Chapter 28: Oh Brothers!
My parents were out of town, which means Nick and Joe came over to watch me and Frankie. It's like they don't trust us at all anymore since Frankie pulled the party stunt, now thanks to Frankie, mom and dad will never trust us home alone again...
Nick got me the new iPhone XS that I have been wanting. My other phone was the iPhone 8 Plus. I was loving it! He said I was doing really well with my school work, listening to mom and dad and doing my social media's, that he decided to give me an upgrade.
I was on Instagram live talking with my fans about the new iPhone Nick got me and told them I have a bunch of content coming soon on all my social media's. Just then Joe came in interrupting me saying.
Joe: Melissa, did you do the list of chores, mom and dad gave you to do?
Melissa: *whines* I'll do it in a minute... yeah sorry guys that was my brother, anyways, as I was saying...
Joe: *sighs* end the live Melissa, I'm talking to you
Melissa: I'm busy
I squealed, when Joe took two big steps over to me and tried to grabbed my phone from out of my hand but I bit his arm and he pulled back his arm.
Joe: ow! You little brat
Melissa: maybe you shouldn't be taking my phone, while I'm live
Nick: *comes in* hey
Joe: would you talk to her please, she's not listening to me, and she just bit me
Nick: Melissa, did you bite Joe?
Melissa: yeah because he was taking my phone away, when it's not his job
Nick: you know the rules, when mom and dad are away, you have to listen to who is in charge
Melissa: *pouts* I said I would do it later
Joe: I want you to do it now...
Melissa: please Joey... a couple more minutes *pulls out puppy dog face*
Joe: *looks away* stop that, I'm not falling for that
I continued giving Joe the look until he gave in.
Joe: nope, not happening
I pouted, usually that always works on Joe...
Joe: end the live Melissa
Melissa: no, it's my phone
Nick: that I paid for, which can be easily taken away, if you don't do what you're told
Melissa: Nicky, pleaseeeeeeee couple more minutes
I said giving him the look as well, his face soften, and Joe looked shocked. Nick is such a softy when it comes to his baby sister.
Nick: Joe-
Joe: Nicholas, don't you do this to me... if I can turned it down, so can you
Nick: come on dude, she's our little sister. I trust her, she will do what she says
Melissa: yeah, I'll do what I say
Joe: *huff* fine... if you haven't done your chores by dinner tonight you're a sorry little girl
Joe said giving me a warning look before turning to leave but I said.
Melissa: will see about that...
Joe grumble and walked into the kitchen, and I sigh in relief. I didn't realize I held my breath that long.
Melissa: thank you Nicky!
Nick: don't make me regret it Mel, if your chores not done like Joe said, your phone is gone
Melissa: *gulps* yes Nick
Nick nods and proceeds to follow Joe in the kitchen, but I stopped him.
Melissa: oh, everyone on my live says hi
I said showing Nick on the live and he waves and says hi and told me.
Nick: end the live and do your chores
Melissa: okay-okay!
Nick gave me a warning look before heading into the kitchen where Joe went.
Now that, that was over with. I flipped the camera back towards me
Melissa: sorry ya'll had to witness my brothers scolding me. My parents are out of town, and they're "babysitting" me
The fans were questioning if I was okay, and they say I should end the live and listen to my brothers, but I told them they're not the boss of me, and I could do what I want. I wasn't afraid of my brothers.
This is the longest I ever been on live talking with my fans, I even showed them my camera rolls, not the the private stuff, those were a bit inappropriate.
It's been a couple of hours, and I didn't realize someone snatch my phone out of my hand.
???: are you kidding me!
Melissa: *looks up* yes Joe?
Joe: I was asking what you wanted for dinner, but you were still wrap up in your phone. Have you been in the same spot since I left you?
Melissa: not really, now I'm laying on my stomach
Joe: *gives me look* you have been too addictive to your phone lately. Did you even start doing your chores?
Melissa: no...
Joe: oh my god Mel! It's almost dinner time. What did I tell you what happened if your chores wasn't done by dinner
Melissa: *squirms in seat* that I would be in big trouble with you
Joe: exactly, no phone for the rest of the weekend
Melissa: what if I need it to call mom and dad!
Joe: you should have thought about that before you lost your phone privileges. Are you still on live?
Melissa: *blush* yeah... *scratch back of neck*
Joe: *looks at the live* uh... sorry guys, didn't realize this thing was still on. Sorry you had to witness that
I bet a lot of people on my live were freaking out about Joe, I mean they were already were when they heard Nick and Joe's earlier today.
Joe: Melissa will be on punishment, she won't be able to post on the weekends, until her behavior changes
Melissa: what?!
Joe: you heard me, now go start your chores *ends live*
Melissa: okay-okay!
Joe: *gives me look* what?
Melissa: *gulps* I mean... yes Joe...
Ugh, Joe is being totally unfair! Also I never seen him act so serious around me before, he's always so fun and goofy to be around. Never thought of him as a strict brother type, only Kevin and Nick.
Joe: and you better believe it I will tell mom and dad this
Melissa: no Joe, please!!! I can't get in trouble with dad, can't you just cut me some slack
Joe: no, you need to understand who is in charge here young lady, and you need to treat us with respect like you do with every other guest that comes in the house
Melissa: but you're no guest. You're my brother
Joe: *throws hand* I give up! *enters kitchen*
Melissa: can I have my phone back?
I said going after Joe in the kitchen.
Joe: no you can't have your phone back, what did I just tell you
Melissa: until the weekend is over
Joe: exactly
Melissa: Nick!
I said to Nick sitting down at the table and he shook his head.
Nick: nope, I'm staying out of this, and I warned you as well. And now your phone is getting confiscated for the weekend
Melissa: this is totally unfair! So what, you guys are grounding me?
Joe: yep that's exactly right. Until you're attitude changes
Melissa: ugh!!!
I put my head down on the table and Nick said touching my arm.
Nick: we warned you Melissa, and you refused to listen, so until your attitude changes, you can have your phone back. Do you understand me?
Melissa: yes Nick
Nick: good, we order sushi. I ordered your favorite
Melissa: *mumbles* thanks
Nick: go do your chores before dinner gets here
I groan and sat up and got up to go do my chores.
I got some of my chores done when the food arrived, and I refused to talk to my brothers at the diner table, even Frankie. Even tho he didn't do anything.
Melissa: *to Joe* when can I have my phone back?
Joe: *not looking up* Sunday, before we go home, maybe longer if you keep asking depends on your behavior too. Your phone will be given to mom and dad and they will take it from their
Frankie: woah, Mel what did you do to pissed off Joe?
Melissa: me piss him off? He's being over dramatic
Joe: I'm being over dramatic??? See this is what I'm talking about!
Frankie: Mel, you heard dad. Joe and Nick are in charge and you have to listen to what they say
Melissa: he's not my dad
Frankie: and dad will have a word with you when he gets home, if you keep this up
Melissa: dad not my dad either
Frankie: true, but he's the closet thing you have to father right now, as well as Joe is the closet thing you have to a brother, and you need to treat him with respect like you do with everyone else that stays here
Melissa: *grumbles* fine... I'm sorry Joe and Nick for my bad attitude, it won't happened again
Nick: no problem kid *ruffles my hair*
Joe: thank you Mel
When Sunday came around, I got my phone back and I was saying goodbye to the boys.
Melissa: *hugs Joe* I'm sorry Joey, I didn't mean to take my attitude at you at all this weekend. I was just mad at that dad because he made you guys babysit me when I'm almost 15 years old
Joe: it's alright kiddo, you maybe almost 15, but you're still a minor until you're 18 or out of the house. Understand me?
Melissa: yes Joe, I guess I forget sometimes how serious you can be, and I take you for granted sometimes
Joe: it's alright kiddo *kiss top of forehead* love you
Melissa: love you too!
Nick: Joe, our Uber is here. Bye kiddo
Melissa: bye Nicky! I'm sorry *hugs him*
Nick: it's alright kiddo, try harder next time tho alright?
Melissa: okay, I promise. No more attitude
Nick: that my good girl
He ruffles my hair and Joe did the same and I said to the two of them.
Melissa: watch the hair!
They chuckled at me and said goodbye to my parents and Frankie before walking out the door with their luggage and I close the door behind them and dad said.
Dad: good girl, upstairs to your bedroom. I wanna have a few words with you about that mouth of yours. And don't you dare say you weren't being mouthy this weekend, your Instagram live says other wise
Melissa: *gulps* yes sir
I sigh, I sometimes forget that my parents follows me on Instagram. I have to block them next time. I dragged my feet up the stairs and waited for my dad in my bedroom. When he finally came, he spanked me with the hairbrush, while giving me a lecture about my behavior this weekend.
