Jungkook was nervous. Extremely nervous. So nervous he felt as though he could puke. Deep breaths Jungkook. Take deep breaths. Now you may be thinking that Jungkook being nervous is normal but this was different. His heart was beating so fast, he felt as though it was running a marathon.
He was currently in the same place the alphas first brought him. The area was still as beautiful as the first time he went. The waterfall reflected the sunlight making the whole area shine. The flowers were still blooming and Jungkook could hear the faint singing of birds in the background. It was truly a perfect place.
He set up a big blanket to fit all seven of them and brought his usual treats. Now, why was Jungkook there? Well, he was waiting for the alphas. After having that sleepover at their place, he suddenly remembered that he still hadn't done anything to thank them for the shopping trip they did months ago. The alphas had bought so many things for him and he thought that he should give back. He didn't really think that he could buy anything for them since they seemed to have no trouble with money, so instead, he chose to be creative.
Yet going the creative root made Jungkook even more nervous since he was now waiting for the alphas to come. His hands were starting to sweat and he couldn't help but fiddle with his bow of this yellow top.
After focusing on breathing and enjoying the atmosphere of the area, Jungkook heard the familiar sound of steps. He quickly stood up and looked towards the area of the entrance. The moment he caught a glimpse of the alphas walking towards him, he broke into a joyful smile. He waved shyly and stared at the men he so dearly treasured. He was happy to notice that they were all wearing something yellow. He had asked them to when they stopped by Omelas the day before. When they asked why, he shyly answered that he was planning on wearing something yellow and wanted to match with them (yes, the alphas all went shopping afterwards for hours to try to find the best yellow accessories or clothes).
When the alphas finally spotted their omega, they couldn't help but speed up their walking. Jungkook was looking so gorgeous with his yellow top and jean skirt. Taehyung was the only one who stopped and stared at him. Observing every detail and colour so that he could recreate this picture later.
When the alphas finally reached him, Jungkook gave them each a hug and sat down on the blanket, the others following him.
"So why did you ask us out today Jungkookie?" Hoseok asked first. All the alphas had been dying to know why the omega suddenly asked them to go on a picnic so they eagerly waited for his response.
"W-well I actually wanted to thank you." He looked down at his lap, debating whether he should just chicken out. The princes were curious to why he wanted to thank them, however.
"Thank us for what?" Namjoon inquired further, gently taking his hand which made Jungkook look up at them.
"A few months ago... you brought me out shopping." They all smiled at the memory. It had been such an amazing day and all of them would never forget it. "I told you that I would do something for you. A-and..." Jungkook took a deep breath and hesitantly looked into the eyes of the alphas. "I wanted to ask you on a date too."
The princes all felt themselves melt into puddles. The omega was just so so so so so sweet. It was hard to contain all their giddiness inside which is why Jimin couldn't hold it in.
"OH MY MOON YOU ARE SO CUTE!!" Jimin screamed as he jumped on Jungkook and peppered his cheeks with kisses. Jungkook merely giggled and reddened at the compliment and attention.
"Calm down Jimin, you are going to crush him," Jin said teasingly as he pulled Jimin off Jungkook.
"Sorry sorry. I just got a bit excited." The alpha said sheepishly with a wide grin.
"Thank you so much for this date, Darling." Jin gushed as he took Jungkook's hand and kissed his knuckles. Jungkook smiled softly at his gratitude and focused on breathing.
Okay, Jungkook. Tell them the surprise.
"A-actually, I have s-something pl-planned." He stuttered as he nibbled on his bottom lip. Yoongi touched his lip lightly to stop himself from making his lip bleed and gave him a reassuring look.
"I-I made something for y-you." He audibly and visibly swallowed and breathed out a shaky breath. "I-I wrote a song for you." He mumbled towards the end of the sentence, his embarrassment visible from his red ears but the alphas were able to catch what he said. They all gave him wide-eyed looks and Yoongi couldn't help himself from starting to bounce in excitement.
"Really?!" Yoongi asked astonished, his eyes shining with glee and fondness. Jungkook nodded softly.
"I-I was wondering if you wanted to hear it," He asked. The princes all jumped at the opportunity to hear the omega's beautiful voice. They had all heard the story from Yoongi about how he had the voice of an angel, but they wanted to hear it themselves. They yelled affirmations and Jungkook couldn't help but grin at their enthusiasm.
He took a deep and slow breath and closed his eyes. The alphas all calmed down and shut up, waiting impatiently for their omega to start singing.

Silence. Nobody said anything and Jungkook didn't dare open his eyes. He could hear the birds from before and the sound of the water. It felt as though hours passed until he finally opened his eyes. He waited a few seconds for his eyes to get used to the light and once they focused, his jaw dropped open. The alphas all looked at him with wide eyes and a subtle smile on their face but one thing stood out. All of their eyes were glowing. Jungkook didn't know what it meant but he felt it was something important. Before he could really think about, Yoongi took Jungkook's legs and pulled him towards him. The omega yelped in shock as the alpha was in between his legs. His face turned red like a blooming rose and he was astonished to see Yoongi have a slight blush on his face.
"Thank you so much." He whispered as he held the omega's face.
"For what?" Jungkook whispered back, unconsciously nuzzling his head towards the alpha's hands.
"For the song. For being in our lives. For being yourself."
Jungkook began to tear up as he stared into Yoongi glowing green eyes. Tears rolled down his cheeks and all the other alphas came close to him. They were in a circle, hugging each other with Jungkook in the middle. The princes looked at Jungkook and they felt their hearts swell with love and adoration. The omega's nose turned pink at the tip and they joyfully noticed that it matched with his soft pink hair. His eyes held every star and his tears made them seem even more glowy. But what made his eyes so beautiful was the way the alphas were reflected in them. To see themselves reflected in their omega's eyes made them feel something crazy. Every part of their body was hot as Jungkook smiled through his tears.

Promises are difficult because they are so easily broken. Promises can be carelessly thrown away without any concern for how it will affect others. The Moon has seen so many hearts break, even the one of her favourite son. She witnessed his heart break every time people walked away from him, every time he was excluded for reasons he never knew. She looked with sadness as his tears watered the plants on his father's grave, an orphan with only one friend and suddenly a whole business to take care of.
But she saw him heal and fight. Fight for himself and for what he believed in. She believed that they would keep their promise because Jungkook isn't just a boy that has taught them how to love life once more. Jungkook is their euphoria and their omega. And they are his.
