Seth's POV:
Dean and I made it to class and were instructed, by our teacher, to get changed into our P.E kit, with the rest of our class.
We went to the locker room and got changed next to each other. A few minutes after we arrived, a boy, with long black hair, and girl, with bright purple hair, started talking to Dean.
"Hey, Dean. You okay now?" the boy asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Dean responded.
"That's good." the girl spoke.
I presently interrupted their conversation, swinging my arm around Deans shoulder. "Who are they?" I implored.
"Oh, these are my friends Roman and Sasha," Dean replied, as the two waved at me. "Sasha, Roman this is Seth." I smiled at the two.
I don't really know why I got so defensive. Sasha and Roman seemed like two generally nice people.

The lesson went by quite quickly. Sasha, Roman and I became good friends. I'm glad Dean introduced me to them.
It was time to go home, Dean and I were walking home.
We were joking and laughing with each other. Little moments like these would always bring a smile to my face.
"Seth?" Dean said, breaking my thoughts.
"Yeah?"
Can I... maybe come over to your house?" He asked, shyly.
A smile immediately spread across my face, "Yeah, sure."
We were walking for a bit more until I suddenly bumped into Finn.
"Seth! There you are. I haven't seen you since lunch." Finn said, helping me up.
"Oh yeah... Sorry about that." I said, brushing myself off.
I heard Dean mumble something, but I didn't know what.
"Wanna hang out?" He asked.
"Um..." I thought for a moment. I had plans with Dean, but Finn... This could be my opportunity to get to know him a bit more...
I finally gave my answer,

"Sure..."
I heard Dean sigh, making me bite my lip whilst rethinking my decision.
"Great! What time?" Finn questioned.
I checked the time on my phone. It was currently 3:45.
"How about you pick me up 5:00 sharp?"
"Alright. See you later!" He responded, walking away.
I turned to Dean and noticed he had a sad expression on his face.
"You okay buddy?"
"Y-Yeah... Let's just go to your house..." he said, walking away.

Seth's house:
Deans POV:
We eventually made it to Seth's house.
"Mum! I'm home!" Seth yelled. "Deans here too!"
Out of nowhere, Mrs Rollins came and greeted us both with a hug.
Mrs Rollins was like my second mum. She cared for me. Helped me. Fed me. Everything! I was really grateful for her.
"Dean! It's so good to see you!"
"Same goes Mrs Rollins," I said.
"How many times must I tell you, dear?" She said, "You can call me by my first name, Mary."
"I know, it just feels impolite of me," I replied as she giggled.
"Trust me, it's not, dear."
"I'm going out at 5 mum," Seth said.
"Alright Love, just be careful." Mrs Rollins responded.
Seth and I went upstairs, to his room and sat on his bed. We started to play video games.
"So, hows your Dad?" I asked him.
"He's um... He's not doing so well..." he said, "he's been getting extremely sick. The medicine isn't helping at all." He said, pausing the game, "I just fear we're going to lose him..." he spoke, looking down at his lap, with tears in his eyes.
I went over to him and hugged him as he laid his head on my shoulder. He then started uncontrollably crying.
"Hey, just look at me." I said, as he slowly looked up to me, "Breathe..." I continued.
His breathing, eventually, started to even out. I gave him a soft kiss on the forehead, leaving him and myself in shock. He blushed slightly.
"He'll survive... Don't worry..."
"H-How can you be s-so sure?"
I sighed and said, "I can't. But you need hope. For him. You need to keep your head up and be happy. You'll get through this Seth."
"I don't believe in happy endings," he said, and I tell him, "I don't believe in endings."
At that moment, there was a twinkle in his eyes. He gave me a small smile, which ignited all the butterflies in my stomach.
I cupped his cheeks and said, "You're so precious..." making him blush.
We then leaned closer to each other. Inches apart. Until...

Beep. Beep.
It was Seth's phone. Finn had messaged him, telling him he was 5 minutes away from his house. I sighed as he got up and went to get dressed.

He had finally finished getting ready for his "date".
"How do I look?" He inquired.
He was wearing black skinny jeans, a black pierce the veil shirt, black trainers and he was wearing a black SnapBack backwards.
"G-Great." I blushed. I wanted to tell him he looked stunning, but I didn't have the courage.
"Thanks. I'll be back later." He said walking out of his bedroom.
Now, what do I do?
Maybe I could take a walk?
I got myself dressed and went downstairs.
"I'm taking a walk, if you don't mind Mrs Lopez."
"Not at all, just be safe." She said giving me a hug.
"I will..." I said exiting the house.
