The Next Morning - Ray's POV
I wake up at my usual time, 6:30 am, and I get dressed to go running.
I put on my shoes and I tie my hair up into a pony tail.
I head downstairs and I do my normal stretches at the door.
"What are you doing up so early, kid?" Tema asks and then yawns as she walks towards the door, in running clothes.
"I go on a run every morning." I say to her as I start my music.
"Oh, cool, I do that too, and so did your Mom." Tema says to me and I finish stretching as my music plays.
Tema does her stretches.
My phone buzzes like crazy, and I almost drop it.
I see everyone in class texted me all at once. "These idiots should still be asleep." I say annoyed as my eyebrow twitches.
"Who?" Tema asks confused.
"My entire class." I say and I see a link they sent me.
I click on it, and I almost throw my phone at the wall.
Its a picture of me, at training when Takedo was at the school, its captioned what I said about being a Symbol of Peace.
"That free lance writer is fucking lucky I'm legally not aloud to kill him." I twitch and Tema laughs.
I ignore my phone as it plays my music through my earbuds.
Tema decides to join me on my run, and we come across a huge fight between villains and hero's.
I stop and so does Tema.
I hit the villain with a blast of water and he falls.
The heros look around in confusion.
"Woah." Tema says shocked.
The hero's look right at us.
"Well? Are you gonna capture him or not?" I ask the hero's.
They sweat and the villain gets up and runs at me.
I watch him and I sweep him up in water when he comes within a ten foot radius.
I roll my eyes as he tries to use his quirk.
"Wh-What? Where did my quirk go? Why can't I use it?" He asks shocked.
I use my quirk to restrain him, and the police take him away.
"That was awesome." Tema says shocked.
I shrug and the hero's surround me.
"Are you a new hero?" One asks.
"No." I reply.
"Are you a villain." Another asks.
"No." I reply again.
"Then how do you have so much experience?" Another asks me confused.
"She's training to be a hero, at U.A." Tema says to them with a grin.
I duck from the attention and I continue with my run.
After my run ends, I head back to the house and I go up to my room.
I shower and change into a pair of sweat pants, and a black T-shirt.
I brush through my hair, I blow dry it and I flatten it.
I leave my hair down and I brush my teeth.
I head down to the kitchen and I make breakfast, and I make myself some tea.
"It smells good." Peter says to me with a yawn ending his sentence.
"I would hope so." I say to him amused and I sit at the table with Peter.
"Where's Mom?" Tara asks confused.
"I lost her." I say in a calm tone.
"HOW?" Tara shrieks.
"We got stopped on our run, by a villain fight, I helped the hero's out, not unusual, but then afterwords, they questioned me, and I was able to duck from their attention, but Tema wasn't exactly as fortunate as me." I say with a small shrug.
My phone like crazy and I look at it to see my class trying to get me to answer them.
I set my phone down and ignore them, putting my phone on silent.
Peter looks amused as I scowl at my phone.
I finish my food and I wash my plate.
"So, has Mom stamped either of your papers yet?" Tara asks us.
I sweat drop. "Not mine." I say to her as I sit down at the table again.
"Mine either." Peter says to her.
"Well, that's because you two have yet to prove what your made of yet, why should I accept your work studies if you haven't proved to me, that your worth the effort?" Tema asks behind us.
"I'm going back to school then." I say as I get up.
"Same." Peter agrees.
"Wonder how Katsuki did on his exam, Shoto too." I say and Tema just stares at us surprised. "I'm pretty Endeavor would take me in his agency, my quirk proves useful to him, and I'm friends with his children, and his wife." I say with a small shrug as I walk towards the stairs.
"Yeah, and I did have an agency before that I worked with after I got my license." Peter says to me.
I fist bump him.
"You two are terrible, but that means less work for me." Tema says with a shrug.
I head to my room and I pack my stuff, then I put Eve in her carrier.
I head down to the door and Peter meets up with me.
"I'm coming with you." Tara says to us with a grin.
I look at her and I shrug. "If you want." I say and she runs upstairs and two minutes later, she's back infront of us.
"Oh, I need my phone." I say as I tap my pocket and its not there.
I walk to the dining room and I grab my phone from the table, then I head back to the door.
Tema stares at us with a deep intensity.
"Ah, tell Tony and May that I can babysit Adrien in a few days." I say to Tema and she continues to stare at me. "If your trying to guilt me into trying to prove my worth, its not gonna happen, I can't give two fucks about that." I say to her and she pouts.
"Your so much like him!" Tema cries and I look at her curious, as does Peter.
"Who?" Me and Peter ask.
"Her dad!" Tema says pointing at me.
"Eh." I say and I walk to the door.
"What do you mean, eh, don't you want to know who he is?" Tema asks me.
I snort. "He wasn't there when Mom needed him, which means he either didn't know, or he did know but didn't care." I say and Tema shakes her head.
"It wasn't like that, he was still in his teens when he got your Mom pregnant, he did know about you though." Tema says to me.
"Then why didn't he help Mom?" I ask her.
"I don't know." Tema says to me.
I just snort quietly. "I've lived 16 almost 17 years without a decent father figure, except for Tony but I'm never here, I can live a while longer without looking for him." I say and Tema looks upset.
"That's harsh." Peter says to me.
"I have my brother, I have Inko, I have my teachers, and I've got my cousins, my aunt and uncle. I'm fine without him." I say to Peter and he nods.
"Yeah, its probably best anyways, you'd kill him if you knew who he was." Tema says with a sigh.
I stare at her for a long moment. "You mean I already know him?" I ask her.
Tema nods. "Your pretty oblivious." Tema says to me.
I twitch slightly. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I ask her.
Peter shrugs as does Tara.
Tema looks me in the eyes. "I'm sure people have asked you why you look similar to him, why you act similar to him. And your quirk had similar properties to his." Tema says to him.
I stare at her for one long ass moment.
People have asked why I look like and act like Aizawa, and my quirk can erase other people's quirks. But-
"Your right, I am gonna kill him." I say once it clicked.
"I have to watch this." Peter says as I leave the house calmly.
I head to the train station and I know Tara and Peter are behind me.
We ride to U.A.
I take my cat to my dorm room and Katsuki is laying on my bed, napping.
I let Eve loose and I get her situated.
Katsuki hugs me from behind as I fill Eve's water dish. "You have killing intent coming off you in waves." Katsuki says to me.
"I'm about to kill our fucking teacher." I say and Katsuki looks confused.
"Why?" Katsuki asks me.
"Because he's my dad." I say to him and Katsuki stares at me in surprise. "Oh he has explaining to do, and if it sounds reasonable, he lives, if not, I drown the ever loving crap out of him." I say to him and Katsuki kisses my cheek as I turn the water off.
I put Eve's water bowl down in its usual spot in my room.
I then go fine Aizawa, as Katsuki, Tara and Peter follow me, and I find him in the school office.
All the teachers look around when water starts dumping on Aizawa's head.
They see me, in all my fury.
"I have a serious bone to pick with you and I'm very upset." I say to Aizawa as I give him a small break.
Aizawa looks annoyed. "What could possibly-"
"Your my fucking father!" I yell at him and Aizawa falls in surprise along with Mic, and Midnight.
I practically fume as Aizawa gets up and stares at me with wider eyes than normal.
"I'm your what?" Aizawa asks me.
I snort and shake my head.
"I smell drama." Midnight says as she sits up with a bowl of popcorn.
"Your gonna be murdered." Peter says to Aizawa.
Aizawa grimaces a little and he sits down with Mic. "We're gonna talk about this later in the dorms." Aizawa says to me.
"We're gonna talk about this now, before I fucking drown you." I say to him as I shake.
"Bakugou, take your girlfriend to get cooled down." Aizawa says to him.
Katsuki shakes his head. "You didn't fucking grow up with her, she's wanted to know all her damn life, but she could never find out." Katsuki says to him.
Aizawa stares at me.
"I've never seen her blow up before." Peter says shocked.
I deflate and put my hands in my pockets. "It takes too much energy to be that pissed off." I say and that makes Tara and Peter sweat drop. I stare at Aizawa. "You have three minutes to explain, why the hell you didn't help my Mom when she needed it." I say to Aizawa in a calm tone and he stares at me.
"She asked me not to get involved until you were old enough to understand that I was still in school when that happened." Aizawa says to me.
"That didn't mean you had to." I say to him.
Aizawa nods. "Your Mom was older than me by a lot, and she thought it would be best." Aizawa says to me.
I stare at him for a long ass moment.
"Wow, Shota, I totally see how you two are related now." Mic says shocked.
I blink. "Fuck you." I say to Aizawa as I raise my middle fingers at him. "Oh by the way, my work studies didn't work out with Kazekage, I'm not gonna prove my fucking worth to a hero. So I'm gonna find someone else." I say and everyone around me is stunned.
"She's not gonna kill him." Tara says shocked.
"Ok who the fuck are you?" Katsuki asks her.
"Kazekage's daughter, she's transferred here for the rest of the year." I say to Katsuki. "Her name is Tara Subaku. She'll be interesting specimen for my brother." I say and Katsuki laughs.
Tara looks confused. "Specimen?" Tara asks confused.
"The shitty nerd likes to study new quirks." Katsuki says with a smirk.
"Midnight, which class is Tara in?" I ask her.
Midnight shuffles through papers and finds one. "Class 1-A." Midnight says to me.
I nod and turn around, but I turn right back around. "For the record, I don't give a fuck if your my father or not, just continue to teach me like normal." I say to Aizawa and he nods.
I leave the room with Katsuki and he takes my hand once we're out of sight.
I hold onto his arm and Katsuki let's me.
Me, Katsuki and Tara head to the 1-A dorm house, as Peter leaves to his.
We get to the dorms and Mina almost tackles me on the spot, but I move behind Katsuki, so Mina falls on her face.
"Announcement!" I call and everyone in the house gathers.
"What is it Ray?" Ochako asks me.
"This is Tara Subaku, a transfer, she comes from the bahamas, but her Mother is Kazekage. Also, I'm not doing the work study with Kazekage, I don't have the patience to prove I'm worth the effort. But Tara is in our class. Izu, inform her of everyones quirks, Ida, could you tell her th3 schedule and whatnot, and Momo, can you go with her to get her uniform and show her to an empty female dorm room?" I ask and the three nod. "Mina, Hagakure, don't scare her off, that goes for you too Denki. And Mineta, I will fucking destroy you if your trying to peak in on her while she's changing and what not." I say to the idiots.
Mineta hides.
"Kiri, please watch the idiots." I say to him.
"You can count on me, Ray!" Kiri says and fist bumps me.
"Aww come on!" Mina cries.
I give her a stern scary look which makes her shut up.
Everyone surrounds Tara as me and Katsuki head upstairs.
I cuddle with him as he plays with my hair.
"Are you ok?" Katsuki askd me.
"No." I mumble and Katsuki hums.
"It was shitty for Aizawa to leave your Mother, but you have my Dad, and you have your uncle. And they make up for him." Katsuki says to me.
I look up at Katsuki and he smiles a soft smile that he reserves just for me.
I hold him tighter as I rest my head on his chest. "Thank you, Katsu." I mumble and he continues to play with my hair. "I don't need Aizawa as my Dad. I went 16 years without a decent one until Masaru and Tony." I say and Katsuki hums in agreement. "And now I have the best boyfriend in the world." I say and Katsuki smirks.
"Damn right I am." He comments.
I lean up and kiss him tenderly.
"Your always gonna have my support Ray. Even if something between us happens and we break up." Katsuki says to me and I smile.
"We're never gonna break up. If we have a fight, we're gonna cool off and then talk about it calmly. We've known eachother for so long, you know a lot about me and I you. Your not aloud to break up with me, you know too much." I say and Katsuki chuckles.
"Yeah I know." Katsuki says to me with a smirk. "I love you Ray." Katsuki says to me.
I smile softly. "I love you too Katsu. And I believe thats the first time we've said that." I say to him and Katsuki nods.
"It is. And its very much true." Katsuki says to me with a smile.
