimm attacking villagers as he grabs Long Memory and goes to attack it.
Jinn: If humanity were ever to stand a chance at being united, one thing was clear...
Y/N: He felt that he had to destroy Salem.
Smoke changes the scene to him working on his Cane.
Jinn: Knowing he could never rid the world of her through any mortal means, Ozma sought out the power of the Relics.
He puts the Cane in a cabinet and reopens it as his new reincarnation.
Jinn: Armed with my knowledge, he believed he could fulfill his promise to the God of Light.
The Smoke changes as I see the others with Ozma using Jinn.
Ozma: Where are the other Relics?
Jinn: He asked me his questions.
Ozma: What powers do they possess?
Jinn: And though I gave him my answers...
Ozma: How do I destroy Salem?
Jinn: ...not all of them were to his liking.
Jinn: You can't.
Y/N: (Her Immortality)
The smoke clears as we all look back to Ozpin kneeling down in the snow devastated.
Yang: Salem can't be killed... you all heard her too, right?
I look to see them all glaring at Ozpin.
Y/N: (This won't end well)
Ozpin: I--
Yang: (enraged) There was so much you hadn't told us! How could you think that was okay?!
Professor... (Ozpin looks up at her) What is your plan to defeat Salem?
Ozpin: I... don't...have one.
I see Qrow go to punch him as I block his fist.
Y/N: That's enough!
Qrow: But--
Y/N: What is all this infighting and rage gonna solve?!
Y/N: All were doing now is bringing more Grimm towards us!
Yang: But he lied to us!
Weiss: Salem's Immortal!
Y/N: Enough!
Y/N: I understand we're all angry at Ozpin for lying and keeping secrets but I sympathize with his reasons and right now Salem may be Immortal but her goal is to divide humanity, to rule us.
Y/N: Right now all this fighting and anger is only helping her achieve that goal.
Y/N: What we need right now is Unity and to keep moving forward.
Y/N: With no more secrets.
I look at Ozpin.
(Change Scalar to Black)
Y/N: Right.
Ozpin: Y-Yes....
Everyone settles down and goes quiet.
He switches back to Oscar.
As me and Ruby walk up to him.
Oscar: (grabbing the cane) I'm just going to be another one of his lives, aren't I?
Ruby: Of course not. You're your own person.
Qrow: Don't lie to him, Ruby. (drinks from his flask) We're better than that.
We continue following a trail to find hopefully some type of civilization.
Qrow: (sighs) Doesn't look like this is gonna let up.
Blake: Just wanna get this stupid Relic to Atlas.
Weiss: Let's hope we don't have to walk all the way there.
Yang: (sarcastically) I thought trails led somewhere.
Maria: Do you have nothing better to do than to harass a defenseless old lady?
Ruby: Everyone, quiet. Do you hear that?
We all stop to hear a metallic squeaking and we all turn to see a large farm with a sign saying "Brunswick Farms"
Blake: Well, at least one good thing happened today.
Weiss: It looks abandoned.
Ruby: It's still better than this.
Qrow: Come on, I think we could all use some rest.
The storm starts kicking up even more.
Y/N: (There's so much misery and feelings of despair here)
Ruby: (sighs) I don't get it. The empty towns I've passed through were all damaged or unfinished. But this place looks... fine.
I see Weiss shivering as I take off my hoodie and hand it to her.
Weiss: Won't you be cold too?
Y/N: Snow Semblance, remember?
She puts on my hoodie.
Weiss: Maybe everyone left in a hurry. Before things took a turn?
We head to the door as Qrow tries to open it revealing it to be locked.
Qrow: Hmm. Stay on guard.
He busts through the door with us following in with her weapons out only for nothing to happen.
Maria: Close the door already! It's cold enough in here as it is.
Blake: I saw a chimney from the outside. Maybe we could get a fire going?
Weiss: Please. I'll look for some blankets.
Qrow: Yang, go with her.
We turn to see Oscar looking at a book shelf.
Oscar: Looks like a study. Or, a library?
We turn to see a picture of a family and as I look closer I see a ginger haired boy with a hat.
Miyuki: (That sorta looks like...)
Koyuki: (Roman right?)
Y/N: (Well this farm is called Brunswick)
Blake: What do you think?
Ruby: Something doesn't feel right.
Blake: Let's look for some--
Suddenly we hear Weiss scream.
Ruby: Weiss!
We all run up the room to see Weiss and Yang looking in horror of the withered corpses of two people in bed.
After getting Weiss at least somewhat settled I let her hold on to me as the fire continues to blaze as Blake wraps a blanket on her and then sits next to Yang.
Qrow then comes in kicking snow off his feet.
Qrow: It's the same in every house.
Yang: What?
Qrow: Bodies. Every bed in every home. It's like the whole estate just went to sleep and never woke up.
Weiss: Then we're not staying here, right?
Qrow: (walks over to the fireplace to warm up) We don't have a choice. Storm outside's only getting worse. We'd freeze to death before we made it anywhere.
Maria: Well, might as well get comfortable. (walks over to a bookshelf)
Yang: Yeah, fat chance.
Ruby: Okay, then, let's do something. If this place wasn't abandoned it might still have supplies we could use.
Oscar: Hey, yeah. Maybe even a car.
Qrow: I'll do another sweep of the grounds. No one else goes anywhere alone.
Blake: Yang and I can search the other buildings for vehicles.
Yang: Fine, whatever gets me out of this house.
They both take their leave.
Y/N: I'll search for any clues or ideas for what happened here.
Ruby: Alone?
Y/N: I got a full team in my head.
Y/N: Don't worry.
I take my leave and search around the houses finding nothing out of the ordinary with any clues except warning signs and drawings of some type of monster.
Y/N: (Grimm?)
With a message reading "Don't listen to them".
Miyuki: (What could that mean?)
Y/N: (No idea)
I continue on until I spot a swing set.
Y/N: (Yue want to swing?)
Yue: (Really?!)
She changes back to Human Form and runs to the swing set.
Yue: Could you push me?
Y/N: Of course.
I start pushing her as she goes higher and higher.
Each swing I repeatedly switch between Miyuki and Koyuki so they could push too.
Until I look at Yue seeing her smile sweetly.
Yue: Higher please!
Flashback~
8 Year Old Y/N: Higher Mommy! Higher!
Mommy: Okay Sweetie let's go higher!
Daddy: High enough to reach the stars!
Y/N: Whee!
Flashback End
I feel myself start to tear up at the thought of my parents.
Yue: Y/N?
I look up to see Yue in front of me.
Yue: Why are you crying?
Y/N: I-It's nothing.
Yue then hugs me.
Yue: I can tell when something's bothering you.
Yue: Just let it all out.
I start crying even more.
Y/N: I love you so much Yue.
Yue: I love you too...
Yue: Mommy.
