•Scarlett's POV•
"Its okay Scar, dont worry about it." Melissa said concerned. Shes been trying to cheer me up since science, i told her what happened and shes very understanding. I looked up and saw almost everyones eyes on me, i glanced over to the 'populars' table and saw Harry smirk. Ok?
"What was that all about?" i whispered to Melissa. We took our usual seats at the back of the cafeteria with a few other people who i can actually have a civil conversation with.
"When's Jason coming back?" Melissa questioned, her brown eyes filled with hope.
"4 days, i cant wait!" i said smiling for once today.
"Babe, When are you going to tell him about the physical abuse?I mean, he deserves to know, he is your best friend. What are you afraid of?" Melissa whispered so no one else would hear. I've been thinking about telling Jason for awhile now, but i never had the guts too, i guess i was just scared to see his reaction, he might think of me as weak, useless, and not capable to standup for myself.
"I promise i'll do it soon. Okay?" i told her. She looked at me skeptically but continued eating.
After we finished eating, we both had Gym next, i wasn't the best person in gym, but i'm not that bad either, Melissa however is amazing in gym! Its like her best subject. We were about to pick up our trays and throw out our garbage when a folded piece of paper landed infront of my hand that said 'To Scarlett' on it i looked up, afraid to see who threw it and i saw the curly haired devil smirking at me. I looked over to Melissa and she was giving me questioning looks. I slowly touched the paper, making sure it wasn't a bomb... or anything like that. I picked it up and read it, surprise was written all over my face as i read the note:
' Hey babe(; Love your hair.

That bastard, i thought i quickly showed it to Melissa, i got up out of my seat, crumpled up the paper, and threw it directly at harry, hitting him right in his perfectly shaped nose.
"I'm not falling for that." I snarled as i walked past him.
"Just trying to be nice." he said smiling while shrugging his shoulders. Then the devil and his group walked out.
•Niall's POV•
"Li, who do you think is going to win this bet?" i asked the older boy infront of me.
"Honestly, i think Harry. Have you seen this kid? He's one of the best flirts ever, and besides they used to be friends he knows her weaknesses." He said, That actually did make sense in a way.
"Yeah but, She hates Harry a lot, its unbelievable! I'm going on Lou's side."
He nodded and we continued walking to our next class. It was a few minutes later when i remembered to ask Liam what i wanted to ask him.
"Uh, Remember when harry gave the note to Scar at lunch...?"
"Yeah."
"I noticed all these bracelets she was wearing, its a bit weird, yeah?" He slowed down his pace,
"What are you saying?" he asked
"Well, you dont think she cuts herself, because of us, and the other people?" this time, he stopped walking and he looked at me,
"N-No way. She has no reason to cut." He said looking at me, shakily. I nodded and continued walking.
"You never know" i whispered softly.

[ After school]
•Zayn's POV•
"Dont you think thats a bit harsh? Yeah, i understand its a prank but its a little extreme isn't it?" I asked the 4 boys around me.
"Nah zayn, this might actually get me to win the bet, Today!" Harry replied.
"And even if it doesn't work, its still a good laugh." Louis said. What are we doing? you might ask, well Harry, and Louis came up with a 'prank' they could play on Scarlett, i would usually be 100% for it, but today my mind has been distant. I glanced over to Niall, and Liam, they haven't said anything, just a few simple nods here and there.
"Oh, guys, i still have to make plans to do the science project with her, i'm going to ask her after, okay?" i said remembering the 'whales project' we had to complete.
"Alright sure, But are you actually looking forward to working with her?" Louis and Harry chuckled.
"What?! Pfft, no." i said playing it cool. But that was the problem...
Was i actually looking forward to the project?
"Alright here she comes! Lets do this."
•Scarlett's POV•
Alright, this is strange. I've been getting these weird looks all afternoon. I said goodbye to Melissa as i started my journey outside the school building, i passed by the front, this is when i'd usually get my 'daily beatings' but it never came. I looked around for the populars, but never found them. Thats when at the corner of my eye, i spotted a body lying lifeless on the floor, i ran closer to it, and i saw a mess of curls, i instantly knew that was harry. It was like my feet had a mind of its own, it carried me over to harry's side, and i dropped to my knees beside him,
"Harry? Harry? Harry are you okay?! Can you hear me?!" i whisper- yelled while slapping his cheek lightly to wake him up. What was i doing? This boy has bullied me for the past 3 years! Why am i helping him? I felt tears form in my eyes as i looked at him, lifeless on the floor.
"Boo! got you!" Harry suddenly yelled, sitting straight up, i looked behind the wall and saw all the populars come laughing from behind it, I was enraged, how could he do this? This was low! Even for him!
"Aw, you care about me, don't you." He said, a smirk on his face. I just wanted to slap that cocky grin off his face, but instead i got up and ran as fast as i could, i heard laughter coming from behind me, as i ran out of school, and back home. I still never got a chance to fix my car. I slammed the door shut and slid down, crying.
I ran to the bathroom, and grabbed the razor. I made a deep cut, the blood was all over the floors, and i couldn't care less. Why am i still here?! I got up and kicked the wall making pain shoot up threw my leg. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw a waste of space standing infront of me.
Ugly.
Unwanted.
Unloved.
Annoying.
Useless.
Garbage.
Worthless.
Just like my tattoo said, 'Worthless.'

I had just finished eating a salad for dinner.
I know right. Its not enough you might be saying; but, when you have people calling you fat everyday, its hard not to starve yourself. I was really hungry, but i refused to eat anything else, i looked at the clock beside me. 9:44pm, i decided to go to bed. I was just about to close my eyes when my phone beeped, signaling an incoming message. I opened it.
Jason: Hey Scar.I'll be home in 4 days! I'm having a great time.(: Cant wait to see you though, Melody says hi. You asleep yet? xx
I smiled at the message, and began typing my reply.
Scarlett: Hey Jas. I cant wait to be with my bff again(: i miss you! tell Melody i said holla ! (: Whats up? xx
Jason: I'm actually in the hotel room, Melody is taking a shower and i got bored so i texted you, Hows school?xx
Scarlett: It's... whatever. The 'populars' pulled a prank on me today. And i've got a stupid science project with Zayn. xx
Jason: Hang in there bud, You'll be okay. And that sucks! Has the bullying gotten any better or worse?xx
Scarlett: I've been meaning to talk to you about it... Jason, I need to tell you something...
Jason: Yeah? Whats wrong Scar?): xx
i was about to reply telling him about the physical abuse, but then i realized that it would be better to tell him, face to face, and i also dont want to ruin his holiday.
Scarlett: Forget it, its alright. i gtg, Talk to you tomorrow. Bye Jason.xoxo
Jason: You're going tell me when i get back ! Bye Scar, Sleep well.xx
i was about to turn the phone off when i got an incoming call from a number i didn't recognize, i answered it hesitantly.
"Hello?"
"Hey, uh, it's Zayn. Did i wake you up?" What?! Zayn? How did he get my number and more importantly why was he calling me now?
"Uh, no. What do you want?" i said a bit ruder than intended.
"Whoa, calm down. I just wanted to talk about the science project."
"Yeah, cause the last time i tired, it worked out perfectly, right?" I answered a bit annoyed by the fact that he doesn't remember how he insulted my mom.
"Yeah, about that sorry."
"Whatever. How'd you get my number?"
"Harry's mom."
"k."
"So uh, want to met tomorrow after school to do the um, project?" i was actually surprised by his question.
"This is another prank, so no."
"No! no i swear its not! Trust me!"
I laughed a cold laugh when he said 'trust me'.
"As if i would ever trust you."
"Look. If you want to fail, fine i dont really care."
"Fine. I'll do it. But aren't you afraid to be seen with me because of your reputation?"
"Its not like I'm going to enjoy it!" That stung, i wont lie. He continued,
"and besides, the boys already know about it."
"Fine."
"Okay, i'll um, give you the details tomorrow."
"Yeah, Bye." I could've sworn i heard him whisper a 'bye Beautiful' before he hung up.
Ha! Who am i kidding? i'm probably hearing things. I set my alarm to 6:00am, and i put my phone on the bed side table. It was then when i realized what i'd just done.
I, Scarlett Rose, Has just had a civil conversation with my second worst high school bully.
