I know that the king seems too old for Violet, but don't forget that Fay's and Druids don't age after 32 years of age, and fairies and Druidess's don't age after the age of 28, so they could be thousand of years old but look young and gorgeous. To them, age means nothing, so when I write about William and Lidia being grandparents to Violet, do not imagine them old, they still look very young and beautiful. And the king of Fay's, Kalen, he is very young looking even if he has lived for thousand of years, of course violet is a child, but very soon , she will be a full grown woman, and when she kisses Kalen, don't forget that Kalen is a handsome young looking man, he's not old looking at all.
Another thing, don't mix up this story with my other series, my highlander my heart part one and part two have no storyline connection with this series that I have started. In my other stories the Fay king was Kheelan and the queen was Tatiana, and they truly love each other, in this series the king and queen is Kalen (pronounced k-a-y-l-e-n) and Prilla. And they don't really love each other at all.
When I find a way to get back into my other profile I will finish the other series too. I love my other books but can't get into the freaking account to finish them!!! It's been hacked!!!!!!
And this account is also starting to go bezerk, remember if anything happens to this account I will start another account by the name of Theodora the Greek so don't forget this name!!!!!

After Violet closed the curtain, she dropped to her feet and quickly turned around. Lucious was standing with his feet spread apart and his arms crossed over his muscled chest staring at her, and she nearly died from fear. Was he going to tell her father that she had snuck out of the castle again? If he did, her father would surely punish her, because he had given her her last warning the day before when he caught her smuggling a few puppies underneath her bed.
Lucious eyed his little cousin suspiciously. What was she up to this time, he thought. Violet was always getting into mischief, finding stuff to do that went against her fathers wishes.
"And where may I ask are you coming from?" He asked, his voice sounded a little gruff on purpose.
"Nowhere, someone had left the window open and I thought to close it, because it was getting too cold in here." She told him in a sweet little fake voice, and threw him an adorable smile that she knew would melt his heart,
Lucious almost fell for it too, she was just too adorable to resist, but she had gone too far this time sneaking out of the castle. Tis was too dangerous out there for a little girl, he thought.
Lucious drew his eyebrows together, and growled, "You are not ever to leave the castle again unescorted! Do you hear me?" His voice sounded harsh, but it was for her own good. Someone had to strike fear in her, because her father was too soft on her.
Violet placed her hands on her hips, and her violet eyes turned hazed with anger, "You can't tell me what to do, you're not my father!" She threw at him angrily.
Lucious did everything he could not to laugh. His little cousin was a she cat, but she was adorable, and he wanted to take her in his arms and give her a hug, but for the fact that what she did was very dangeros, and he needed to make sure that she would not repeat it again.
"I can and I will!" He told her coldly, someone needs to spank her arse until it was red with bruises! She is out of control, and every time she left unchaperoned from the castle her safety was at stake.
"No you can't! Only my father has that right, not you!" She snapped.
"Then I will go find your father and report to him what I caught you doing." He threatened, and watched as her lips trembled with fear.
His heart was melting and he wanted to give her a hug, but he held his ground, because he didn't want her to put herself in danger again.
"Please Lucious don't tell my father," she cried, throwing her arms around his waist, "I promise I won't ever do that again." She lied.
But Lucious was not stupid, he knew that she was lying. Violet loved the outdoors, and she will do it again, so he had to strike fear in her heart, it was the only way she would listen.
"I'm going straight to your father, he needs to know that you disobeyed him again. I'm sorry but I can not keep this from him." He told her.
Pulling away from him, she took two steps backwards and tipped her head back to look him square in the eyes. She knew that he loved her, and she decided to flutter her eyes at him, like she does to her papa, and he always forgives her.
Lucious heart was on the verge of melting. She was so adorable when her mouth was shut and poison didn't come out of it, he thought grimly. He watched her flutter her eye lashes at him, but he knew instantly that this was a trick. She was using her innocence to trap him into believing her lies. Snapping out of the trance she had put him under, Lucious held his ground.
"I'm going straight to your father Violet, and nothing you can say or do will change that!" He told her in a firm and unwavering voice, even though he wanted to laugh out loud with the way she looked at him with her big violet eyes.
"You will do no such thing!" She spat, already back to her regular self again.
But Lucious ignored her, and turned away heading for the door. Mayhap he would have covered for her like all the other times he caught her doing things she had no business doing,
but this time she was playing a dangerous game. He can't have her sneaking out into the courtyard unchaperoned, no one knew what evil lurked out there.
"I said stop, or I will tell Stephan were Abby is, and he will go find her first!" She threatened.
Lucious whirled around, his face red with anger that she dared to throw a cheap shot at him.
"Don't you ever talk about Abby again, she is dead!" He yelled at her, had she no shame talking about the dead, he thought, as he turned and stalked away.
"No she's not! She's alive and well, and I will tell Stephan her whereabouts so he could go and claim her first!" She snarled.
All the blood drained from Lucious face, what was the brat talking about? Could it be true? His heart raced and thumped against his muscled chest, and his stomach tightened, he was on the verge of another painful episode as Abby's image claimed his mind again. Clenching his huge hands into fists at his sides, Lucious slowly turned around, ready to grab Violet and give her a spanking that she so richly deserved, one that was long over due. She was a spoiled brat who was out of control, and had her father wrapped around her little finger, but it was about time that he teach her a lesson.
"Do not talk of Abby again, she is dead!" He said, in a low dangerous tone.
"No she's not! I see her all the time when she comes in her invisible form at night and sneaks into your room!" She yelled at him.
Lucious was speechless. He knew that Violet was not making this up, because her eyes were angry, and her voice held conviction.
Lucious legs buckled and he dropped to the floor in front of Violet. He grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her, "Why are you fibbing Violet?" He told her, unable to believe her words, afraid to get his hopes up high in case she was playing with him.
"I speak the truth!" Violet said, trying to pull unsuccessfully out of his grip.
Time stood still for Luscious as he tried to come to terms with her words that had power over him. He slowly rose to his feet and placed his hand over his beating heart. What was the possibility that there was truth in her words? Did Abby live? But how?
Lucious closed his eyes shut, and prayed before he opened them again and looked down at her. She was telling the truth, he could tell by the way she looked up at him triumphantly that she had his attention.
The Druid was lost for words. Violet said she comes at night and sees him. A warmth circled around his heart, and tightened it. Abby was alive, she comes to him! If she were invisible during her visits, then that must mean she has discovered her gifts and talents.
He looked away from Violet's stare, not wanting her to see the tears in his eyes. Could it be possible that she lives? Dare he believe that she comes to him at night.
"Well I'm waiting...." The brat said, agitated that her cousin had her life in his hands! Disgusted at herself that she wasn't more careful with her comings and goings.
Lucious turned around, and looked down at his little cousin. His eyes shined bright with tears. "When was the last time you saw Abby?" He asked in a broken voice, holding his breath for her answer.
"Last night." Violet answered, eyeing her cousin with interest. "But she's comes every night, I see her sneak in your room."
Oh my sweet Abby, heart of my hearts, love of my life.
"Does she know you see her, has she ever spoken to you?" Lucious asked.
"She asked me where you sleep, and I showed her your chambers. Then she asked me nicely if I can keep our meeting a secret, and I told her I would. Please Lucious don't ever tell her that I told you a single thing!" She begged, looking up at him with her big violet eyes.
"I shall never tell her I promise." He told her, and watched as she sighed with relief. "But you must go now to the dining room, lunch is being served, and your mother with be looking for you."
"Aye, she is always looking for me!" Violet complained, as she tossed a few strands of hair that had fallen over her eyes, over her shoulders, and made her way to the door. She turned the handle to the door, and swung it open, but before she walked out into the hallway, she turned around and said, "remember your promise Lucious!"
Lucious walked to the door and watched her disappear down the corridor. Closing the door, he leaned his huge muscled body against It, and a feeling gripped his heart so powerful that he almost couldn't breath.
Tonight when she comes to his room, he will be awake and waiting for her. Bursting with excitement, Lucious cracked a smile before he went to the dining room to join his family for the mid day meal.
