The salty sea breeze whooshed through blonde locks. A tight grasp on a red metal beam, palms whitening. One simple step and it would be over. A surprising lack of sirens in the distance made him chuckle to himself. He would have thought someone might care. He was a top hero after all. There was so much pressure on him all the time. Too much pressure, he couldn't handle it anymore. The cruel words had gone straight to his head, and he didn't know why. Nothing had ever bothered him like this. This moment could be everything to him. Everything he wanted. All he could think about was his friends. Why didn't they care? Why didn't anyone care?
His sweaty palms let go of the metal, and he stepped off the edge. He could feel chilly air slipping around his body, and it made him smile a bit to himself. He didn't smile very often, afraid to show any emotions. His body hit the water in a matter of a few seconds, a loud splashing. The depths engulfed him quickly, and he was suddenly afraid. He tried to scream for help, but he was too deep underwater.
In a panic, he sat up, the comfort of his sheets still around him. He glanced to the side to see his lover laying there, sleeping peacefully. He had awoken from a dream, no, a nightmare. He was on top of the one beside of him in an instant, clinging tightly to the warmth. Groggily they awoke, cracking an eye up at him. "As long as I am here, no one can hurt you.." They cooed, catching onto the nightmare immediately. It wasn't too uncommon for him to have dreams like this, but he knew he could always rely on the one he loved. "Katsuki.." They said, holding him with the same love and comfort they always brought.
