Beam wake up in the middle of the night. Perfect hickey on his boyfriend collarbone. He created that art. He traces it slowly with his right thumb. They Sleeping on the comfy bed. Their bed. His signature. Body tangle and attach. Warmth.
His phone is a blip in white colours. Probably arrived about hours ago. Seeing the notification come through the Messenger app.
It is from his mother.
We will touch down next weekend...
Sometimes he talks normally to his parents just like other son or daughter spoke to their parents.
Sometimes he feels like he needs to make some business deal while talking with his parents too.
Everything has been a plan for him. Everything is ready-made for him...to even the course and major he chose in University. He carries that name. His Father name. One of big pharmaceutical legacy at that. His mother has some reputation too.
Well, he has a plan too.
A thing he does behind Forth back, that is purposefully done, he has started these from months ago. Planning.
He thinks ahead...but sometimes he makes dumb decisions too...refer to current moments. Look at how they are fighting a lot. They argue and makeup later. Every couple does though.
One text messages to one of their family lawyer. He knows the young lawyer probably asleep. It's pretty late anyway. But work is work.

When he learned to be an adult. He not only learn how to be a successful Doctor to be. He learns about business too. When he tired of everything being plan ahead for him. He makes small investments in his their own legacy too, he also invests some stock from another big pharmaceutical legacy too. What he saw and learned has helped him a lot in the stocks investment. He is trying to build his own name in many fields. Even though he is only 20 when he started to plan. He knows money can change everything later. For his freedom.
He plans the future for himself and when Forth come in the picture. .. Beam become more optimistic. The plan is no longer only about him... but there is " Us " in it. With the help of Jamornhum, his plan has played a major turning point.

" Beam, how is the plan ?. " Park asked.
" Hm, almost perfect I guess. " Beam is sharp-witted. He is sitting together with Forth gangs, Lam, Frank, Posh and Park on the bench. Forth is on the field giving a talk to the freshman.
" He still don't know anything, don't him? " Beam nods.
Beam smile fondly shook his head " Well, after all this is should be his surprise birthday gift. " Beam says proudly
" What about your parents then? " Lam asked in consent
" They will arrive next weekend. I will plan dinner ahead with them. " Beam sigh
" Are you worried? " Lam asked
" I should be worried. But I am ready for this..." Frank smile
" I might don't know how much the future plan will change. But I know I will marry your best friends. One day. I now plan my carrier ahead... I will support his dream too. Make the plan work for both of us. " Beam utter
Lam smile " Damn Man... you are a keeper. Forth is a lucky man. " Posh and Park both make a thumbs up.
Beam shook his head " No...but I am the one who hit the jackpot..." They laugh together. Forth raised his eyebrow when he heard them laugh, Beam just sending him playing kissed instead, he charges up.

When he first time meet with Forth's whole family back then when he come home together with Forth during Songkran holiday. That is one big started.
Jamornhum has their own brand reputation. Given it was one of big-name in Industries. Jamornhum LTD is the company specialize for the industrial and construction sector and that also involved in the manufacturing of certain petrochemical products.
Being accepted to the family, when Forth introduces him to his parent, his sister and brother. He always knows how big is Forth's love for him. And that proved more how serious is Forth with him.
Forth's mother grows closer to him. They often texting and calling each other. More than phone call he has made to his own parents that usually happened once in a month. Fucking time zone and perhaps habits. He doesn't slip further nor he grew closer from his own parents... It is just it's always been like that since he was still a little kid.
When he coming to the house that full with laughter, it was sure making him think about his own house... he spots the difference. Totally.
His parents are a bit different, maybe... that always find adventure in their work fields. A successful parent...big name. Vongviphan and Wonpihat, two corporations that become one big legacy for a long time already have owned the biggest deal with healthcare and pharmaceutical in country; thus also involved in humanitarian organisations...by providing the facilities to the organisations for Doctor without Borders, his parents lead the first elite team from their country, the chosen team. It is was kind of different team, compare to others; new researches and new drugs and technologies; also link to the government and other non-government. That how big deal it is, his parents.
When Forth's parents ask him calling them Mae and Pa from the first moments they met instead of an uncle or Auntie... Beam feel the warmth. He likes it.
When he learned about Forth dreams. The man dreams to build his own legacy instead of working under Jamornhum legacy. Beam know he wanted to be involved in that.
One day, when he comes to meet Forth's father alone when the elder visited the city back then. They talk about business in the first 30 minutes, the elder is impressed, and that how Beam started to make investments in it. It is was enough making the elder surprised by his actions actually, rare to see someone that studying medicine but has a mind as a busy businessman. That how he grew closer to Forth's father too.
One time he talks with his family lawyer... the young lawyer rather surprised when Beam asked about how much all his assets, that he own whether by inheritance from his great grandmother, or all the stock and share he has bought and invested.
One, it was always been Uncle Tan, be the one that handles the stock and share management for him. That man, uncle Tan is one of his Father loyal, his father right-wing person and the one that teaches him a lot in business management. Of course, his parents not aware of his involvement in this business field. They always thought that he always be trouble maker, a brat.
The small investments and big investments on some property; he has made since he interested in stocks and share. Now, he has made some good profits from it. With that much money, he even plans to open one Specialist Clinic in future, under his own name, that was his original plan. With Forth in his plan is already evolved.
He still has everything even if his parents throw him out from that legacy. He always different, he said to himself. But still, that is his parents. The feeling of beings accepted, the approval he longs for. The blessing. That is the matter.
Forth is always be true to himself. Beam know that for sure. Beam remember their early talk about when their still-new relationship.
" I went to see my family last weekend. I always share with them, everything, you know ..." Forth says.
" I don't want to lie to them, I wanted to tell them about us... " That conversation is how Beam met with Forth"s parents a month later and have a lunch together with them. The official meeting with Jomurhum. That happened before Songkran holiday when Beam first time coming home with Forth.
The idea of being together, to grow old and die. He knows he can't keep the secret from his parents forever. That make Beam amended his plan back then, for both of them.
When he successful enough... with his own effort and skill. So no one can't say anything to him. Nobody even his parents could touch anything about them living together. Beam thought, so he works his plan faster over time. He almost there. He has come to a point... he should no longer care about another opinion.
No more hiding. As he said, he is ready to face the real deal of being an adult.

He has to find the right moments to tell Phana and Kit about his status. He wondered what would be their reaction.

So when he planned the dinner out with Phana and Kit on that evening. Those two obviously agreed to it. Dinner is on him anyway.
When they finished their dinner. Beam worries face showed. Phana immediately knows he is up to something. Kit noticed it too.
" You two always remind me... I should tell you if I have something to talk about...If have a secret. " Beam phrase
Phana nods. Kit nods.
" Let me guess...you have something to tell us...? " Kit assume
Phana waiting, his finger makes a drum on the table surface.
" I am in love..." Beam express.
" Come again? " Phana immediately reacted

Kit sigh " I told you so. The ' If a thing ' is possible " Kit folds his arm onto his chest
Phana sigh heavily " How long ?. " Phana ask
Beam smile is softened " In the next 2 weeks will be one Year. " Beam utter like it a small announcement
" What again ?? " Phana as he stunned
" In next 2 weeks will become one Year " Kit repeat...then his eyes open widened " Wait a minute! " Kit pause " You mean one year as in 365 days? " Kit asked again. His voices are loud. Phana pinches his bride of nose
" almost one fucking year?? "
" Yes... minus the flirting time and when he started courting me..." Beam said proudly
" Hold on!!! " Kit says out loud
" He ?? As for him ?. A guy ?. A man ?. Have a dick? " Kit eyes don't blink at all. He staring straight at Beam
Beam chuckles " Have a big dick! " Beam declared proudly
Phana almost jumped when he gets up and sitting back, he speechless.
Kit closes his mouth with his hand. He looking at stunned Phana and Beam in turn.
" All this time? " Kit asked after he calmed down.
Beam nods again " Yeah. " " I thought of many things... my parents. People around me... I didn't mean to hide about me from you. I used to be scared... you know. People and expectations... but from now on I want to be true. I have a plan too. I am sorry, I broke my promises again, and but no more secret, that what I want to tell you. " Beam confessed

They are all silence
Beam waiting
" Are you happy with him? " Phana asked
Beam nods " I am. "
" Did he treat you alright? " Phana concerned
" He is. 10/10. Well, I am the one that threats him badly..." Beam says
" How so? " Kit asked
" The whole time, he won't want to hide. But I make him so. We are good now. We are happy... " Beam state. His smile fondly, reaching his eyes.
That smile. Phana miss that smile from him.
Kit notices it too. Our Beamy!
Silence for awhile...
Phana stare at Beam. And so does Kit. Beam waiting
" Then we are good " Kit says.
Phana nods " If he hurting you. He will face us. "
Beam chuckles " His friends said the same. They probably kill me if anything..." Beam joke
Phana snorted " I will kill all of them before they come for you ..."
" It's war then..." Kit added
The trio laughed out loud.

" Who is the lucky guy, do we know him? " Kit asked
Beam gulped

" You heard him...tell us..." Phana rushes him
Beam sigh " You two know him. He knows you too. His friends know you too. You know them too...so, hmm " Beam state
" Oh... " Phana raised his eyebrows

" Tell us..." Kit demand
" The one that wanted to find his lost Cinderella... technically. He met Beam Baramee instead. " Beam says
" That Forth guy? " Beam nods
" As in Forth Jaturapoom Jamornhum ?. " Kit phrase

Beam sit at their usual place in his faculty, their table, just exclusive for Crazy Doctor gangs. It is Friday by the way. He heard some talking about him, people talking. Because this morning he rides with Forth to the campus instead of driving his car. Well, that is fine though.
But no, when people witness how Forth has kissed his cheek before he left. No, when he is blushes and No when he smiled fondly at Forth right after the kisses. If that speaks of something. If that means something. Beam walk proudly. a smile doesn't leave his lips. He still looks stunning, but the girls are mentally screaming in frustration, freaking out.
