Blake Pov:
After getting our stuff ready Sun, Y/N and I head out to recruit members for Haven Academy.
Blake: Okay, Are you both ready?
Y/N: Good to go.
Sun: I beat up on giant monsters and robots more than once, I think I can handle getting a few signatures.
We all split off with me heading to a Platform and gathering some Faunus.
Blake: Your chieftain needs you! Your people need you! Please, join the fight and help us save Haven Academy!
I continue asking more Faunus getting rejected at each turn.
Blake: (I hope the others are doing better)
After many more rejections I called Sun and Y/N to a cafe to take a break.
I head to the Cafe and see it's just Sun.
Blake: Where's Y/N?
Sun: She wanted to keep trying.
Blake: I see.
We then order and get our drinks.
Sun: (slamming his cup down) I don't get it! How can they just sit around and do nothing with the White Fang getting ready to attack!
Blake: Because not everyone is like you and me. The Faunus here in Menagerie - the ones that weren't born on the island - moved here because they were tired of fighting, of having to struggle constantly. Menagerie is filled with people that just want to be left alone, (scoffs) and here we are, asking them to put the rest of the world before themselves.
Sun: I guess I never really thought about it like that.
Blake: The problem is, whatever happens at Haven is going to affect them whether they like it or not. If Adam gets his way and Haven falls, it's only going to make things worse for the Faunus. Everywhere.
Sun: Adam... He's the guy you used to... work with?
Blake: [Sigh] Yes.
Sun: Sorry, forget I brought it up.
Blake: Not it's okay.
I try and think of a way to properly explain how Adam was.
Blake: Have you ever met someone and thought to yourself, "They are the personification of this word."
Sun: (rubbing his head) Uh...
Blake: Okay, well, I remember getting to know Ruby and thinking, "This girl is the embodiment of "purity"." After a while, I saw Weiss was "defiance". And Yang was "strength".
Sun: What am I?
Blake: Jury's still out on that one, but I'm leaning towards "earnest".
Sun: I can get with that.
Blake: [Laughs]
I then start thinking about Adam.
Blake: At first I thought Adam was "justice", then I thought he was "passion". But over time, I realized I was wrong. He wasn't any of those things. He was "spite". Not "hatred", not "rage", "spite".
Blake: He won't accept equality, only suffering for what he feels the world did to him, and his way of thinking is dangerously contagious.
Blake: That's what worries me about llia. She's not like Adam, not yet at least, but I don't know how long that will last.
Sun: She was your friend, huh?
Blake: She was. Her chameleon traits meant she could pass as human. She could've lived a normal life if she wanted, but she didn't.
Blake: I always admired that. She lost her family in a mining accident when she was young, then she joined the White Fang.
Blake: Like me, she was more or less trained on the road alongside other Faunus.
Blake: She learned to survive, to defend herself, but as people like Sienna and Adam started to gain a following, she became more dangerous.
Blake: I guess I did too. My parents tried to get me to leave with them, but I refused. I had Adam and Ilia, after all.
Sun: You know we're gonna have to face her eventually.
Blake: I know.
Sun: So, what are you gonna do?
Blake: I'm going to try and help her the way you helped me.
Blake: You and Y/N showed me that sometimes you need to be there for a friend even when they don't want you to be.
Blake: I was drowning in guilt and fear, I tried to push you both away, but you guys didn't give up on me.
Blake: And I can't give up on Ilia. It's about time I saved my friends for once.
Sun: [Heh.]
Sun: Speaking of Y/N, you never said what her word was.
Blake: That's another hard case all together but I'm thinking "Perseverance".
Ruby Y/N Pov:
Since figuring out that the change of my body was my Semblance evolving I decided to train and figure out how far I could go with it.
Currently I'm training with Oscar so he could have a better use of his weapon.
Oscar: Yah!
He swings his cane at me from the right as I make a gauntlet to block the blow and kick him away.
He then rushes me with multiple Cane Swings with me being put on the defensive.
Oscar: [Battle Cry!]
He does one final swing breaking one of my gauntlets as I use the other to land an uppercut.
Oscar: Gah!
He lands on the ground in defeat.
Y/N: You've gotten better.
Oscar: *Pant* *Pant* .
Y/N: Alright let's call it day.
Oscar: No! I can keep going!
Y/N: It's not you that needs a break.
My stomach starts to growl proving my point.
Ruby: Looks like you've both gotten better.
Ruby: You both hungry? It's almost dinner time.
Oscar: Uh, yeah. That sounds good. I was about to call it a night anyway.
Y/N: Thank Oum I'm about to collapse.
Oscar: Uh, yeah. That sounds good. We were about to call it a night anyway.
Ruby: So, you've never fought before?
Oscar: Just the occasional small Grimm. Nothing like this, though.
Ruby: Wow. (giggles) You look like a natural.
Oscar: It's strange, I have only had this cane for a few weeks, but... I feel like I've had it for a lifetime. Longer, even. (pause) I sound like a crazy person.
Y/N: Guess we're both a little crazy but I use to feel the same way with my weapons.
Ruby: I mean, uh, yeah just a little. But at this pace, you'll be combat ready in no time!
I look at Ruby saddened expression as she used Penny's Quote.
Oscar: Uh...
Ruby: Well, see you upstairs.
Oscar: How do you both handle all of this?
Y/N: Hmm?
Ruby: What do you mean?
Oscar: I'm... scared. (his voice starts to crack) I'm more scared than I've ever been in my life, than I ever thought was possible. (he walks over to a weapon rack)
Oscar: I always knew that I wanted to be more than a farmhand, but this? (he places the cane in the rack) Who would ask for this?
He gets up and retracts his cane and puts it in his backpack.
Ruby: We all went to Beacon because we wanted to help people. But, you're right. None of us asked for this either. We just have to press on and--
Oscar: How can you be so confident?! People have tried to kill you! The world's about to go to war all over again! How are you okay with any of this?!!
Y/N: Oscar...
Ruby: When Beacon fell, I lost two of my friends. I didn't know them for very long, but that doesn't change the fact that they were two of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met.
Ruby: But that didn't save them. Pyrrha thought that if there was even the smallest chance of helping someone, then it was a chance worth taking.
Ruby: And because of that, she died fighting a battle she knew she couldn't win. And Penny... was killed... just to make a statement.
Ruby: Even Y/N almost died along with them.
Y/N: Ruby...
Ruby: I am scared, but not just for me. What happened at Beacon shows that Salem doesn't care if you're standing against her or not. She'll kill anybody, and that scares me most of all.
Ruby: Pyrrha... Penny... I'd be lying if I said that it didn't hurt, that I didn't think about them every day since I lost them, that I didn't wish I had spent more time with them.
Ruby: If it had been me instead, I know they would have kept fighting too, no matter how dangerous it was. So that's what I choose to do - to keep moving forward.
Y/N: She's right I'm scared too but I keep fighting for those who have fallen and to prevent it from happening again.
I place my hand on Ruby's with Oscar joining in as we share a smile.
Ruby: C'mon, if we don't hurry, Nora's gonna eat everything. It wouldn't be the first time.
Y/N: She better not!
I run up the stairs.
Y/N: I will not have my share taken!
Yang Y/N Pov:
After the fighting died down and another clone landing down me and the Weiss clone decided to take her in the air to tell us what happened.
Y/N: So tell us..
W Y/N: What happened here?
Raven Y/N: While after the real us made me to spy on Raven I went into her portal and followed her to the camp.
Flashback Raven Y/N Pov:
I was soaring in the air in my Ice bird form following Raven through the camp.
Raven: I know your there.
Y/N: *Scared Bird Noise*
She sliced an Aura Arc near me as I barely dodge it.
I transform into my regular form and pull out my sword.
Raven: So it's you again?
Y/N: Guess stealth isn't really my strength.
Raven: Why did you follow me?
Y/N: You have the Spring Maiden.
Raven: So you plan on taking her with you?
Y/N: No...
Raven: What?
Y/N: I know your not going with me.
Raven: What?
Y/N: I know your the Spring Maiden.
Raven: How?!
Y/N: Your aura clearly shows it.
Raven:...
Raven: So you know what I am?
Raven: What's your plan?
Y/N: I want to join the Branwen Tribe.
Raven: As if I'd let you!
She charged at me with her sword letting her maiden power out.
I block her blow with my sword as the blow creates a shockwave.
Y/N: (Miyuki)
Miyuki: (Right)
I summon my mask and allow my aura to flow freely.
Y/N: Well....
I ready my sword.
Y/N: Let's dance!
She charges at me as I counter her strikes and kick her away from me.
Raven: Tch.
She does a quickdraw and slices my arm off.
Y/N: Gah! My arm!
Y/N: You cut my fucking arm!
She smirks at my expense.
Y/N: Just kidding!
Since I'm made of Ice I regrew my arm and hit her with a slash across her chest.
Y/N: [Hehe.]
She gets angry and starts to use more of her power and I match her.
She then calms down and puts her mask back on.
Raven: Fine you can join.
Y/N: I knew you would understand.
After that for the past few weeks I started doing missions for them except I didn't steal or kill but went hunting and did small jobs to bring in resources.
Flashback End~
Y/N: And here we are now.
Y Y/N: I see.
W Y/N: Now for the other problem.
R Y/N: Hmm?
Y W Y/N: Are you and her dating?!!!
R Y/N: I-um...We are.
I get grabbed by one of them.
Y Y/N: Why would you do this?!
W Y/N: Your dating Yang's mom while dating Yang herself!
Y Y/N: That is wrong on so many levels!
R Y/N: It just happened, okay!
W Y/N: How! How does it just happen?!
R Y/N: After doing some missions and getting closer to the tribe Raven started talking to me more and more.
R Y/N: This kept on until she confessed to me out of the blue!
Y Y/N: Then why didn't you say no?!
R Y/N: Cause...
I bring out Koyuki and Miyuki.
Koyuki and Miyuki: Hey!
R Y/N: Some people pressured me to!
Y Y/N: Why?!
Koyuki: Look it was a split second decision!
Miyuki: And besides you haven't seen the other side of Raven!
W Y/N: What other side?!
Miyuki: I mean she's beautiful and actually really nice when you get to know her.
Y Y/N: [Sigh] Okay, this on you.
W Y/N: Once we land because she's probably been told of our relationship.
Y Y/N: We're not going down there to get punched by Yang.
R Y/N: I understand.
Miyuki and Koyuki go back to the inner world.
I land as Yang, Weiss and Raven come out of the tent.
Yang: Y/N...
R Y/N: (Here it comes)
I close my eyes waiting to get punched and possibly shattered into a million pieces.
Only to feel warmth.
R Y/N: Huh?
I see that Yang is hugging me.
She then whispers into my ear.
Yang: *Don't worry I'm not mad.*
R Y/N: *Really?*
Yang: *Mom told me she confessed to you and it's not like I can't see why she likes you.*
Yang: *Although me and Weiss aren't exactly thrilled about it we agreed to share you with her.*
R Y/N: *So what now?*
She lets go.
Yang: Me and Weiss are gonna go through the portal.
Yang: You can stay if you need to.
R Y/N: Yeah I'm just gonna stay for a little longer.
Yang: Okay.
The other two clones land next to her as they all enter the portal.
Y/N: (Be safe)
Ruby Y/N Pov:
A few days after our talk with Oscar with get a call from Qrow that he was bringing in back up for Haven so we decided to cook all our food for them.
With me and Jaune setting up the table, Ruby and Ren cooking at the stove with Nora cutting carrots.
Ren: Alright, the first batch is just about done.
Ruby: Awesome! Now we just need Qrow and we'll be all set.
Nora: Do you really think he's gonna bring that many people? This is a lot of food.
Ruby: Uh, I don't know, but it sounds like we could use all the help we can get.
Qrow: I'm back!
I head to the door to see Qrow with Yang and Weiss and two of my clones.
Y/N: Oh.
I grab my clones.
Y/N: How was the trip?
W Y/N: Not so bad.
Y Y/N: Had some trouble on the way.
W Y/N: What about you?
Y/N: Well got poisoned and met some trouble so not too bad.
I then absorb them and gain all their memories.
Y/N: (So I was a maid and met Tai and did some training and got with Bandits and Grimm)
Y/N: (I don't see what's so...)
Y/N: (I'm dating Raven!)
Miyuki and Koyuki: (And there it is)
I snap out of my thoughts as I hear glass breaking to see Ruby dropped in shock of Weiss and Yang.
Ruby: (voice cracking) Yang, I... I'm so sorry! I- I should've stayed, and I should've talked to you more! I'd-- I just... (tears start pouring from her eyes) I wasn't sure if you wanted me around and--
Yang then goes to hug her.
Yang: I love you.
Ruby: I love you too.
It was a really good sight.
Ruby: Weiss.
Weiss then joins in the hug.
Y/N: (Looks like Team RWBY is almost back)
Blake Pov:
After getting back from recruiting or at least trying to, I head back to my house to see Y/N still hasn't come back.
I go upstairs to my room and call her scroll.
Blake: Come on...
[Ring] [Ring]
Blake: Pick up...
[Ring] [Ring]
Beep
Scroll: Please leave a message-
I hang up.
Blake: Where are you?
I start waiting for her until I hear my door open.
Y/N: Blake...
I turn to see Y/N still wearing her mask.
Blake: Y/N...
I get closer.
Blake: Where have you been?
Y/N: I...was....recruiting.
Blake: At this hour I'm pretty sure everyone went home.
Y/N: Y-Yeah I just wanted to check.
Blake: Y/N why are you still wearing your mask?
Y/N: N-No reason.
I could tell something was wrong as I can hear her voice breaking as if she's trying not to cry.
Blake: Y/N take off your mask...
Y/N: I-
Blake: For me...
I hold her check as she lets the mask go.
Blake: What happened?
Y/N: I was trying to recruit some Faunus earlier, when I heard a kid fall into the water and started drowning.
Y/N: I got him out and took him to a hospital and he pulled through but once he's parents came in, they just called me a monster and that I should get away from their child.
Y/N: After that some White Fang Members and Faunus surrounded me and started throwing things and calling me a murderer and worthless Human.
She starts to cry a little more.
Y/N: I...just...wanted...to save the kid.
I wipe her tears.
Blake: I'm so sorry you had to deal with that.
Y/N: I-It's okay I think it just reminded me of all times of when I use to think like that.
I hug her as she hugs back and sobs lightly.
Blake: I'm here for you.
Y/N: Thank you.
I lay her on the bed and kiss her.
Y/N: Blake~
Y/N: We can't~
Blake: Don't worry the doors and windows are locked.
Blake: So I can really help you...
Blake: Relax~
