Leo
Finally the school day was almost over. I sat down in the room for free period and reviewed all my assignments for today.
So there's nothing for music and arts. I told myself. There's also some dumb worksheet for French, an English assignment, as well as a random thing for math. High school is basically trying to overload us with work. And it's only the first day!
"So, free period." A voice next to me said. I looked up, and saw Aquarius' face looking down at me.
I stoped thinking, and stared at his tousled platinum blonde hair, which looked like it wasn't combed properly. He had these beautiful olympic blue eyes. Oh gosh, they're so beautiful.
Dang, he's cute. I thought.
"Um, are you okay?" Aquarius asked me, looking extremely confused.
"Hm?" I stoped staring at him. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired."
He looked at me sideways, then shrugged. "If you say so then. I'll just take this seat over here." He sat down at the seat opposite to me.
I keep forgetting that he's philophobic. I cursed in my mind. But I like him. Oh shoot, am I catching feelings?
"You're definitely not okay." Aquarius gazed up from his laptop. "Why are you looking at me funny?"
"Nothing." I replied hastily, trying to cover up my feelings, even though I was obviously blushing. "Just thinking."
Aquarius paused. "Alright then."
Just then, the door opened, and the rest of the squad walked in.
"Y'all ain't gonna believe what a day I've had." Sagittarius said loudly.
"Tell me about it." Capricorn sighed. He sat down next to his brother Aquarius and took his textbooks out, rapidly flipping to find the page he was on.
"Cheer up, fellah." Sagittarius took the seat next to Capricorn, who was still busy trying to locate his page. "It'll be a nice day tomorrow."
"Yeah, come on, Cap." Gemini sat on the seat opposite from Sagittarius, two seats away from me. "You've got to be optimistic."
My brother Cancer sat down on my left. He didn't say anything, but I could tell that he was stressed. And tired. Really stressed and really tired. He buried his head into his arms and promptly fell asleep.
Taurus took one look at Cancer and moved to a seat next to Gemini. "Looks like someone's sleepy."
"Aren't we all?" Virgo asked as she took the seat to my right.
"I'm not." Pisces remarked. "Scorpio, did you see the way Ms Atalanta scored that goal in PE class? That was totally awesome!"
"Yeah, yeah." Scorpio said sluggishly. She would've fallen asleep too, but Pisces kept talking to her.
"I'll have to agree with Pisces." Libra sat down next to Virgo. "That goal was pretty impressive."
Aries heaved a sigh as he sat down at the only vacant seat. "How are you guys still so energetic?"
I didn't answer his question. I was busy staring at Aquarius again. I couldn't help it. I'm a sucker for cute guys, and that certainly applies to Aquarius.
"Earth to Leo?" Sagittarius yelled, earning her a "Shhh!" from Capricorn.
Oh shit, what did I miss? I thought, feeling my cheeks go red.
"Gotta lotta stuff to do?" Sag asked.
"Yeah." I responded casually, trying to ignore the weird looks everyone was giving me. "It's only the first day and we're being covered in homework!"
"I feel ya, bro." Taurus commented. He put his reading glasses on and started flipping through a thick dictionary. "That English task Mr Perseus gave us is just plain stupid."
Virgo looked up from her laptop. "It isn't that bad. Just a bit annoying. You can always use an online dictionary.
"I'm too lazy to take my laptop out." Taurus mumbled under his breath.
"Speaking of Mr Perseus, I wonder why he's come to this school." Libra mentioned. "I mean, it's a coincidence that he's teaching at our school again."
"Again?" Scorpio groaned.
Pisces added to Libra's theory. "I agree. Is he... some kind of spy pretending to be a teacher sent to spy on us?"
Aquarius looked up from his work. "Don't you think that's a bit too... out of the ordinary?"
"You're right." Pisces thought for a minute. "He's probably an alien from Area 51! Or a magical being from the sky! Hey, maybe he's one of those constellations!"
"Maybe he's not." Capricorn commented. Pisces slumped at the comment.
"Hey, let a girl dream!" Scorpio said, defending her friend.
"Aw, since when did my little sister start defending people?" Aries teased her. I gulped. Everybody knows not to mess with Scorpio.
Scorpio scoffed. "Since some time. You wouldn't know since you have such a small brain."
"OOOOOOOOOH!" Sagittarius yelled. "Gimme a high-five, gal!" Scorpio reluctantly high-fived Sagittarius.
I stared at my laptop. The google doc that I created for my English assignment was still empty.
I should probably get started and stop thinking about cute guys. I told myself.
Yeah, that's right, Leo. The voice in my head said. Get started on your tasks already.
"Alright." I said out loud. "What's my first task?"

"What have you done so far during free period?" Aries asked me on my way to the dorm.
"Not much." I replied. "I'm not motivated much to do my homework at all."
Aries looked me in the eye with a mischievous grin that I've never seen him have. "That's because you keep staring at Aquarius."
"W-what?" My entire face turned red. "I wasn't... I don't..."
"Spill it." He teased me. "You're in love."
"Alright, alright!" I was starting to get very frustrated at this point. "I can't help it, alright? He's cute."
Aries chuckled. "We'll do crazy things for love. But you know that Aquarius will just play 'hard-to-get', right?"
I sighed. "I just hope that this whole lovesick business doesn't ruin my entire school year. I'm a fucking hopeless bisexual."
"Like I said, love drives everyone crazy." Aries told me. "Heck, my sister fell for it once. She's a lesbian, and she's had a few girlfriends. Unfortunately, those relationships didn't end very well."
"Um, you sure that it's safe to talk about Scorpio like that?" I said nervously.
At the same time, I heard a loud yell from the back.
"ARIES YOU LITTLE BIT-"
"That's my cue to run!" Aries sped past me with Scorpio hot on his tail.
"Siblings, amirite?" A voice next to me said.
I turned around and immediately turned a shade of red.
Standing right next to me was Aquarius.
I jumped. "W-where the hell did you come from?"
"I was behind you." He responded, then gave me a confused look. "Why are you blushing?"
"I... Uh..."
Great, Leo. What have you gotten yourself into?
"Hey Leo!" Sagittarius skipped up right next to me. "I kinda need your advice right now."
"O-okay." I stammered.
Thank the Heavens. I thought.
Sag led me away from a very confused Aquarius.
"So what do ya need help with?" I asked her.
"Oh my goodness, Aries was right." Sagittarius face-palmed. "You really are lovesick for Aquarius."
"Yeah I am." I groaned. "Thanks for getting me out of that embarrassing situation."
"You're welcome." She replied.
We parted at the dorms. I heaved a big sigh. There was no way that I could undo this love thing now.
I sat on my bed and continued with my tasks. I was halfway through my French worksheet when Taurus poked his head through the door.
"I'm going to make dinner now." He said. "Come out when you're ready."
"I'm bi!" I yelled without looking up from my stuff.
Taurus sighed. "Not that kind of come out. You get what I mean."
Just as he slammed the door shut, I heard my phone ring. I picked up the phone to check who was calling me.
That's strange. I thought. Can't Cancer just come in and talk to me instead of calling?
"Leo?" Cancer said from the other side of the phone. "Are you and the rest of the 'squad' still in here?"
I cursed under my breath as I hung up. I put all my assignments down and walked out the door.
"I swore that he was following us." I muttered as I entered the small living room.
"Who?" Capricorn asked.
I looked at the four other guys in the living room. "We left Cancer in the free period classroom."

Me: I know, I know. Romance really isn't my thing anyways.
