The waves crashed,
As my heart sank.
The breeze so cold,
My lips aren't pink.
On the rock I sat,
Thinking how this happened.
How they were dragged,
Dragged deep into the ocean.
I could do nothing,
Nothing at all.
As I stood watching,
Watching them drown.
My heart was smashed,
My face went blank.

Within a wink.

Gargled and filled with water,
