Chapter 36:
It's been a week since the boys put the planned together for Melissa's surprised, and now they were presenting it with her.
Dad: honey, your brothers and I want to speak with you
Melissa: what's up?
Mom: what's going on?
Dad: remember that thing I told you about that we were putting together for Melissa
Mom: oh right that thing
Melissa: would someone tell me what this thing is
Dad: Joe since this was your idea, why don't you present it to Melissa
Joe: well... we know how depressed you have been feeling lately
Melissa: I haven't been feeling depressed
Joe: Melissa...
Melissa: *sighs* okay maybe I have a little bit... okay a lot. But what does this have to do with my depression
Joe: we are hoping this video we put together will explain everything
Joe plays the video for Melissa and her face lit up when she saw Gia's brother and her mother. They were thanking her for being a good friend to Gia and thanking us her for the donations.
Melissa was confused about the donation but then they showed another clip of all 4 of her brothers and they explained to Melissa in the video about how they got all the Jonas Fans around the world to help donate to the cause. Even her friends Dylan and Harley, as well as the principal and the school and other members of the foundation.
Melissa has tears of joy by the end of the video when all the disabled kids said "thank you Melissa" at the end after receiving the donation check.
Melissa: wow guys that's amazing! Thank you *hugs each of her brothers*
Joe: no problem
Melissa: but I can't take all the credit, you guys made the donation
Kevin: but you also use to help out those kids and inspired them
Nick: we didn't even know you use to come down to the center until Harley told us that you, Gia and her come here everyday after school after finding out about Gia's disable little brother
Melissa: yeah, Josh loves hanging around me and he wanted me to meet all his friends that he made because of me
Dad: I am so proud of you honey *kiss top of forehead* I'm proud of all of my kids *smiles at them* you guys made a huge difference in those kids life and that's exactly what we do in this family, we give back
Frankie: yeah and it feels great to give back, because in the end it's always worth it to see their smiles on their faces
Mom: it makes me a proud mother to hear you guys say this *kiss top of Frankie's head*
Melissa: daddy, after I'm healed, can I go hang out at the center?
Dad: of course sweetheart
Melissa: mom, can you set up a meeting with my therapist, I'm ready to talk to her now
Mom: that's my baby *kiss her cheek* I love you
Melissa: I love you too mom *snuggles in her mom's chest* thanks guys
Kevin: hey, we're just glad to see that you're doing better
Melissa: I am, so you don't have to call me every hour to check on me anymore Kevin
Kevin: oh I'm still gonna check on you, just not constantly, now that you're getting better
Melissa: thank you, I miss you
Kevin: I miss you too *hugs her*
Melissa: I'm glad you're here
Kevin: we are all glad you're here
Melissa: that's because you guys raised me to be a strong girl
Dad: we sure did *grabs hand and kiss it*
Melissa: I love you guys
Rest of Family: we love you too
The family all hugged each other in group hug and their mom said.
Mom: so... whose in a mood for some Panda Express
Melissa: meeee!!!
Mom: I'm glad you're eating more baby *careless cheek*
Melissa: *smiles* thanks mom
So Denise order everyone their order and Melissa hang out with her brothers and they just catches up on things they missed.
