The question stunned me. I didn't-well I think I don't- love Luciano.
"I don't- I mean-" The words struggled to come out while Alice let out a small smile.
"You either love him or you're insane. You could have left at any point but here you are."
It's not like I had a choice most of the time. I couldn't help but think. "Luciano is frustrating. He's rude, possessive, and an asshole to be frank."
I smiled, tearing up as I thought of him. "Yet, he's a good listener, he may be temperamental sometimes but he tries to do the best for the people he cares about."
There were so many thing I could say about Luciano, good and bad, but sitting here at this moment there was only one thing Alice needed to hear.
"I think deep deep down, he's just a kid that always wanted his mothers love and approval. And as for Klaus-" I tried not to grimace as I thought of him gripping me by the neck.
My hand went there unconsciously rubbing the spot, "Klaus is different. Luciano is so warm but he's, well, cold. He wants to force me to love him. I think he created this narrative in his head but-"
"You don't feel anything?" Alice cut me off, leaning forward in her seat. "You can't try with him again?"
I scoffed, obviously she still only cared about Klaus and you know what? That's fine, I wasn't going to get sucked up in it. "What I am, is tired." I stood up again when a knock resounded through the house.
Casting a glance to Alice who sat numbly I went to open it.

There wasn't even a second to breath. As soon as Luciano spoke, Rose jumped into the mans arms as he picked her up in a crushing hug.
She didn't know where it came from but she started sobbing in his arms. The couple didn't know how long they held each other but when they finally pulled away Rose spoke.
"You came! You came to find me!" She grinned at the man who wouldn't let go of her hand.
"Of course I did!" He gripped her hand tighter, tugging her towards him as he wrapped his arms around her yet again. "Never pull some shit like that again." His voice was stern and the woman rolled her eyes.
It was typical Luciano fashion to still try to be commanding in a moment like this. But she let it slide, if she hadn't tried to do things on her own and drugged them, maybe this wouldn't have happened.
Alice cleared her throat.
The two turned their attention to her as well as Hans and Jasper who snuck in from the back. Luc pulled Rose behind him as he carefully analyzed their faces.
The man froze however when he saw Alice.
"You can't- I thought-" He stumbled over his words as the older woman stepped forward. Casting a glance at Rose who nodded in response she spoke.
"I know," She hesitated, acting as if she had more she wanted to say before gritting out the word, "son."
That was the first time she claimed the boy. Hearing that one word come out her mouth stunned the man.

Luciano wouldn't let Rose out of his sight.
Hell, he barely let her stand before he pulled the woman back into his chest. He had to touch her, feel her somehow otherwise the overwhelming fear that she could disappear would make him go insane.
The man didn't speak as they explained to him what the situation was. He about lost his mind when he saw the bruise one Rose's neck. He promised to rip his brother to shreds for touching her, but Alice went to Klaus' defense and well, they got off topic.
"I know it isn't reasonable, but the only way to fix this is you two to work together!" Alice threw her hands in exasperation as Luciano scoffed.
"You just don't want me to kill your favorite son."
At those words they glared at each other. Having enough of the bickering, Rose stood. Luciano quickly protested, hands reaching to pull her back but she shot out of his grasp. "Listen here, and listen good." The woman made her voice firm.
"The enemy here, is Mr. Vinetti. Alice may be right, we can't be divided we need Klaus-" She couldn't even finish her sentence before Luciano objected.
"What? You're up his ass too just because you spend one night together?" He growled as Rose froze.
How does he know that?
"It doesn't have anything to do with that!" She protested but Luciano continued.
"So you did sleep with him? What did you do? Where did he touch you?" He pestered her with questions, stepping closer with each one.
Rose grabbed the mans hand, pulling him with her down the hall to an empty room. She slammed the door shut before turning to him. "Why are you doing this? There is so much more to talk about then some one night stand!"
"Do you love him?" Luciano's voice wavered as Rose huffed.
"I don't, okay? I'm not in love with the guy."
"Do you love me?" He stepped closer pressing her into the door. Rose looked away from him but his hand gently turned her head back to his.
Pressing his forehead against hers, he looked the woman in the eyes. Rose could always see his true emotions when she looked him in the eyes. All his insecurities were on display at that very moment.
She had to look at herself though.
How did she feel?
She'd never been in love before, well not the romantic kind at least. Rose took a moment. She thought of her mother and father. Love was actions, it was intentions.
Why did she stay with Luciano? Did she love him? Thinking back to those moments she had with him she tried to figure out her feelings. He was obnoxious yet sweet, he was selfish yet caring. This man had so many parts to him and she wanted to figure them all out.
Maybe she wasn't head over heels in love with him like he claimed to be for her, but she did have feelings for him. Especially now that she knew how short life could be, she would tell him.
Looking back at Luciano she nodded, "I love you."
Luciano's entire face changed and before she could react his lips crashed onto hers. It was rough at first, like he was trying to put all of his emotions into one kiss. Rose kissed the man back and it slowly morphed into something sweeter.
His hands went down to her waist, pulling her against him as she raked her hands through his hair.
He pulled away, "Should we go back?" He breathed out, as Rose bit her lip. She didn't know what came over her but she couldn't help herself as shook her head, grabbing Luc by his collar and pulling him back down to kiss her.
He did so without complaint but she took it a step further. They continued making out as she began to unbutton his shirt. She slipped the shirt off him, trailing her fingers across his chest.
Luciano let out a small moan that made Rose more turned on. He pulled away much to her chagrin.
"If you keep going I'm not going to be able to stop." He spoke lowly as her hands tugged at his pants. Rose looked up at the man, a coy smile playing on her lips.
"I don't want you to." She finally got around his belt, but as she moved to pull his pants down Luciano spun her around, placing her back to his chest as he pressed against her she could feel his bulge.
"Rose." His voice was a low rumble in her ear. "Are you sure? Don't do this because you think you have something to prove." She shivered at his tone, grinding against him.

Placing soft kisses on her skin, he couldn't help but smirk as he heard her suck in a breath. Making his way down her stomach he paused at her panty line. Dragging the tip of his finger down the inside of her thigh, Luciano dipped his finger in the elastic band, running over her clit.
Rose bit her lip, her stomach swirling at the sensation.
