RECAP- Sparrow passes out after discovering her ex-friend can now shape shift just like her
When I woke my head was pounding and a dull ringing was flowing through my ears, the light was too bright when I opened my eyes so I shut them and rubbed a hand across them, "finally you're awake"
I heard someone grumbled from nearby, I scoffed "And what about it?" I grunted moving my hand and blinking my vision clear to meet a light grey ceiling. Then two green eyes. Cat eyes.
I lurched back when the brown cat jumped onto the cushion near my feet and sat up high and mighty, before its mouth opened and it spoke "fix this", My mouth opened to fumble for words as another pain shot through my head.
Morgan.
Morgans a cat.
No...she's like me!
"Oh thank god you're awake, here drink some water" I glanced over to Georgia who rushed over with a glass of the liquid and pressed it into my hands. I frowned and stared at Morgan who sat staring right back at me with a menacing aura.
I blinked and her eyes narrowed, "drink the damn water already and fix me!" she hissed out and I narrowed my eyes squeezing the glass in my hand. Why did she think she had the right to boss me around?
the friend SHE betrayed.
and she hooked up with my DAD! (well not really my dad- dad- oh you get the point!)
"alright you two calm down" I squeezed the glass even harder as Georgia tried to diffuse the situation,
"I NEED TO FIX YOU? ME? THE FRIEND YOU STABBED IN THE BACK? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME MORGAN!?"
Her small green eyes widened and she stiffened as I screamed out my anger, my hand burned and stung just like my throat and lungs and when I glanced at it the glass had shattered and a dull ringing sounded in my ears.
Fresh droplets of red ran down my fingers,
no longer the soft tan of human skin,
but an icy-frigid blue with small raised patterns.
I let out a cry and dropped the remaining shards from my closed fist,
"Sparrow!" someone, I didn't know who, called out in panic-
I plummeted for a moment hitting the floor from backing off of the arm of the couch, I scrambled backward, words catching in my throat, surroundings blurring until I could only make out two figures that got up and were approaching me.
I slammed my hands against my ears to drown out the ringing as I felt my veins pulse and sting, I couldn't hear properly and could only taste the copper of blood in my mouth as I bit my tongue. I squeezed my eyes shut and huddled myself closer.
Everything was freezing, I wanted it to stop!
What's happening to me?
I felt something touch my shoulder and I flinched away, my eyes burned with tears and I felt them slide down my cheeks as I struggled for air that was all around me. I felt stuck- like space had gotten so much smaller.
and at the same time, something was missing inside of me.
I sucked in a deep breath and quickly opened my eyes, a figure was off to the side talking rapidly into something, the other pacing back and forth, I scrambled upright.
Black-spotted my vision but I ran to the nearest open door-the bathroom- I leaned in to the mirror and gasped loudly my heart plummeting to the pit of my stomach. My once soft golden brown eyes had been doused in a fiery red.
The whites of my eyes consumed with the raging colour-
my-my skin! It was blue all over! my hands felt over my face- it wouldn't rub off no matter how much I scratched at it. In fact, it was lined with raised marks just like on my hands, my hair remained its brown, and nothing else visibly changed,
aside from what seemed to be two small bumps-like-like small horns or something coming out of my forehead!

I gripped the edge of the sink and tried to breathe properly again,
I then heard a loud creak before an ear-splitting crunch. Looking down I held two fistfuls of the edge of the sink in each hand the white powder of the ceramic coating everything.
I let out a cry and I couldn't even decipher the volume of it with the ringing in my ears and heart racing a million miles an hour, I dropped the pieces and stumbled back hitting the shower curtain behind me and falling one foot over the other into the bath.
My head pounded with newfound pain as I groaned and writhed under the material that just settled for a filter of light making a glow of me a soft pink over my blue skin. I scratched and tore at it panicked, I couldn't see with the tears beginning to flow out of fear.
I coughed and choked on the air I was inhaling so quickly when I saw two hands fumbling with the material over me. My eyes widened when I was free but I cowered away when I saw who stood in front of me.
Nick fury stared back at me with both shock and sudden determination- but for what I did not know.
I lurched backward only to hit the back of the empty tub with force, he stood up tall, I recognized him from photos Nat had shown me when I stayed in her room-
that and all that time ago when he had sent people after me.
He glanced at the doorway with his singular eye and nodded his head to someone, I frowned and looked over just in time for hands to grab my ankles and yank me up. I cried and screamed my lungs out, everything was blurry, my heart was burning along with my lungs as I writhed and tried to kick the two men grabbing at me with gloves of some sort.
I swore and yelled until I felt something prick my neck and my eyelids refused to stay open a minute longer and my body refused to move.
I was surrounded by black and the only thought on my mind was,
Where is Loki?
