Jisung and Chenle did a Vlive together.
They had a lot of fun and laughed a lot.
But after the Vlive Chenle couldn't concentrate anymore.
His thoughts were only by Jisung.
How Jisung's hand was bigger than his and when they intertwined their hands, it perfectly fit.
How Jisung called him cute.
How Jisung said that he was the best.
And how Jisung could make him laugh and smile like that.
Chenle was happy to have Jisung.
And Jisung was happy to have Chenle.
After the Vlive they laid in Jisung's bed and cuddled.
They talked about the coming promotions, they had to do.
And how exciting it would be to debute with NCT 2018.
Chenle felt really tired, but he didn't want to stop talking to Jisung.
So he stayed with him and they continued talking.
But after some time, Chenle's eyes grew heavy. He told himself to just shortly close them and keep listening to Jisung.
But only after a few minutes, Jisung heard Chenle snoring.
"Cute", Jisung chuckled at the older.
He put the blanket over them and turned the light off.
After a while, also Jisung fell asleep, with Chenle in his arms.
They cuddled through the night.
None of them having a bad dream. They slept calmly, like they always did, when they slept next to each other.
The next morning they woke up because Jisung's alarm clock was ringing.
"Turn it off", Chenle grumbled and snuzzled in Jisung's chest.
Jisung groaned, trying to find the device to turn it off.
"Chenle-ah, I need to go to school", Jisung said sleepy, while caressing Chenle's hair.
"No, stay here. You are warm and comfortable. Ditch school.", Chenle said with a whiny voice.
Jisung chuckled. "I wish I could, but sadly I can't."
Jisung tried to get Chenle off him and to stand up, but Chenle was really stubborn.
He clawed at Jisung and shook his head.
But Jisung was stronger. He grabbed Chenle's arms and hold them.
"No, no, no, no", Chenle whined.
"I'm sorry. But I can't skip school, just because you want to continue sleeping in my arms.", Jisung laughed.
"Why not? It is really simple. Just lay down again and close your eyes.", Chenle said with puppy eyes and a pout.
"No, Chenle, I can't", Jisung shook his head.
"Fine", Chenle crossed his arms and his pout became even bigger. "Then leave."
"What are you so cute for?", Jisung asked and pinched Chenle's cheeks, causing the older to blush.
"Stop that", Chenle tried to push Jisung away, but he was too weak and too tired.
Jisung laughed and started tickling Chenle.
Soon Jisung found himself on top of Chenle, with Chenle lying under him, laughing, till he couldn't breath anymore.
"See, there is your precious smile", Jisung said happily.
When Chenle realized their position, his eyes widened and his cheeks became red.
Jisung's expression got more serious.
"No, seriously, stop being so cute."
Chenle didn't know, what he should say to it. What he should do.
Jisung started playing with Chenle's hair and Chenle closed his eyes on instinct.
He felt Jisung's breath on his lips and then Chenle could only think of one thing. Wished for only one thing.
But it didn't happen.
Jisung used this chance to get up.
"Sorry, but I really have to go to school."
And with that Jisung was gone.
Chenle decided to pick Jisung up from school.
But after minutes of waiting at the gate, Jisung was still nowhere to be seen.
So Chenle decided to go inside the school to search for him.
Maybe something happened or a teacher stopped him to talk about something.
But what Chenle wasn't expecting, was seeing Jisung on his knees, with his face in the hands of the girl, who he saw the last time, he was here.
Their faces only inches apart. It looked like they were about to kiss.
Chenle felt tortured. But he couldn't look away.
The only thing, that got him out of his trance, was when Jisung looked up at him.
Chenle immediately turned around and started running away.
"Chenle, wait", he heard Jisung shout.
But he ignored it and kept running.
But Jisung was faster and soon he felt a hand around his wrist.
Damn the stamina of a dancer.
"Chenle, look-", Jisung started, but Chenle turned around and shook his head.
"I'm sorry for interrupting. I didn't know that you were with her.", Chenle said almost as a whisper, afraid that his voice would break, if he dared to speak louder.
"Chenle it is not, what it looked like.", Jisung tried, but Chenle interrupted him again.
"It is okay that you have feelings for her and want to be with her, I just wished, you would have told me. I mean, I am your best friend after all, aren't I?", Chenle's gaze was fixed on the ground.
Jisung let go of Chenle's wrist and put his finger under Chenle's skin to make him look at him.
"Are you done with your self-pity and wrong conclusions?", Jisung asked softly.
Chenle nodded.
"Good. Because I wasn't going to kiss her, okay?", Jisung said, while looking Chenle deep in the eyes.
"She is just a really good friend. A friend of the real Jisung. Not my idol self. And she helps me a lot with school, like learning for exams and stuff.
And what you just saw, she tried to help me.", Jisung's voice got quieter at the end.
He didn't mean to have secrets in front of Chenle, but he didn't want to worry the older.
"Help you with what?", Chenle asked with his voice breaking. He was close to crying. He felt like his heart would break any minute.
Jisung took a deep breath.
"I got a panic attack.", Jisung breathed out.
"What?", Chenle shouted with wide eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey", Jisung tried to calm him.
"Not exactly a panic attack. But I got an exam back today. And the grade was really, really bad. I am just so stressed with all the comebacks, that I can't really concentrate on learning. And my teacher told me, if it goes on like that, I maybe won't pass this year.", Jisung explained.
"And this made me afraid. Because I hate school and I definetely can't stay here a year longer. And what would my parents say? Or our Manager? Would he let me sit out dance practices, so I would concentrate more on school? And I love dancing too much, they can't take that away from me.
All this things piled up in my head and I got so afraid that I almost couldn't breath.
So I ran out of the classroom and Heejin saw it and followed me.
She only tried to calm me down, and this is when you came." Jisung looked Chenle in the eyes and what he saw made his eyes widened.
Chenle was crying.
"Hey, don't cry. Why are you crying?", Jisung took Chenle in his arms and hugged him.
"Why don't you come to me with your problems? Why don't you tell me that you are struggling with school? I would have helped you", Chenle sobbed in Jisung's chest.
"Because I didn't want to worry you", Jisung said in a soft and honest voice.
"But that is my job", Chenle slightly hit Jisung's chest. "To worry about you and take care of you. That is what I am there for."
"I am sorry", Jisung said and hugged Chenle tighter. "Are you forgiving me?"
"How could I not?", Chenle asked and hugged Jisung back.
Jisung smiled. "Thanks for being there for me."
"Always", Chenle mumbled in Jisung's chest.
